Fantastic experience: I take my 11 year old here and he and I both love it xx

Fantastic experience: Been going for years flumes excellent when open . Wave machine felt better when I was a kid

Positive experience: Pretty strange layout, having to walk through dirty floors in the locker area and up an outside staircase to get to flumes and then you have to come down a set of stairs when you get off. Wouldn't say it's the safest. The mini pool at the top of the blue slide was also minging. Certainly not the cleanest leisure centre we've been to, changing rooms are dirty. Most of the showers didn't work and were also a bit grotty. All of the above being said my wee one loved it and was none the wiser of the cleanliness. He loved playing under the bridge and with the activities on the wall in the shallow end. He also really enjoyed the waves and the slides.

Positive experience: Voor £5,00 overnachten met de camper. Geen faciliteiten maar wel geweldig uitzicht.

Fantastic experience: Handy motorhome aire, bays only sized for small commercial vans, Get in early if you want a good spot. £5 honesty box at far end, I doubt many donate.

Positive experience: It's a bit run down. I hate the fact you can't communicate with your child while they're in the pool. Trying to get them out is a night mare. The locker keys are attacked to horrible buckle straps so you can secure the key around your wrist. They're all twisted and un comfy. We got moved here for swimming lessons as our local Cowdenbeath pool is closed for refurbishment. I miss Cowdenbeath pool. I miss the staff. The staff here aren't very friendly and not very approachable . I phoned them on sat to ask a question. No one answered and I'm still waiting for a call back after leaving a message on the answer phone.

Positive experience: Was good night swimming. Only down side was older man walking about with shirt and boxer's shorts on .at 1710

Negative experience: You can't book pool online and the phone never gets answered. Turn up and there is a queue out the door. Eventually find out you had to turn up early in person to book a ticket (get a numbered card). Staff well out of their depth. Shame as the pool seems nice

Fantastic experience: Nice water park right by beach. Perge t place to spend a day in especially in the summer. Walking distance to bars and cafes and restaurants with. Huge convenient cat park near by.

Fantastic experience: We went for the first time on a Saturday after driving 40 mins from Edinburgh. Better than any pool in the capital and worth the drive! Changing areas were clean and the pool was warm. The young staff are fantastic, and the sauna/steam room were perfect! Flumes were brilliant. Even the hair dryers were great! (Cost 20p) Only down side was the wave machine was not working but that didn't matter. All in all a great experience!

Positive experience: Plenty of parking, nice receptionist and helpful pool assistants. Facilities were spot on and the little one enjoyed it. Only thing that let it down was one member of staff that was very aggressive that let the whole experience down. Having a customer facing role does not allow anyone to approach someone in that manor.

Fantastic experience: Used the car park as a campervan stopover. Lovely and flat. Right by the sea. Very quiet.

Positive experience: Needs an upgrade and extended opening times

Negative experience: Would give no stars if i could, absolute joke of a place , this pool is constantly closing due to lack of staff 3 wks out of the last 5 i have not been able to swim due to no staff, very frustrating as they dont open till 11am and wont answer their phones before this so you just have to turn up and hope for the best. Absolute waste of my petrol .I was informed this morning that they put on website if pool is closed ,first time anyone has bothered to tell me that, what i cant understand though is how they know the day before that staff are not going to turn up, went to kirkaldy instead ,think this is where i will go from now on as beacon is very unreliabe

Negative experience: Tried going in ere for a shower after a 14 hour day on the road as a hgv driver to be told no cos short staffed even tho I explained that I would be 2 mins and ther was 3 staff members sat chatting at the reception what is the point of been open and online saying don’t shut till 9pm if u don’t let people in very rude anorl to top it off avoid at all cost joke of a place or it myt of just been that I was not a local.

Positive experience: Place needs a bit of a makeover, especially so the pool. It's a bit grim looking and quite dark. The slides weren't open either and I couldn't see a reason for them being closed before I paid to go in

Positive experience: Quite full with a lot of kids jumping into the pool, almost on top of me and others. One locker room had pee in the floor, and it was smelling all around. Quite disgusting

Positive experience: Great family pool that I regularly visit. The leisure centre does have recent staffing issues that I hope will be resolved. They regularly closes the flumes due to short staff at the weekends.

