Positive experience: Smaller leisure centre. The pool is irregularly shaped, so it's not ideal for swimming lengths, but it's perfect for playing. The small lazy river and big side are on during leisure sessions, which are clearly marked on the pool timetable. The baby pool is very tiny. There is a jacuzzi/hot tub in the pool area. It's usually very clean, though shower facilities in the pool area need improvement. Good disabled access and most staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service at the leisure centre pool this morning as usual. The poolside staff take a kindly interest in the children which is much appreciated and their dutifulness is plain to see. Thank you to the SMLC

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for years and the staff are amazing. The person who said about a day pass obviously dont no how public gyms work. You pay a rate for a few hours and leave their our no day rates. I geta corperate membership at £20 thanks to working for nhs The swimming is the best in the lanes though they should limit the amount of people per session sometimes can be five slow swimmers in one lane trying to avoid each other the pool could do with rmoving the slide and making it bigger 2023 Since the gym revamp this place just gets better and better be goof once the new walway is finished

Negative experience: Looks amazing even though the customer service was cold. Wanted a day pass and they just said a bold No to my face. I had thought they’d have such in a place like any other modern gym, especially for those who only intend to use the Gym once [tourists] and wouldn’t keep up to a monthly one.

Fantastic experience: We love going swimming here. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The changing areas provide disabled facilities aswell as parent changing facilities. There is a baby pool that would be suited for babies and toddlers (water comes just above your ankle). The main pool has a lazy part and pulls you with the wave which is really relaxing. There is a slide too which the kids love but just be my mindful and check timings as slide closes at certain periods of time.

Fantastic experience: I am very fortunate to have the SixMile Leisure centre on my doorstep. I am a member and I use it regularly for the gym and for the swimming pool with my children. I have a 9 year old autistic boy and the staff are always so attentive. They go out of their way to make sure he get what he needs. There is a disability friendly bathroom beside the pool which is ideal for his more complex needs. The pool is also family friendly with a moderate depth througout. There is also a slide and lazy river available at family sessions. The gym is excellent following a refurb. It is large with modern equipment. These can be programmed to your specific fitness requirements.

Fantastic experience: As a new member I found the online joining process easy and booking a session very user friendly. Having just spent my first hour in the Fitness Suite I'm so pleased I joined! The equipment is in very good condition, the area is clean as well as spacious. Everyone was wiping down the apparatus after use and the whole vibe was friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive and helpful. Can't wait to go back

They advised us what changing room was best with a baby and interacted with us as we played in the pool with the baby. Ivy’s first visit was very pleasant. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Steven at the Six Mile in Ballyclare done my induction and he was fantastic! Very knowledgable about equipment and workouts and made me feel 100% at ease. I would highly recommend him and the gym to anyone looking to join a gym.

Positive experience: Use the gym with friends, good for treadmills and crossfit but only one of every other machine. Very clean and good to focus on exercise.

Negative experience: I went here with my family over the Easter break but the slide, lazy river and hot tub was closed. The pool is small and not very deep. Would not recommend for people trying to get to swim better but more for weak swimmers.
