Fantastic experience: Having been going to the gym for ages I felt as if I was working out with no real benefit to myself. It had become less of a challenge and I had less incentive to go. Attending Bootcamp has been so much fun. Yes I definitely challenges me in terms of fitness levels and bendy levels (I'm really not!) but wow it's enjoyable. I love that each morning is a different theme. Everyone is friendly. Sean and his team do such a fantastic job at creating, organising and running the bootcamp. Thank you to this wonderful team for bringing some fitness fun into life. Five stars and more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: Such a great way to start the day. It’s not easy, but you feel energised afterwards. Every session is different so it never gets boring and the team are on hand to make sure your form is correct. Highly recommend it - I’m now on my second bootcamp!

Fantastic experience: Can't sing enough praises for Sean and his dedicated support team of trainers led by Toni and Elliot. Have made my experience of getting back into regular exercise really enjoyable. They keep it interesting with sessions always intense, fun and rewarding all at the same time. Sean has also attended to me with sports physio sessions when I have had the odd niggle or muscle strain and can vouch he really knows his stuff.

Fantastic experience: Sean' s unique blend of exercise classes are a must if you take your fitness seriously. Every session of his very popular Bootcamp is different, all challenging, but fun! He puts a lot of thought & energy into the sessions & I would heartily recommend his classes to anyone. He has a whole range of activities, one on one instruction, physio & even a dietician. I've been going for years and at 62, feel fit as a butchers dog!

Fantastic experience: I have always struggled with going to the gym and being consistent with exercise. I feel so motivated by the IBC and actually look forward to working out - it’s fun, every session is different and everyone is super friendly and approachable which makes getting up at 6am that little bit easier :) I’ll definitely be back for the next 10 week boot camp and would recommend it to everyone, no matter what your ability.

Fantastic experience: Work and life commitments meant I basically let myself get very unfit and fat. Sean’s PT, group classes and nutrition support are great. I joined Invincible Bootcamp and shredded 10kg in 12 weeks. I sustained an injury set back but with Sean’s help, I am back in the gym. I cannot rate Sean and the team highly enough and if, like me, need help getting back to health, I highly recommend you get in touch!! Thanks Sean!
Fantastic experience: I have been training now with Sean for just under 4 years and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He constantly pushes me to achieve my goals and I’m loving how strong I’m getting. Fantastic experience: It is clear how much effort Sean's team and Sean himself in particular put into the bootcamp sessions, with every session having a unique set of exercises to keep things interesting. The enthusiasm from their team each morning makes it a fantastic way to start the day. Each session has a good mix of strength and cardio elements, so it is always a great full body workout, and is clearly effective based on the results so many have achieved over the years. I would highly recommend giving the bootcamp a go!

Fantastic experience: I went to Sean as I had lost motivation for any form of exercise. Sean supported me for 4 months, showing me exercises to build my strength and fitness. He was so supportive, knowledgeable and positive throughout, a great motivator. He has definitely motivated me into a fitness regime where I lost weight and inches and still am. My cardio has improved greatly. If there was an exercise I couldn't do, Sean had a plan b whilst building my strength to do the exercise. I would recommend Sean with no hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Signed up with Sean late 2022, i had just got a place to run the Lakeland 50, 50 miles of hills in the Lake District! Since 2021 i had struggled with patella pain in my right knee, i had been going to the gym in an attempt to fix this but didnt really have an direction. From day one Sean showed great professionalism and knowledge, helping me on a weekly basis to build the right strength base in order to attempt the 50 miles. Starting with improving strength and building upto endurance, my running form and ability vastly improved and after six months my knee was 90% better, i no longer have to wear tape or supports which is a great relief! I finished the Lakeland 50 in 13 hours and 40 minutes, 470th out of 1500 runners. Thanks to Sean and his training programs, i got round the run in a very respectable time, still running at the end too! Sean is a great lad who will always take time out if busy schedule to reply to any messages or fit you in at the gym for a session. Recommended to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer and wants to get results! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Following an Achilles heel injury that had plagued me for a while and meant that I was unable to run I booked an appointment with Emma . Emma assessed and treated my injury and gave me a rehab program including a range of specific stretches. I followed the program closely and am now pain and injury free and have returned to running. I recommend Sean’s physio service and Emma’s professionalism very highly Mark Orchard
Fantastic experience: I have seen a few online PT sessions before but none of them come close to matching the intensity and beneficial variety of targeted workouts that Sean runs you through.

