Modern centre with a family play zone, leisure pool, bowling and a state-of-the art gym.

Our comment from FitFit UK about The Pavilion by Mytime Active:

The Pavilion by Mytime Active in Bromley is an excellent family-friendly leisure centre offering a variety of activities to cater to all ages. Visitors have praised the center's spacious swimming pool, which features a fun wave machine and is often described as clean and well-maintained. The soft play area for children has been highlighted for its engaging layout, making it a popular choice for families looking to entertain their little ones.

Many users have also commend the well-equipped gym, which is suitable for everything from casual workouts to intensive training sessions. The staff at The Pavilion are often noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, particularly in the gym and café areas.

However, some reviews point out areas for improvement, including the bowling alley, which has received mixed feedback due to operational issues and inconsistent customer service. Additionally, the changing areas and pool cleanliness have faced criticism, with several visitors reporting concerns about their maintenance.

Overall, The Pavilion remains a popular destination for families, offering a vast array of activities and facilities. While there are areas needing attention, particularly regarding cleanliness and management, the positive experiences shared by many highlight its potential as a leisure hub.

Positive experience: Nice and large pool with gradual depth. Took my son here and he loved the wave feature. We've come back for a play session in the soft play area and may I day he loved it. The play area is large itself with plenty things for him to do. The staff have been lovely in the cafe area. Ive not tried the bowling area yet but it looks fun. I will be coming back to play again.

Fantastic experience: Prime 60 table tennis is so much fun.

Negative experience: Visited bowling alley Lane 9 - it's crooked for sure. Also, balls are not diverse enough. Small didn't fit mine and 2 friends' fingers and large were too heavy

Positive experience: Visited for the spin class session late evening on weekdays. Easy sign board carpark on entrance. Nice lounge and clean area. Walked past the gym space and is organised and clutter free floor. Spin classes well equipped. Overall a good place for gym/spin.

Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am completely disgusted by the conduct of the management at this facility. The pool has been closed for over two months, yet they have refused to offer any meaningful compensation for the inconvenience or the loss of a core facility included in our memberships. I have been in discussions with them for weeks, often left in the dark for extended periods with minimal communication. Management has repeatedly refused to consider any financial compensation, citing the existence of other pools—despite two already being closed for refurbishment, and the closest alternative to Bromley town centre being a 39-minute bus ride away. I have raised this issue multiple times, to no avail. The manager even addressed me by the wrong name, demonstrating a clear lack of professionalism and regard for customers. Even when the pool is operational, it is extremely poorly maintained. Cleaning standards are unacceptable: I have frequently found plasters around the outside of the pool and floating in the water. Panty liners have been left stuck in changing cubicles. Ventilation units are caked in dust, and the floors are mopped with the same filthy mop that has clearly been in use for a considerable time. The gym is in a similarly unacceptable condition — with dirty machines, missing ceiling tiles, a strobing ceiling light, a leaking air conditioning unit, a gate broken for over three months, a non-functional water fountain, and no paper towels available on a regular basis. I have attached photographic evidence of these issues. Overall, the facility is run down, unsanitary, and poorly managed. This is compounded by the dismissive and unprofessional way my concerns have been handled. Taken together, these issues make it abundantly clear that there is no genuine commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, or properly functioning environment for members. I feel wholly misled and exploited by this experience and am appalled at the lack of accountability shown by management. Based on the conditions, communication failures, and disregard for members, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone.

Negative experience: It is a great venue and good facilities but they don’t use it very well. I booked table tennis last month, and turns out they have triple booked! Three groups have gone to the same booking and it was bizarre. I was lucky enough to have nice people who are willing to share. Just make sure to check with them about bookings.

Negative experience: The website is absolutely awful to try and book, talk about making it unclear what's going on, feels like amateur hour

Positive experience: It was our first time taking our toddler to this soft play, and he really enjoyed it. The only thing that really bothered us was the wide age range of the kids there at the same time – from as young as 1 year old up to around 12. The older kids, especially the teenagers, weren’t paying any attention to the little ones, or even to us adults. The worst part was when I went upstairs with my child and saw a teenage boy and girl behaving inappropriately. In my opinion, there should be at least one staff member supervising whenever older kids or teenagers are present. It was really unpleasant, and I might never go back there again.

