Very enjoyable stay. Lovely clean hotel. Perfect location for our visit to Liverpool Philharmonic for a concert. Gorgeous breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately short of time on our stay so couldn’t take advantage of exploring the city but felt well located to do that - a little away from the shops/docks - 15/20 min walk. We stayed in 13th floor with beautiful views of both cathedrals.

Paid £30 for a warm bottle of white wine. The air-conditioning was difficult to control and one night didn't work so I couldn't sleep. Seemed to be alot of students working from the ground floor that weren't paying guests which I found a bit bizarre as my weekend cost nearly £500. Room key got cancelled on several occasions to prompt me to come to reception. Was very frustrating

Tried to increase temperature but didn't work. Called Reception and they came to room and said we had done it correctly but would monitor from Reception. Temperature then increased to 21.6. We had 2 x 2 night stays booked separately and temperature went back to cool after first 2 nights. Again we had to call Reception. Thermostat showed 21.6 but certainly did NOT feel that warm. Will not stay again on our next visit to Royal Hospital, despite the ideal location.
