Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever been to. Literally cater for ALL members of the population. So very adaptable, friendly and great facilities. Well trained staff. Brilliant classes for all levels and abilities.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, but avoid 4-6pm always hoachin and you'll not get on any machines

Positive experience: Good but was not satisfied with weekend opening hours considering the cost and how much equipment Puregym has in comparison.

Fantastic experience: SPAH offers a wide range of sports, and the gym is well-equipped for all kinds of demands. All the staff, mainly of the University of Dundee students, is kind and willing to help.

Fantastic experience: The best gym out there. Way too better than the smelly Puregym. I've been a member of this gym since 2021 and have had a very good experience so far. In between just for a change I tried going to PureGym and that was one of the worst decisions I took. The gym has all the modern equipment. There are also a few indoor courts here and you will be able to experience playing inside by taking a membership in one of the sports clubs. Recently ISE has introduced the Advagym app and it has been a very good incentive for going to gym

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love my circuit and aerobics classes and enjoy my swim afterwards. Facilities are great and staff are so friendly and helpful . I've met lots of lovely people.

Positive experience: I signed up with this gym here as I'm a student of the university - prices are generally affordable and staff are pleasant. Equipment is well-maintained but at times the cleaning equipment run out. Does get crowded at peak hours so do avoid coming here if you don't like crowds.

Negative experience: Edit: since this review there has been some staff turn over, some people are lovely, some desk staff are unbelievably rude. I also had problems with my membership, I was told it had been cancelled and they continued to charge me… I never got my money back.. beware First review: In here often, staff are always friendly and are happy to answer questions, clean too!

Positive experience: A comfortable and spacious place to exercise, play various of sports such as basketball, volleyball and overall decently equipped with various spaces needed a sports building.

Negative experience: Class schedules are very thin and classes are repeatedly being cancelled at the last minute with little more than a shrug. Community membership is expensive. It's terrible value when they cancel such a large percentage of classes, offering no replacements and no fee reductions.

Fantastic experience: This place has all the exercise and necessary facilities required in any world class sports centre including easy access for disabled persons.

Negative experience: Poor facilities for lifting. Unable to use changing facilities. Only allowed to exercise for 45 minutes at a time. Staff will be there to remind you 40 minutes after you begin and to give you a "5 minute warning" Closes early, only open 5 days per week. Rude staff. Even with your student discount you're better going to puregym or dundee strength unit down the road.