Positive experience: A good place to take the kids. Price is very reasonable and staff are friendly. I would advise booking up in advance to avoid disappointment. Good location too

Negative experience: Pool is great, but lots of corroded pipes that have not seen any maintenance in years. Soft play area is superficially clean but as soon as you look closely you'll find so much dust that it's insane. The dust bunnies have the same age as the kids visiting the soft play area. I keep hoping they'll open the nets and clean them, can't imagine they clean the ball pit either.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using the gym and pool facilities at The Pavilion for a while now, and I have to say — it’s an absolute gem, especially for the price. The gym is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with everything from free weights to resistance machines and cardio equipment. The showers and changing facilities are always spotless, making post-workout refreshment super convenient. Special shout-out to the gym staff who are always friendly, supportive, and approachable. Whether you’re a regular or just getting started, they make you feel welcome and help you get the most out of your fitness journey. The pool is another huge highlight. Clean, well-maintained, and rarely overcrowded — it’s honestly a steal at this price point. Whether you’re doing laps or just looking to unwind, the atmosphere is always calm and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience at the bowling alley doesn’t match the standard of the rest of the facility. Booking a lane feels like you need to be a mind-reader or a magician, and the staff there could really use some basic training in customer service. We were rushed during our game — to the point where we weren’t even able to complete our turns properly, which was disappointing. If the bowling alley team could take a note from the gym and pool staff, The Pavilion would truly be a five-star facility across the board.

Positive experience: Came here with my nephew (6 years old) on a Saturday afternoon (2:30pm). He absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it was so hot, that my T-shirt was soaking wet because I played with him at the softplay. Asked the staff for AC. Nothing like that.

Amy Louise Scott 6 months ago

Negative experience: Honestly the worst soft play experience. There was like 12 year olds running around knocking the toddlers over. They had no respect. They staff refunded us but the set up it’s self was very all over the place. Dangerous for little toddlers should have staff in there monitoring it in future. I wouldn’t recommend here unfortunately especially the weekends/holidays. Needs to be managed better for health and safety reasons.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Pavilion by Mytime Active in Bromley, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The facilities are impeccably maintained, offering a clean, welcoming environment that caters to a variety of interests. The leisure centre boasts an impressive range of amenities, including a fantastic swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and engaging soft play area for children. The friendly and professional staff were always on hand, eager to assist and ensure visitors had the best experience possible. The café provided a delightful selection of refreshments, perfect for unwinding after an active session. I was particularly impressed with the family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for both fitness enthusiasts and those looking for a fun day out with loved ones. Overall, The Pavilion by Mytime Active in Bromley is a top-notch leisure facility. Whether you're after a rigorous workout, a splash in the pool, or a relaxed coffee catch-up, it truly has something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Staff are lovely but the actual gym has dust in every corner and near the equipment. The female changing room never looks clean, most of the lockers are damaged and the showers look like they were built in the 1950s

Fantastic experience: Great swimming lessons, the warmest water compared to other swimming pools that we tried around - just lovely ! Great soft play for kids, fantastic location as I can do all my shopping around and keep kids entertained! X

Negative experience: Took my one yr old swimming to family splash Changing was a nightmare not enough units and the lockers hardly had any wrist bands on therefore I had to fix the key to my swimming costume. Pool was ok, stayed away from the edges as it was quite dirty along the edges of the pool inside grit and sand …. I paid for an hour session went in at 12 and left at 12.35 due to lack of changing areas and not wanting to wait around in the cold with a baby waiting for a cubicle to become free… was a lot of hairs everywhere Needs a good clean and a revamp

Fantastic experience: I am a regular here with my children for softplay again can't fault it kids love it but it is noisy as you would expect from a kids softplay and amusement the food Is lovely too

Stewart 9 months ago

Negative experience: I have been a patron of the pool for years with my kids but I shall not be returning. More recently it has been consistently cold and the kids lips turn blue after 10mins then we have to get out. Obviously bills are high and places like these are skint but if you lose regular patrons the whole model will collapse.