Fantastic experience: When I signed up for the 10 weeks, I was scared... Scared to be bored and give up after a few sessions... But... OH MY! I was completely wrong! The classes were hard at the begining as I started back exercising after a whole year off and was so unfit but gosh, it was so much fun ! I couldn't be happier about my decision ! Starting IBC gave me my energy back, made me feel stronger and more confident! Every sessions are different and more enjoyable than the previous one! The team is lovely, very approachable and always pushing you to do your best when you are about to give up. Also, they are very supportive and caring outside of the classes. If you have any questions or issues, you can just talk to them openly and they will get back to you as soon as they can. Sean did help me a lot. Always answering my text whenever he was free and giving me a lot of support and great tips when I sadly could not attend the classes. I would recommend IBC to everyone I know and if ever you are still wondering after reading this if the classes are made for you...? The answer is yes! Anyone can attend. In our group, we are all different but we are all thriving to succeed and do our best! I just want to finish this review by saying a BIG THANK YOU to the team. Fantastic experience: The one-to-one personal training sessions really improved my fitness and stamina. They were also tailored to me to rehabilitate and strengthen my ankle after a bad injury. I am now back to being able to go for long walks and feel much more stable on my ankle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful every step of the way too.

Fantastic experience: I've been a part of SB fitness for a while now, before lockdown and then after (to remove the lockdown belly) - Sean's Invincible Bootcamp sessions are varied, enjoyable and you're always on your toes - the main thing though is that I come away as an incredibly sweaty mess and what's more important than that? I'd recommend Sean and his team - IBC rocks!
Fantastic experience: Sean provides a bespoke personal fitness programme and he has excellent qualifications, experience and knowledge. He carefully assesses your current fitness state and then creates a personalised programme tailor-made for your specific requirements ability level and goals, whilst stretching and improving your fitness level. Be warned: the exercise programme can be quite challenging but it certainly is a great workout and he monitors and supervises you carefully during the 1:1 personal training session. Be sure to work on your programme between the PT sessions to maintain your fitness level. Even though I run and attend a gym regularly the 1:1 PT sessions with Sean were tough at times and certainly improved my core fitness; I felt considerable improvement in my general health, strength and endurance over time.

