Fantastic experience: I have used Phil’s service for a 12 week coaching programme. He delivers individual workout routines to each of his clients and really helps build your confidence. He is there to support whenever you need it and you can discuss anything with him. He is great mentally as well helping you to learn more about yourself and the process to a healthy lifestyle. ‘It’s not motivation you need, it’s about discipline’ is my favourite quote of his that made me realise that you just have to get stuff done regardless of what’s going on. Great coach and worth working with!!!

Fantastic experience: Phil is unlike any PT I’ve worked with before, not only has he helped hugely with my progression, he logs & shares your progress so you can track your improvements, helps write gym plans so you can continue to progress on your own, and consistently encourages you to be better, physically and mentally. It’s all about lifestyle, not just lifting weights. I’ve never met a PT with such a positive and uplifting attitude. You’ll walk into the gym feeling tired and uninspired to work out, and leave with a fresh and positive mindset. Phil gets to know you as a person, how you work both mentally and physically, what YOU want and how he can help you achieve it. So many PTs just standardise their clients, this NEVER happens with Phil. Phil will not ask you to do anything he will not do himself, he will never get you to do anything you are uncomfortable or incapable of doing. Phil will change your life! Training with Phil is the best thing I have ever done for my overall health! You'd be crazy not to use him!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Phil from a friend to help me recover after my disc for the third time slipped . I’ve just done my first month and I can’t explain how buzzing I am not only have I shifted body fat and lost weight but I’m in better shape than honestly I have ever been in . He is more than a PT he really listens and cares and coaches you to be your best . I can’t explain how in a month he has made me feel more confident inside and happy. Fantastic experience: Phil has been great improving my lifting technique and building me a plan. He has given me the tool to work out on my own between our session and keep the consistency which is important. Our session are alway well rounded and he is great at advising me nutritionally and also giving me realistic expectations on how to stick to plan and achieve goals. I have never felt any judgment from him even when iv not been great at sticking to schedule. He just helps give the tools to improve and support you through it.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Phil for a while now. He is an awesome person and Personal Trainer. Phil tailors each session for each person, ensuring technique is correct and motivating you in a positive way. I feel Phil's sessions not only provide you with the knowledge and pushes you to the best of your ability but also leaves you in a uplifted mood after each session. I feel that through Phil's sessions I am the strongest I have ever been.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Phil for many years and he's helped me achieve many PB's, from 180kg deadlift to smashing a 5k in 23:26. All our session are a good mix and very varied keeping thing new and interesting, but most importantly always fun. Phil certainly pushes you to be the best you can be and helps you overcome your self limiting beliefs. When you think you've maxed out he'll add another 10kg and say you can do it, and 99% of the time I'll lift it. He knows my limits and always motivates me to get that little bit extra each week. Not only is Phil a great PT but is also a great friend. We've shared many stories and frustrations, and is always there to offer his help. Top bloke, give him a go, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I have trained with Phil for a good few years now, and I can honestly say I've never felt fitter or better. I'm 61 years young, and thanks to Phil's expertise, encouragement and motivation I feel in great shape. I've found Phil to be personable and professional in everything he does. Our sessions are always varied and fun, and, programmed to meet my needs. I always come away from our training sessions feeling uplifted and positive. To anyone wanting to improve their physical, as well as mental well being, I can't recommend Phil highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Phil is a great PT. Once he knows what motivates you He will push you to your best. He has taught me a great deal about movements and how to lift weights with good form. He keeps info on nutrition simple so it's easy to follow and makes workouts more enjoyable. While training with him I felt the strongest, fittest and healthiest I have ever felt.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Phil for a number of years now. I absolutely love my sessions. They are always varied and interesting but most of all hard work. One of Phil’s strongest qualities is his ability to understand his clients individual needs. We train hard, put the world to rights and he knows exactly how to motivate me to continue to improve. The biggest compliment that I can give Phil, is that although he has equipped me brilliantly over the years to complete workouts with good form and given me the confidence to work out in any gym independently, the ‘buzz’ I get from each session keeps me coming back. Fantastic experience: I have had PT for a long time with Phil, I really upped my training with him before my wedding and he got me to my goal! I felt slim but also toned, defined and stronger! He got the most out of me just when I thought I couldn't do anymore or I wasn't strong enough, he pushed me that extra mile that I wouldn't of done if I was training on my own. Fantastic experience: Phil Lea PT is the trainer to go to if your after real results whether your interested in military style fitness to building a muscular physique to simply losing weight. Phil always gives the right advice you need on nutrition and caters to individual needs and gives you direct feedback. Fantastic experience: Phil is a phenomenal PT - he really takes the time to understand his clients, and works hard to ensure that they fulfill their goals. He is extremely knowledgeable, and explains to you how to train in a way that is sustainable and suited to you. It's a testament to how good he is that many of his clients stay with him for years - I certainly would have done if I hadn't moved away from the area. He's a genuine pleasure to work with, and taking the plunge to hire him was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I achieved my short term goal (getting army fit), and learned the foundations that have enabled me to continue pushing myself and seeing results ever since. I can't recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Phil is an amazing coach/personal trainer. He practices what he preaches, and maintains a professional relationship whilst I’d still consider Phil a great friend of mine. I started training with Phil for mental health reasons, to try and make sure I was being the most efficient version of myself. Now I look forward to hitting personal bests lifting weights and thoroughly enjoy my 7am sessions! Sometimes I turn up a little less motivated than others but I always leave feeling much better about myself!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Phil for a while now. He takes his role as a PT very seriously. He is always doing more research in training form and techniques. He always has an infectious positive attitude about him. Phil creates workouts specific to each of his clients to ensure each person gets the most out of his sessions. Just be warned of Phil's famous "5 more reps". It can be a killer at the end of a long workout!