Negative experience: Rusty rails, loose floor tiles, shivering. But kids loved wave machine and floats and waterfall. Need some Tlc.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally post recommendations but this time I 100% will. It was only my second time coming here today, the first time was just for a general swim and today I stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to do an aqua fit class. I felt like a total idiot, had no idea what I was supposed to be doing but the instructor was amazing and broke down all the activities into steps and also some of the other ladies who were doing the class also gave me some guidance and told me that everyone who goes for the first time never quite knows what they are doing and to just do what I can do and to just have fun. Amazing way to get fit using low impact activities. It was a very relaxed and welcoming environment and I will defo be going again and I would 100% advise anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone and try some aqua classes, this is the place to do it!

Positive experience: The Pavilion is a great one stop place for the kids in half term. But the hygiene side needs to improve both in the pool area, changing rooms, and toilets near the softplay. Personally we choose not to eat there as the quality is very poor. But if you can do without food and toiler for a 2 to 3 hours then it's perfect to wear the kids out.

Z “Zee” Ahmed 11 months ago

Negative experience: Standards have dropped dramatically. Just avoid dont take your kids to the pool it is filthy not sure what has happened to that palace. MAJORITY of the staff don't have a clue what they are doing. However spoke to Ivy and she was blooming amazing quite honestly she shouldn't be there too good for that place. I request a refund from another session I booked couldn't make it kids were not well and the little girl I spoke to didn't even process my refund. It's a joke quick to take your money but not quick to give it back. Not sure if the management has changed or what but the place needs a deep deeper deep clean. Building, management, staff, EVERYTHING.

Positive experience: It's been the same since I was a child, I'm now 30. It's ok. Food and drink are overpriced and underwhelming. Kids enjoy playing here. There is no supervisor.

Lance Foster 11 months ago

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had. The place was filthy and felt uncomfortable from the start—like I had to walk on tiptoes. The toilets reeked of urine, the temperature was unbearably cold, and the water was freezing. I brought my little girl, and she ended up catching a cold because of how cold it was in there. They should definitely be fined for this level of neglect. I’ll never be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Negative experience: I was a new member but after witnessing a member of the reception staff called Amin who identified himself as the manager on the 14 December be extremely rude and sarcastic to a customer , his colleague was smirking next to him, I have cancelled my membership, no one should be spoken to like that. I emailed a complaint to head office, as expected not even a courtesy of a reply.

Thomas Hauschildt 1 year ago

Negative experience: The pool is very disappointing and in desperate need of renovation. A while ago it was closed for several weeks, but I can’t see any improvements. It looks really run down and even small things don’t seem to get fixed anymore. Last time we went, the slide was closed due to rust - but we still had to pay GBP 15 entrance for an adult and child. When the slides are open they close half way through the session. Unfortunately, you have to book certain time slots for family swims which means all families enter and leave at the same time, but there aren’t enough changing rooms and showers. The changing area also looks dirty. I would expect better and I don’t think I’ll be returning to the pool anytime soon. The soft play area is okay, but some of their equipment has also been broken for a while. This could be a great community asset if the owner would care a bit more about the place.

Fantastic experience: We only use the Bowling alley. It is easy to book via the MyTime Active app if you are a member. The place looks nice and is pleasant. Perfect to have fun. We cannot comment on the amenities as we only go to the Pavilion to play bowling.

Negative experience: I've always been happy in the past with the Glades Pavillion. But it was the first time I booked a Halloween part there and it wasn't whatbu expected AT ALL! The food they served was different to what they said they would serve. There were barely any pencils so the children couldn't really do any colouring. When I asked for a sharpener I was told they didn't have one. So I asked for extra pencils as they didn't have enough to gonround and the ones they did have needed sharpening. And I was told he didn't have any pencils either. On the poster it said that they would have "activities". There was NO activities and the only one they had which was colouring the children couldn't do because of the lack of resources. I wasn't happy this time round unfortunately. I felt like I paid extra for a soft play session to be honest. Thus was the first and last time I will ever book an event at the Glades Pavillion. Sorry...