Fantastic experience: Sean is a trainer who genuinely and passionately cares about his clients and the fitness industry; dedicated, motivated and knowledgeable! Over the course of my three years he has transformed me from a shy, skinny teenager into someone who permanently feels healthy, energetic and excited about life. No two of Sean’s sessions have ever been the same, which definitely keeps me interested and keeps the body guessing! The benefits of having a personal trainer are endless, workouts have been written to my specific goals and needless to say they are far from anything found in conventional fitness magazines. I highly recommend Sean for anyone who is serious about their health or just wants to learn something about themselves; ten out of ten! ………………………………………………………………………………………………………. I'm now in my 7th year of training with Sean and in this time he transformed me from a shy, skinny teenager into someone who permanently feels healthy, energetic and excited about life. Over the time we have spent training together he has ran me through various fitness training programs including many for strength and conditioning which has included lots of Olympic lifting, specifically cleans and snatches which I can now perform to a high level. So much so that my training ultimately culminated in a personal best of 90kg for 3 reps on a full clean! We're currently working on gaining strength with the intention of competing in my first powerlifting competition towards the end of the year; specifically bench press, squats and deadlifts. Sean's not only trained me to remain functional, but has taken my bodyweight from 54kg to 74kg & helped me achieve a 117.5kg bench press, 137.5kg back squat and 157.5kg deadlift in a short period of time all for 3 reps. As well as this I'm extremely happy with achieving a 67.5kg military shoulder press & 60kg weighted tricep dips courtesy of Sean's ever challenging programs!. As a keen fitness enthusiast I have also taken on various challenges including cycling Land's End to John O'Groats (1066 miles in 16 days), running the London Marathon in 2010 & competing in last year's Tough Mudder obstacle race, none of which I could have done without Sean’s knowledgeable, professional and constant inspiration!. . I highly recommend Sean for anyone who is serious about their health, fitness training or sport, ten out of ten.
Fantastic experience: Sean is an outstanding PT who really understands the psychology of getting fitter as well as the training required. He takes the time to get to know you, your strengths and challenges and, very importantly, is never judgemental. Fantastic experience: After a spinal operation, I developed a condition known as "Foot Drop" which left me with very little movement in my left foot, resulting in a very irritating limp. After a very honest and open assessment, Sean explained that my problem was not skeletal or muscular but it was neurological. He explained in clear terms that whist there was little he could do to cure the problem but there was certainly something he could do to limit the impact on my mobility. Under Sean's guidance I entered into a strict regime of exercises designed specifically to strengthen my leg, ankle and core muscles. I religiously do these exercises at home and at the gym and after a four week period I began to feel the benefit. I still have a slight limp but thanks to Sean Burgess Fitness, I now have much more movement and stability in my foot, which has helped my mobility significantly. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Sean for about a year now and can honestly say it's been a game changer; having studied Sport & Exercise science at University and with a keen interest in Exercise physiology, it was brilliant to find a PT with such a high level of knowledge, passion for the most up to date training techniques and experience to support this. Fantastic experience: Sean is brilliant. I first got to know him when I signed up for some of his fitness sessions in my mid 40s, and from the very first session it was clear he knows what he’s doing and how to get results. Since then he’s done sessions for my two teenage lads and helped them both make great improvements to their strength, conditioning and all round fitness. The sessions are full-on, but pitched at exactly the right level (even for someone like myself who hadn’t been in a gym for years), well balanced between different exercises and challenges, and with an impressive focus on technique that make it clear how well he knows his subject. For my boys he also incorporates loads of useful information about diet, and how to use specific exercises to help with their different sports. He’s even chipped in to help my 12 year old with techniques, and included an introductory exercise plan, and generally tries to help all the boys whenever he can. Overall, you couldn’t ask for more, and I would VERY highly recommend him.
Fantastic experience: Training with Sean has been a really rewarding and beneficial experience for me as a total novice to using the gym. He’s really helped me to understand my own health and fitness better, and works alongside you to help achieve your goals at a manageable pace that suits you. Sean also provides you with all of the tools you need to continue working on your fitness outside of the sessions he provides. Overall I’ve been very impressed with my experience training with him so far.
Fantastic experience: I have trained with Sean for nearly 10 years and from the first session he put me at my ease. It is natural to plateau with respect to training, but Sean always takes care to ensure that personal goals are being achieved. Routines are varied greatly so that no two weeks are the same but he is an excellent motivator, it can be hard work but definitely worth it. A very well qualified personal trainer I know that he is always up to date and continually broadens horizons. He certainly covers a wide range of ages and abilities so I should be OK for a few years yet.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Sean since 2019. To elaborate, I have been in recovery for addiction for 14 years, and after many years of abusing my body, I desperately needed to build my strength, get fit and almost completely realign my body. Through weekly sessions and personal written training plans which I use in my own time, I am now in the best shape both physically and mentally that I have ever been! His enormous repertoire of exercises and encouragement is second to none both in individual or group situations. Fantastic experience: Would like to recommend Sean Burgess Fitness I found myself stuck in a training rut and not really achieving anything , I first started training with Sean in January 2015 at my heaviest weight (around 114 kgs ) and totally out of ideas and motivation. About a month into the first Bootcamp and Pt sessions I decided to enter my first ever marathon which I managed to complete in October 2015 , the training continued and more importantly learnt a lot about weight management , life balance and gave me the confidence to decide to train for a full Ironman event ( which I have now completed 2 and many other events ) I now consistently weigh about 88kgs which has stayed the same since the end of 2015 but the main thing is the none of this would have happened without the help and motivation of Sean Burgess and his trainers who all have the same motivational passion , cannot recommend enough
Fantastic experience: Sean has been my personal trainer for over three years, he has helped me overcome several injuries and become invaluable in helping to maintain my general fitness and flexibility. Each PT session is different and tailor-made to suit and aid my aging and creaky body. He is sympathetic to my needs and has provided me with notes on nutrition, corrective exercise programmes when required, and gym training programmes to follow on my own. He is very patient with me and his extensive knowledge and flexibility enables him to speedily adapt exercises during the session to accommodate any new aches and pains I might have acquired overnight! In spite of the increasing physical challenges of each session, there is still constant smiling and laughter to work my facial muscles! During Lock-down our One to One sessions have continued via Zoom and in addition ‘Flexibility Matters’ has become a regular Saturday morning “must-do” which is challenging, but having a noticeable effect on my flexibility and strength. Sean’s knowledge of fitness and nutrition, focus on ‘correct form’, professionalism, dedication and work ethic are exemplary, and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his classes, whatever your age or level of fitness.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend SB Fitness, the level of knowledge Sean brings is exceptional without being too overstated and he has a great ability to coach you through exercises in a simple easy to understand way. He is very friendly and easy to get on with and gets to know you quickly which helps in the judgement of when to push you harder. As a complement to our Personal Training sessions Sean's great nutrition guidance has also really helped me and boost my all-round energy levels, after just a few months I feel completely different and a lot healthier.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to Sean for PT sessions for around 5 years and I really look forward to my session every week. He knows my fitness strengths and weeknesses very well now and still challenges me every session. Sean is very knowledgable about health and fitness and has helped and advised me on many things. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he will always go out of his way to provide any information I’ve needed. Fantastic experience: I have been attending boot camp/28 day courses and boxing at SB fitness for two years now and I cannot recommend these classes enough! Every single session is always completely different and no matter how fit I get the sessions are always a challenge. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging and I wouldn’t personally train anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with sean after the birth of my first child. we have worked on getting my fitness my core and my strength back. since finding out I'm expecting baby number two. sean has been working with me and tailoring exercises for me that are appropriate for each trimester to keep me in the best shape possible. at 21 weeks my plank is still at 60 seconds so not doing bad.

