Fantastic experience: Great facilities and cant wait to bring scuba and mermaid to Prestwick on Monday!!!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE the staff are horrible,me and my friends were very kind to the woman and she started shouting at us telling us to leave even though the lady we called a few minutes previous told us that we were okay to just go in.terrible customer service never going again

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool. Recently refurbished. Free parking. Lockers take pound coins, but I was very helpfully given a token to use at reception since I didn't have a pound. Very good experience both times I have been.

Positive experience: The receptionist was busy on the phone so we had to wait 7 minutes to pay. I personally removed 3 floating plasters from the pool.

Positive experience: A small building which houses a pool & a gym. Parking available. It's very clean, but it feels quite soulless.

Negative experience: Very unwelcoming. No seating for waiting parents. Staff pull blinds at reception desk thus making themselves unavailable. Really no service or good customer experience. Sort it out South ayrshire council.

Fantastic experience: I took my family general swimming and it was great. Locker rooms are cleaner and the pool was warmer than the Citadel main pool. For those of you with little ones.

Fantastic experience: Re-Opening Review 12.09.22 Excellent. New Gym and New Comprehensive Equipment. New Lockers and Showers (£1 Coins). Good Shower Pressures...and Hot. Staff smiley and happy to work there in their newly refurbished premises. Parking V Good and close. Price Great.

Negative experience: Not always clean ,poor for changing lockers most do'nt work all in all mneeds attention in all areas .

Positive experience: Spent a couple of nostalgic hours at prestwick today. Went there as kid many years ago,many times. 60 years ago (ouch). Great to see the old pool,brought back so many happy memories. Gardens seems the same. Bit tired town centre. The girl at the station {customer service) was very helpful and cheerful.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing swimming pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful from the time you enter the building at the desk to the pool attendants. Joined the swimming pool Sept 2019. The pool is never cold or dirty and you get a decent swim and exercise. I always talk up about it to others and the benefits of the pool in the local community to the young and maturerer members. It is an important accest to the physical well-being of the people of Prestwick

Positive experience: Not going to win any prizes for looks but a solid swimming pool

Positive experience: First time doing aqua trim. Really enjoyed the class although thought £5.40 for 45 minutes was a bit expensive. The changing area could do with a refit though and no pressure from the showers.

Fantastic experience: Kids went to swimming lessons there and a few fun days during the summer. Lovely pool always clean changing rooms and free adequate parking at it.

Positive experience: It's a really nice pool a little small for the amount of people that want to use it and unfortunately the viewing deck is pathetic but otherwise the staff are amazing

Fantastic experience: I take my son to the pool, it's a good depth. Showers and cubicals are clean and it's it great facility to have in Prestwick. I also use the small gym. It's functional but perfect for my needs and the price of swim and gym offers real value.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently taking 1-2-1 swimming lessons at Prestwick pool and have to say the instructors there are amazing. It’s a great wee pool and all the staff are professional, friendly and approachable. Best thing I’ve ever done. And this has came from someone who really wanted to learn but was scared of the water. Can’t believe how much I’m enjoying it. Top class

Fantastic experience: Great all over work out at aqua class for 45 mins,

Positive experience: A little on the small side. I used the gym for a while which was great if you were on your own but if there was another user, it could be difficult to get on the machines you were after especially if one wasn't working.

Fantastic experience: Clean, quiet pool, 4 lane x25m. Deep end is only 1.5m so great for teaching to swim.

Negative experience: Had to wait as desk not manned everyone in gym section. On entering the changing room there was a lifeguard appArently clearing lockers, on opening a locker it had someones clothing and handbag in it. I advised lifeguard but she shrugged her shoulders and carried on doing what she was doing! After my swim I entered changing room to get dressed, same lifeguard was in process of 'cleaning' floor, no caution signs and it was obvious that soap had been sprayed as I struggled to keep on my feet. I have arthritis and struggle on my feet so was extremely anxious! Also didn't realise there was a dog creche behind the counter! Poor show South Ayrshire Council

Positive experience: Like many council facilities it needs some updating but it's popular with local patrons and the staff are all really helpful.