Joanne Harmer 1 year ago

Positive experience: Love this soft play but does get busy.. Good price but staff need to be more looking when people take off socks or go up the slide wrong way whilst parents don't watch their own kids. Luke warm hot chocolate served and quite pricey on other bits. Was however clean.

Claire Burrage 1 year ago

Negative experience: Really disappointing experience, won't be returning. Online booking wouldn't let us book children (all aged over 8) for swimming unless we added adult- they're all competent swimmers so we don't need to be in pool with them. On arrival a sign stated we didn't need to be in pool so money wasted. Blue shoe covers have been removed so visitors are asked to remove shoes before entering changing rooms. Noone does so the floors are filthy, with lots of muddy puddles everywhere. If people aren't allowed on the shelf during the wave machine for safety reasons there should be a sign- my son was really upset at being told to get off when he obviously didn't know he was doing anything wrong. Pool was packed with small children so my son sensibly tried to take one of the floats to the empty deeper end to keep out of their way but was told to take it back to other end. Not sure what problem he was causing. Slides were closed half way through session due to staff shortages- you're not even providing the service we've paid for at this point. My son and I were spoken to rudely by a receptionist while waiting for other family members to come out of changing room- telling us to get out of the space by the changing rooms because they couldn't let anyone in while we were in the way! I've never been here before and have no desire to ever return. So many better pools around with better and cleaner facilities, and nicer staff; worth it even if you have to drive out to them.

Positive experience: The positives are that it is a big soft play area and it is linked to the Glades shopping centre. The negatives are that it is typically very dusty and dirty in the soft play area (as can be seen on the surfaces of the soft play that are out of bounds e.g. at the bottom of the enclosed slide), and there is a games arcade immediately next to the soft play area, which is difficult to stop my kids being interested in.

Rachel Malone 1 year ago

Negative experience: I've been to this pool many times over the years, and it has always been a reasonable leisure centre, kids enjoy it. Cheap parking and Bromley shopping centre is great! However, this will be the last time I take my children to this leisure centre (unless they make some serious improvements) Went at the start of the year, thought it was very run down, and needs some serious TLC in general, but we'll give it another go. This time, never again! Absolutely filthy disgusting changing rooms, floors are so dirty, you're meant to take your shoes off at the entrance, but to make this rule applicable, the floor in the changing rooms should be cleaned, they should be being cleaned regularly. They covered it with dirty wealth puddles l, hair, dirty tissues just very unpleasant. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Nice leisure centre. Went for Bowling with kids and loved it. Very small arcade area is there. A machine that makes candy floss in front of you and a cafe area as well.

Positive experience: The facilities in the changing areas are not good enough. Toilets are not cleaned and supervised at the regular basis. No hair dryers after swimming and shower. There are a lot of bugs in the family shower cubicles. Overall cleanliness is poor.

Negative experience: I went to Pavilion yesterday with my wife and son and also my cousin and his wife and 2 kids, we went to play bowling and we were having a good time, the staff at the bar were very helpful and professional, however there was a member of staff who came over to our kids and had a go at them for not following the bowling rules, the kids were ages 8 to 12 years old, this was totally unprofessional and unacceptable, for a venue which caters for family’s the member of staff (Anthontio) male, white, long hair with glasses, should understand to act in a respectful and professional manner. There was a security guard who was acting like we were in a nightclub, totally unacceptable and very rude, the security guard was being rude and was raising his voice despite the fact that we had kids with us, such a person should not be customer facing and definitely not in a place with family’s and kids the attached photo is of the security guard, This occurred on Saturday 21st September between 7pm to 745pm at the Pavilion in Bromley, such a shame as the venue is good and rest of the staff were actually nice and professional.

Negative experience: AlwYSs went as a kid growing up , I remember how nice it used to look before with the mini slide for the kids pretty stuff ,years ago . Stopped going for years went today it , now it so run down , can’t do bearly anything without getting whistled out , came out with my face flared up from the chemicals.

