Fantastic experience: great gym benefits me being open 24hrs
Negative experience: I went in to enquire about a membership and the person who I spoke to and I say person as he never introduced himself, quickly showed me around , never asked what I was looking for or passed experience with equipment.. I asked about what classes ? He names a few but never caught most of what he was saying ! First impression was not good .. Not sure I would sign up here so will look around .

Fantastic experience: Great to get in shape but not really for low fit golden oldies. Staff lovely
Positive experience: Brilliant gym with minimal fuss. Can just go in, do your thing and pay no mind to anyone else. Or join up to one of the multitude of classes that they have going on throughout each day. Been to a couple different Gym Groups around the UK and gotta say the Ayr one is particularly good. Loads of space, equipment, parking, and everything is kept in relatively good condition. Only nitpicks would be the recent removal of the cleaning stations (ik why they've done, nothing against the decision. All for less paper waste. Still worth mentioning) and the App can be a bit temperamental. Doesn't always record your workouts and the scanner to get in more often than not doesn't recognise the location as being the gym.
Fantastic experience: Great food and great service from both Jay and Ali
Negative experience: I've got in the habit over the years of making sure I clean equipment down after using it. My first visit to this gym and I notice some machines seats smell pretty bad.... And then I see why: nothing anywhere to clean or wipe down equipment after use.... I ask a woman lifting weights where a cleaning station is in case I missed it. She told me they got rid of them to save money.... That solo session was a test day to see if this will be my new gym. It won't.
Hi, hope you are well. Robust cleaning regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We encourage members to bring in a sweat towel to use after they have used a piece of equipment. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines.

Fantastic experience: Good clean gym with lots of machines. Usually quiet enough to get on the machine I want. Good mix of friendly people and personal trainer Aiden really helpful.

Fantastic experience: Most importantly, there are great classes with knowledgeable instructors. Hard work but will hopefully reap rewards. The gym toilets need cleaning and the mats are filthy. The door key pads get stuck and the qr scanner rarely works, perhaps it's my phone. Overall, definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: I'm was skinny but now I'm mooscles
Negative experience: great gym, very clean, good equipment. However, I have had to cancel my membership due to aggressive behaviour of other members: getting into personal space, hostile staring, intimidating behaviour. A number of guys have been doing this but there is one particular guy who is clearly a serious body builder and built like a tank, and he is there every morning. This guy is eventually going to rip my head off with his bare hands. Not a safe place for LGBT+ people.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to the gym group for just under 2 years and I love it. Great value for money and loads of classes to choose from. I go to 8 classes a week, all staff that take the classes I go to, Ian, Ross, Dean and Elise are great at what they do and make you feel at ease and work you to the best of your ability. Also helping you along the way with your form to get the best out your class. I also go to Jamie Stuart for PT once a week and this has really helped me along in my gym journey and boosted my confidence and also totally changed my whole mindset so I do recommend a PT if you aren't very confident. Everyone in the gym are so friendly and I have made some good friends as well as losing inches and gaining muscle

Fantastic experience: No nonsense gym. Go in - exercise - shower - job done ! Very clean, loads of equipment. Plenty of weights and random things needed for a CrossFit style workout. A good ratio of men to women so hopefully women wouldn’t be intimidated in here - which happens in some gyms. Staff and other users are friendly. And the price - fantastic !!