Positive experience: Was nice enough. Staff nice. As usual for almost anywhere we seem to go in Scotland, the flumes were not operating..not because they are broken, rather they don't have the staff to work them. What a tease.

Fantastic experience: I almost don't want to tell you how fun this place is because I don't want it to be overcrowded. But we love this place. And.... Kids get in free on the holidays. Thanks Fife council. But yeah, wave pool isn't too intense, but fun. And the two flumes are quick and exciting for the little ones. Queues weren't bad at all. And the staff are very friendly!

Negative experience: Absolute joke!!! Called in advance to make sure flumes were on to be told they were on till 4pm with last admission being 3pm. Drove from Oakley which isnt just round the corner, dropped my sons off at 2pm went did some shopping then picked my boys up at 3.45. No flumes on the whole duration of the visit. Could've went elsewhere had I known as that's the only reason we came. Still waiting on a call back as there were no staff to talk to for an explanation. My weekend with my boys ruined.

Fantastic experience: Very good pool, big waves, and good flumes. To top it all the kids are free in the summer hols, which I have 5. Massive saving.

Positive experience: Been twice recently with my daughter, she does enjoy the pool. I feel its not the greatest for younger kids who are just learning to swim. The toilets need a good clean!!! Staff were friendly and parking is good.

Positive experience: As far as leisure centres in Fife go this is the best for kids, wave machine, flumes and floats readily accessible. I'd give it that extra star if it wasn't for the chamging rooms, many locks didn't work on the changing cubicles and I had to change lockers twice because either the strap was broken so I couldn't attach it to anything or the lock just didn't work at all! Apart from that the kids had a great time and we'll be back but next time I'll be checking the locker before putting my stuff in it! (Maybe you should put signs on the doors of cubicles that don't work instead of having to go in and out to fund the ones with locks...... or maybe just fix them!)

Fantastic experience: Was only parked in car park at water, however the kids loved this placed when brought when they were younger.

Negative experience: never will I be back , took my 3 year old first time at this pool , it was freezing not pleasant to be in at all lasted half an hour , went to the toilet as we first went in and they were filthy, and this was on opening so should have been spotless , they stank of urine as well .Will not be back .

Positive experience: Staff are absolutely awesome. The only issue is you need to pay for the hair dryer which over never seen before, it's quite stingy. The tower to the slides is freezing. We were lucky there wasn't a queue. It's a small pool however they have done their best. Staff made all the difference!

Fantastic experience: Came here with the kids (4&8) who had a great time in the pool. The eldest rode the waves and jumped in whilst the youngest played in the sloping shallows (and jumped in too). It’ll be good when the flumes are back on but the wave machine is good. Don’t forget a £1 coin for the lockers!

Positive experience: Burntisland, Kingdom of Fife. A beautiful easy cycle through this picturesque little town. Lovely, friendly people smiling at you as you pass them by. Beautiful little shops where you can stop have a chat, learn some history about the building and pick up some great gifts and treasures.

Positive experience: I good family pool with nice areas for younger and older kids. Flumes and wave machine was a big hit with us. Though be warned they don't seem to start until 11 so maybe plan an arrival for about then. The changing area could do with some TLC but nothing too terrible. Cafe area is available to watch any classes etc.

Negative experience: On website it says it closes at 6pm but when i arrived i was informed the pool closed at 4?? This should be put on the website it would have saved me my partner and kids a drive and my kids were very upset. Not happy atall

Positive experience: Great pool with flumes and wave machine. Can be busy as a result, so pick your time to go if you want to clock up some serious lane swimming. Flumes can be notoriously fickle and are regularly out of order. Phone the centre and check if you are traveling and definitely are going for flumes, but the wave machine is fun.

Positive experience: Kids love the slides poolside staff are awesum, reception staff need a course on satire.