Amie Gill 1 year ago

Positive experience: Slightly overpriced for an hours swim ! Got in the pool for all of 10 mins to play with the kids and then they hit the slides I think they went round twice maximum 3 times and that was it all the slides and fountains were closed !!! They need to state this before you book to avoid pure disappointment took the kids thinking they would get to enjoy the full hour of slides if thats what they wanted,to literally get 20 mins … Also the showers are awful there’s all of 5 no doors no private showers just buttons on the wall next to the pool !!! Don’t think I be returning

Chashé. Masawi 1 year ago

Negative experience: The Pavilion pools could be such a great place to take your child, if only they’d keep up with the cleaning. I was shocked at how dirty everything was to the floor, the stairs to the water slides, the dripping brown water marks on the walls. That place needs a good clean.

Marzipan 1 year ago

Negative experience: The most complicated system to simply book my niece and myself for a swim! Rude staff, dirty pool, filthy slides and changing rooms. To be honest it was a complete waste of time and money, which I told the manager, who said “fair enough!” And if the manager doesn’t even care, you can kind of see why it’s in such a poor state of repair!!! Just read the other 1 stars and: They really do march you in and out after an hour! They really do turn off the waterfall and slides. There really is about 9 waves then they turn it off. And I honestly do believe a ‘mean old person runs it’ saving all the money for themselves rather than repair and clean the complex or pay their staff a decent wage which can only be why the staff and management are so rude! Literally a horrible experience !

Dee Dee 1 year ago

Negative experience: AWFUL!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR UPSET THE KIDS - GO ELSEWHERE! This has happened too many times now! They turn off the water fountains , wave machine & slides after 40 mins into your hour - when you ask why, the staff (teens) are rude by shouting at you & rolling their eyes & storming off - I watched them do this to four separate adults. When I complained, another stroppy (teen) member of staff said , “they do it as no one will leave the pool otherwise!” I tried to explain we have another 20 mins and kids all around the pool are upset. They walked away from me too! They march everyone out of the pool when the hour is up and hold all the next group in a queue until you leave to allow them to go in together! IT’S A JOKE!!! Forget speaking to the manager - he said they were short of staff - although they had the same staff numbers when the waves, fountains and slides were all on, then he literally walked away laughing at me and making fun to another colleague about it all, whilst I could still see and hear him!!! THE WORST MANAGEMENT/ CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!!! Honestly, don’t waste your time or money - it’s better spent elsewhere!

Ben Howard 1 year ago

Negative experience: Just wasted 1 HOUR trying to get through to them on the phone (as you can't book 2 children for bowling - you have to pay adult price!). After 25 and then 35 minutes waiting in the queue, they hung up on me. Absolute clowns. Companies like this deserve to go bust.

Negative experience: Swimming was a sad affair. The website definitely needs an update,COVID is over get with it.The slides are turned off which was a disappointment to our older children and the changing rooms had dirty nappies in them. But the worst thing was having my pram stolen from thd place i was told to leave it without any supervision or form of locks.Staff were so unhelpful and basically said “computer says no..” This place needs a total overhaul with some better security for mums!!!

Positive experience: Good facilities clean enough toilets well kept and clean. Staff friendly No sensory area for SEN. Good amount of playtime, we came a bit late and our kids still had a great fullfilled time. They have food on sale and other things if you have older kids/teens. Its safe i could relax while my kids played the 2yr old could go around everything without guidance. Have been twice now.

Negative experience: Horrible, horrible booking system. Just wanted to book 2 x 12 year olds for swimming and the website is grossly over complicated. Lots of choice but if you just want to book a slot, was unable to locate! Called the telephone number, 10th in the cue, (maybe the online option isn't as clear as it should be??? Possibly? 10 in the cue??? ) Get through to a young Asian lady after 19 minutes and she puts me on hold without asking me anything, further 5 mins, then drops the call! I call back and after a further 15 minutes, speak with Dillon who began the booking. Apparently I need to set up an account for my 12 year old child to go swimming? Why? Can't do it without setting up an account? I am the parent and I am paying. He explained I can book it but would have to pay adult price and then child price to make the booking? Getting vey annoyed at the point so agreed to pay the adult price just to get it done! Just crazy, screams of council type thinking. Really over the top complicated and just really shoddy business. Maybe managers should do some mystery shopping calls to experience the process. Any other business would go under! Do better.