Fantastic experience: I first came across Sean at a summer fete 2 years ago, at the time, as a Driving Instructor, I had spent the previous 20 or so years sat in a car with no exercise and a poor diet. I did not follow through on the opportunity to try him out. A short time later I had a health check to find I was overweight had high blood pressure and my Cholesterol was through the roof. Fortunately I met Sean again at a Business Network event. This time I took the opportunity with both hands. I was nervous when I went into the Gym for my first session, but Sean quickly put me at ease. I have been seeing him virtually every week since then and have seen a dramatic improvement in how I look and feel. During Lockdown Sean has been running virtual group PT sessions on Youtube which has ensured I maintain my fitness. He also gave me a personal training programme to follow when I couldn't join the group sessions. Sean is a great people person who know's his stuff and will get you to your fitness goals no matter where you are starting from.

From 1:1 PT to group fitness sessions Sean designs creative workouts which will constantly challenge you. Every workout is different and fun so you will never be bored. Fantastic experience: I have been having weekly sessions with Sean for a number of years now and through the work we have done on strengthening the muscles around my knee I am now pain free when exercising which is great. Sean is very knowledgeable and always keeps training programs interesting and fresh with new exercises. I would recommend Sean to anyone looking to get fit and/or start rehab on an injury.
Fantastic experience: I have been working with Sean for a few years now and only have praise for his work. Initially I attended some of his boxing circuit classes held at Broadstone gym. Although I'm a regular runner and footballer I found these to be a more intense cardio workout really helping with my overall fitness whilst also targeting muscles in ways I wasn't working through normal gym sessions. Following this and various football related injuries I have seen Sean in a rehabilitory capacity where he has helped with great diagnosis and treatment. This included recurring physio sessions, a detailed recovery schedule for me to complete, and one-to-one gym based workouts to strengthen. Each step certainly taught me a lot and was decisive in returning me to full fitness. Most recently, during the UK COVID-19 lockdown, I have been participating in Sean's online daily HIIT workouts. Firstly they are a quick and enjoyable workout, producing noticeable results in a short time. Secondly they are all being output for free to keep people active during this tough time, testament to his great character. In closing I would definitely recommend Sean whether you're looking for a fitness plan, training for a specific event or need help with an injury.
Fantastic experience: Sean and the team are always happy and friendly. Ready with a smile and encouragement. The start time of the classes fits in perfectly with work and kids. I can get my training done while they are all still asleep and then be home In time to get them ready for school. The workouts are always challenging and varied. My favourite thing about boot camp is Sean’s calm demeanour. I am not the sort of person who responds to aggressive military style classes and Sean always strikes the perfect balance between pushing you to your limits and making you feel comfortable and at ease.
Fantastic experience: I started training with Sean some time ago. When my husband became ill 4 years ago and slowly recovered I felt Sean would be ideal to help him fully recover. Sean can work with any problems adapting exercises to help with specific problems. So my husband started training with Sean in October. During lockdown Sean has worked out a program where we train together online. It's great fun using tins, kitchen chairs and even counterbalancing against each other. Today my husband was fit enough to finally return to playing golf. I'm so pleased he managed to play 13 holes. My husband will be 80 in August. Can't praise Sean enough for the programs he has worked out for us and making it fun. No wonder I give him 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I'm not one for leaving reviews, but I felt Sean is very worthy of one. I have been training with Sean for four years now once/twice a week. He is a very genuine person, professional, and very knowledgeable. He has helped me loose weight, tone muscle and reduce my cellulite. I have been given numerous nutrition plans and workout plans to help keep me motivated. Due to covid I have not been able to get to the gym, however I’m training with Sean online and again he works me so hard and always has different session planned for us, I can honestly say alongside the sweat and tears I enjoy every PT session and just so grateful I found Sean.

Fantastic experience: Really good circuit training. Lots of HIT activities with sensible equipment. Had a number of people on site to help if you needed it who were all supportive and focused on form and doing things correctly and safely. Would thoroughly recommend any of the classes.
Positive experience: Chaotic boot-camp session! Need to cap the number of people partaking or have more staff on to assist with the running of it. The 2 helpers didn't seem to be helping and not even sure the exercises were done correctly because you were shown once and that was it, had to rely on watching others within the group rather than the pro's.
