Fantastic experience: There are problems with the entrance . That doesn't give you confidence visiting gym 24/7. The app is very basic compared with competitors with only benefit the women only area ideal for my wife and daughter. That's why 5 stars. Not for me tho...

Positive experience: good place. It's nice to work out in this complex. I don't have enough group classes, I would like more.

Positive experience: Pros: good amount of space, machines and weights, people are nice and there’s plenty parking. Cons: really old and dirty weight plates, some equipment needs replaced and ultimately brings down the tone of the gym. Conclusion: you can quit your membership at anytime, for the price point if you find better and it’s not too out your way, do so.

Fantastic experience: Really easy, fully digital process for signing up and gaining access. Massive facility in well kept condition with a good variety of machines and spaces. Keenly priced with flexible membership scheme, and unexpectedly isn't full of complete meatheads

Fantastic experience: Good gym, equipment is always clean and working, usually a staff member around if you need help, great price per month and its 24/7. Free classes are a big bonus as well.

Positive experience: Gym itself seems good however the women's only area is very small, would be nice if they increased the space so more women could use the area and more equipment too

Positive experience: Good gym but staff are very unapproachable and unfriendly. There have been some staff members in the time I've been going that have made an effort to say hi to me but most will look away if I make eye contact before I get the chance to say hi.

Fantastic experience: Been a member since it opened a year or so ago but only actively going for the past three months. Has everything I need, good parking, clean, great value for money. Everyone who attends seems polite and courteous, and although there aren't many staff about I usually can spot someone if ever I needed help

Positive experience: I really like what they have done with the place. Value for money absolutely. Clean and tidy.i would like to see more stuff to clean the kit down with to like blue paper last time I was there, it had ran out so I couldn't clean before I used or after I used kit

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Love the set up. I switched from Pure gym to JD and I do not regret it at all. Very happy and highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Been going for about a year now I got to say I love the place staff are nice people are and theres also enough equipment for everyone. Edit: not allowed to use natural chalk in the gym anyway and only allowed to use liquid chalk

Negative experience: 1 star just to gain attention from developers Gym is great no doubt but app is very very basic should have more features like pure gym at least able to show monthly or weekly performance and how much traffic is in the gym currently if these are fixed this is 5 stars any day

Negative experience: Great place to train, parking is also big enough, but why is it always so cold? I'm almost sure the air conditioners are on cold mode too?? Sometimes it's impossible to exercise when your hands and feet are frozen?

I would love to have a wider variety of free weights options or at least a smiths machine in the ladies only zone instead of a long row of old bikes and those elliptical machines that noone ever uses (...at least when I'm there). And more mirrors please!!!!! (Not for vanity - for good form!)

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve tried so far! Clean, tidy and there is plenty of machines for everyone as the space is perfect!!

Negative experience: No internet connection inside , need to wait at the doors to get out for like 5mins until you connect to wifi which is not working if vpn is on

Fantastic experience: Excellent layout of excercise areas, massive gym and always something free to use during busy visit. Really cheap too, so fantastic bang for your buck. Equipment is not all new, but allot of new equipment has been added, gym is clean and staff are both friendly and helpful. Issue with heating in old entrance area, but part on order, felt colder due to low temp outside. Both floors have been refurbished after takeover from xcercise4less. If you are doing H.I.I.T. bodybuilding or crossfit, even martial arts or boxing, then you will find everything you need here.

Negative experience: I went today for a long run and oh my god, how does a gym need heating on so hot in the cardio room?! Sweat was dripping off me even walking. It usually is not this bad, what has happened :( tried to find a staff member but no one around. It is hotter than I have my house heating set

Positive experience: First visit. Not the best sign posted and had to ask to find out where the changing rooms were. However, lots of equipment and seems to be well laid out with room to exercise. All in all, pretty good.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym in West Lothian now. All the upgrades they've made and for £20 a month! Absolutely brilliant. You could just pop in and use the showers daily and you've got a bargain! Update Still the best Value Gym about!

Fantastic experience: Great place, helpful staff. Open 24 hours. Watch out with locker room, it's closing between 0000 to 0500. Recommend this gym

Positive experience: Annoying entrance! Very bad phone reception all throughout the building. Has guest WiFi but only works on one side of the building! Occasionally makes using the APP to get out of the building very hard or time consuming as it requires an internet connection. Perhaps needs a new WiFi AP in the reception area.

Negative experience: fabulous gym but consistently smells really badly so much iv had to leave a few times. maybe more windows need to b open or stink bomb the place after all the sweaty body’s have been in!

Positive experience: Always too busy. Can not get the wights or equipment you want to use. If however you can go at off peak time you will be fine. Otherwise lovely gym, friendly people, clean, good equipment.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, plenty of equiptment, needs a lot more weight plates and bar clips for downstairs though, nowhere near enough for the amount of machines and clients in that section. But maybe they know this and looking in to it. All in all it's a very good gym

Fantastic experience: Nice, clean, plenty of space for the weights. Good cardio layout. Unfortunately,only 2 punch bags and area is quite cramped. Nice clean changing areas. Good Wi-Fi. Available 24 hours. Adequate parking, but in the evening you can use the garden centre next to it when it's chokka.

Fantastic experience: WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Before it was a polished tùrd, and now it's a brand new gym with all new equipment. Compared to the old X4L that used to be here, this place is just night and day better. I especially like the Eleiko stuff, like the weightlifting platforms and the giant rig in the middle floor. They've renovated the studios for better classes and there's just more of everything, but for some reason it feels much bigger than before. I think they've utilised the space a lot better and it's a pleasure to train in. The best thing about this place is the staff. Everyone's so friendly and James (the manager) is the best. And for the price you're paying, it's the best value gym in the town. Overall, if you have any reservations - don't hesitate, join now!