Fantastic experience: I came here today for a family swim with my girls it was fantastic! The water was nice & warm, the shoots looked amazing & fast! The waves were super fun twice within the hour I think lasts for 10/15 mins which is great & overall I loved how spacious it is. Only downfall is, it gets really busy! But other than that we had a lovely time definitely going to be coming again!

Negative experience: Fantastic facility, great soft play, bowling gym and swimming pool. Greatest shame is the softplay accepting reservations for privaty parties without notice to the general public. Negative experience: Went for family swim session. The place is quite dirty, rusty pipes everywhere and dusty. Kids loved the waves but there were only about 9 really worn out body boards so a lot kids were unhappy. I saw quite a few newer boards on the side of the pool and asked for one more, only to be told that they were reserved for swimming lessons. The slides were not working, and looking at other reviews it seems to happen quite often for no particular reason. Staff were just there to earn a wage, and I don't blame them. It looks like the kind of place owned and run by mean, uncaring and greedy individuals. Shame on you.

Negative experience: A very bad bowling experience for my sons 6th birthday. Lane 12 was constantly breaking down and the touch screen for adding profiles kept freezing. A nice guy called Alex was helpful and tried to fix the problems but had to keep re starting the computer system. In the end he told me you can't add profile pictures of the kids as its not working. Lane 11 too had several shut down experiences too. I asked for the manager to come over so I could tell her what our experience was like and to ask fo a possible credit or something. To my shock a very rude defensive lady called Katie refused to come over to our lane to resolve the issue instead I had to go up to her and found her aggressive in her tone and she then tried to blame us for all the problems we were having including saying the children were touching the screen too much. Awful rude lady with ZERO management skills. I will be reporting her to the head office. Over £100 spent there and thats how your treated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Negative experience: Slides closed again! Rude staff, over priced. Usually we have a great time here but today the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and stroppy with us. Noticed her giving attitude to other customers as well. Recommend employing someone a bit more family friendly for being the face of the company on a saturday morning! Pricey for a swim as well. Over £15 for 50 mins with me and my son. We were told that the slides were closed for maintenance (2/2 times for us now) but there was clearly no maintenance taking place.

Negative experience: Have to share my experience at the Pavilion over the last few weeks, The door to the swimming pool has been off for over a week, and with the weather turning very cold, it is freezing in the changing rooms, aqua finishes just after 7.15 and with about 7 minutes to 7.30 next general swim , we were made to leave the pool and stand in the freezing cold changing rooms , while life guard mopped the floor, even when the cleaner was present. Please either put the door back on asap or let us stay in the pool to stay warm..20/2/2024 another week and again removed from pool for 6 minutes to stand in freezing cold changing rooms still no doors on changing room as getting fixed..freezing cold again after the management said they would look in to resolving the issue of aqua finishing 7.15 and general swim starting 7.30 pm .. the very small minded man. Blows his whistle and tell us to leave the pool with 6 minutes til the next swim. Jobs worth or what.. his no where to be seen when life guards are on their phones, instead of watching the swimmers .. but he can manage to evict a few women from the pool to stand in the freezing changing rooms for 6 minutes. As a manager his job should be to find some sense of resolve would be made due to no doors and freezing temperatures but no .. small minded management. Just asserting that small little power they have. To get off on.. then being rude about it.. so sad that as a member paying for a service that is obviously inadequate. That no solution could be found from the team to help the situation of the changing rooms.. ie just let swimmers stay in pool in stead of removing them for 6 minutes but that would be to difficult I guess.. no on the spot problem solving skills used at all.. how did they get hired.. must be friend of a friend ?

Negative experience: Swimming pool is fun but the changing rooms are disgusting! Booked the family swim session and when it's over, it's absolute chaos In the changing rooms, can't even find a booth to get changed as it is so packed. Tiny and extremely filthy everywhere.

Fantastic experience: My kids love this softplay! Always good and fun time. Recently my daughter was celebrating her 7th birthday there - was amazing experience. Kids had fun, nice separate area for birthday lunch, caring and helpful staff. Thank you for everything!

Negative experience: Staff are always lovely and pleasant. But slightly outdated and filth is the main concern. This has got to be sorted out. Disgusting.

Positive experience: I just went swimming here for the first time with my daughter. We had lots of fun, it's great pool with a good wave machine, bubbles and two brilliant flumes. The flumes are definitely the best part, they're probably the best slides we've ever been on together, they're both very long and fast. It was also nice and warm inside despite being January and very chilly outside. Overall it's a fantastic place to come swimming with the family, it would be 5 stars although some of lockers were damaged and there aren't many family changing cubicles so you have to queue up and wait for one to become available. The price was also very reasonable, only £15 for both of us, so I'd definitely recommend you visit if you're looking for a fun place to go swimming with the family.

Fantastic experience: I celebrated my daughter's birthday here. We chose a bowling-themed party and it was so much fun. Every child got equal and sufficient time for bowling. They enjoyed it very much. The birthday room was well decorated and the birthday girl got a special chair. Birthday food was enough for the kids with unlimited drinks. Overall an amazing experience. I am thankful to my host and Pavilion for making my daughter's birthday so memorable.

Positive experience: A good nice secure soft play, with a cafe/bar just opposite, which also serves snacks. There is also a gaming area

Fantastic experience: Nice leisure centre near my place They offer swimming Pool, GYM, fitness classes ranging from Yoga, martial combat to spinning, pump, zumba and what not. They also have kids soft play area and Bowling. I have been their member since last August and I think its worth it. Fitness classes are run by professionals dedicated towards their job. I would recommend people to join this place for sure.

Positive experience: We went to soft play which my granddaughter which she enjoyed. The loos are terrible tho`. One of the cubicles has a broken door and the other toilet has a faulty chain. This has existed for a while so should have been resolved by now especially with the volume of children in the building. Please review urgently and get the repairs done.

Negative experience: Booked lane 1 for families' New Year bowling . Arrived on time but was told to use lane 2. Went to lane 2 but someone had started using our game.Staff shut their game down but they went to desk and paid for another game on that lane and staff accepted their money despite stutting down their game a a second time. We finally ended up with Lane 7 despite originally having booked an end lane.No apology or compensation given. Went to bar to order a round of drinks chap took order went of and never came back but was later seen leaving with his hat and coat on ! Then a young girl appeared and took order although she looked two young to be working behind the bar.She disappeared into kitchen and was later seen delivering meals to tables. Then another chap appeared and served me by which time a muttering queue had built up behind me as if it was my fault! Took me about a quarter of an hour to just to get a round in and more muttering when I got back to the lane as I had been holding up everyones game . Not a pleasant experience and certainly won't be rushing back.

Negative experience: The bowling alley and soft play are really nice to visit for 90 minute session, I’m giving it 2 stars as the pool is absolutely disgusting! Dirty, outdated and rusting to bits! It needs a serious overhaul.

Fantastic experience: Great place for soft play but make sure you book in advance as places fill up. They also have a food and drinks area which serves sub-like food so if you forget snacks you'll be okay. Its about £16 for two kids under 5 for 90 minutes - pretty decent prices. There are also tables to sit at while the kids play

Positive experience: I would say that the swimming pool is one the better in the area ; my 4 year old enjoyed the wave machine and would have loved the flume had it been open. £14 for me to take 1 child for an hr is extremely expensive, especially when added to parking or transport costs. Why don't they get an agreement with the car park provider and knock off your parking cost or £3 off of you swim or something. Would make it a bit more manageable to go regularly.

Negative experience: We are waiting for our refund - no answer from Ian or Rachel the management team. A corporate event was booked and then cancelled and refund was requested back at the start of September. These guys are not even responding to emails anymore. It is disgraceful. So unprofessional . Highly discourage anyone to book anything here.

Negative experience: Reception was good but one of the lifts still broken. Some of the spectator seats by the pool are very dangerous but had not been removed. It was Sunday and we had all come out of swimming at about 10.45 to be told no food could be available until 11.30 as there were 2 partys being cooked for, so we waited. By 11.45 we were then informed by the cafe staff that the chef was very stressed and they would not be serving any food. If we had been told this in the first place we would not have hung around there for over an hour with our children. Staff were pleasant enough, changing rooms a bit gungy but the children had enjoyed their swim thus the 2 stars.

Positive experience: Went to the soft play area. Our experience was good. I went with my 9 month old during school time (free under 1s) . It was nice and quiet. Relatively clean. I would avoid during weekends or school holidays. It was pleasant.

Positive experience: It was brilliant just such a shame you only get an hour as it seems to go by so fast ! I think longer slots are needed . The wave pool was great fun , lots of other attraction inside and not very expensive x

Samiksh Sabikhi 2 years ago

Positive experience: It was a great place, The bowling alley and soft play area was really fun but the bowling alley was faulty and we had to stop our game because of this... But if it was not for this, it would be an easy 5-stars. (They did give us vouchers for a free game next time.)

Fantastic experience: Kids love this place. My child was by herself and still had fun making friends despite being reserved at first. Had to book and come back 2 hours later but well worth it.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyable pool, great slides. Water depth gradually increases until it's 2 meters deep They also have a smaller toddler pool. I believe that is 0.2 meter deep.

Negative experience: Visited The pavilion today to go swimming , straight away found out I had to pay for parking , once inside, we meet with unhelpful staff very unorganised. When entering the changing rooms I was shocked to see Theirs only a few so people have to wait we Eventually went into the pool, the water looked and felt dirty smelt like over Chemicalized , the slides and pool need updating as very old looking slides we're closed 45 minutes into the session which I felt was not necessary the session came to an end and everybody rushed to get a changing rooms. Won't be going back guildford spectrum better

Shannon Craig 2 years ago

Positive experience: There is two slides here which are good but the whole place is slightly dated. They could do with some more changing rooms and the sessions are quite expensive for one hour a go

matt langley 2 years ago

Negative experience: Been bringing my toddler here since he was able and generally had a good time, a shame about the new summer school leaver staff working in the pool area, never had any issues previously but apparently my 2 year old had to be singled out today because he was jumping in the toddler pool from the bottom step. Please address the training the provide your young members of staff on how they address people, next time I won't be nice and I will explain in great detail to your entire team and management right there in the pool exactly what I think. Sadly it was an embarrassment for your site, the fact you still have restrictions and time slots is bad enough but your hiring choices of school leavers this year is letting you down.

Shiv Misra 2 years ago

Positive experience: Nice facility. Kids had a blast . The slides and the wave pool are really good , staff are also good and overall a good experience . The only reason I have 4 stars is due to the timing. When we pay for a 60 minute session , there is no reason to close the slides after 45 minutes . Also the pool gets closed after 50 off minutes and not 60 minutes . I understand you want to get the current batch out and get the new batch in, but maybe add more showers so that the turn I’ve can happen faster , rather than taking away time from the session.

Samantha Gates 2 years ago

Negative experience: Nice pool for kids. But changing room situation is just ridiculous. 150 odd people, with hourly sessions. So ok for going in, but when it's time to get out 150 odd people trying to shower under about 8 showers and trying to change in about 12 changing rooms is a joke!

Positive experience: This is a place accessible from the mall and from other route. It is for the children to relax and burn-out their muscles. They socialise and play. It is safe for children. The ground/floor is highly protected with soft foam material that can absorb or tolerate any thing to keep the children safe even when the fall down while playing, no damage can happen. There is relaxation point for both adult and children. Restaurant to eat when hungry, games to play, swimming, for the children and adult. You can even have swimming party there. There is gym, bowling. Good toilets for all levels. It is not that costly
