Fantastic experience: Great venue and customer service for birthday parties! Aiden hosted the party as part of the silver package and was brilliant with the children! There was plenty of party food to go round! Would deffiantely recommend .

Negative experience: Customer service is unacceptable they don't care about the customers. Bad experience. Pitch was very bright which can make you feel dizzy ideal for cricket not badminton. Ceiling is low the shuttle gets stuck easily I lost 3 of my shuttles and when spoke to staff there I was totally ignored and made a joke of it. Terrible. I will never book again and will also not recommend others to book. The whole experience was shambles.

Positive experience: Nice atmosphere and decor, and isn't congested like some pub grills. Food is underwhelming though, nothing more than average and slightly pricey for what you get. Draught beer is good and priced about the same as similar pub grills.

Negative experience: Had a very disappointing experience, after seeing negative feedback and being warned against using what a goal, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and booked to play badminton with my partner only to arrive and be told it was cancelled due to the floor being done and that voicemails were left for anyone with bookings. After checking, I’d received a voicemail around half an hour before our booking time which i hadn’t seen due to it being whilst I was driving there. I wouldn’t say half an hour is enough notice at all and equally, wasn’t even apologetic or offering to book us other days/times and resolve THEIR issue to turn a customers first visit to their company from a negative to a positive.

After the game i went to WhatAShot and i really don’t believe there’s a bar comparable in the city. Amazing tv screens, great service and most importantly great food. Highly recommend the Paneer Bao Bun.

Ethan was very friendly and answered all questions we had promptly and politely. An example of exceptional customer service. Wish all businesses would assist in this way. Negative experience: No chalk allow after been using for 3 years todays they said that to me… very unpleasant staff… no even one single paper tissue in the are… how you can do weight without chalk … no for my anymore

Fantastic experience: Recently had my son's 10th birthday party here, It was really well organised and everything went smoothly, which is every parents dream. All the staff were really friendly and interacted with the kids brilliantly. The party food was a lot better than expected and was a big hit with the kids. I would definitely recommend What A Goal to anyone that's never been before, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Just had my little boy's birthday party at What A Goal Leicester and he had the best time. There was plenty of play time for the kids to enjoy, and the host even got the adults involved at the end for an adults vs kids game! Food was hot on arrival and lovely. We didn't feel rushed at any point. All the staff were friendly and the venue was impressive.

Negative experience: Overrated & overpriced. Not really friendly and I used to play football every week on a Monday 8-9 & the group before 7-8 (I’m sure they still play), Asian lads never come out on time & when we start going in as it’s time they start swearing and being abusive. I told the guy at the desk but he didn’t seem bothered.

Fantastic experience: Solid venue, really nice staff. Alex new manager is calm and collective. Djed here a few times and also had family functions here. I highly recommend this venue as the atmosphere is great. Onky thing it needs now is a loft

Ended up signing up to the gym to try it for a month having never been to the gym before and Ethan and Sabian have been showing me all the exercises, I feel so much better for it and my confidence has gone sky high! Positive experience: Great concept and fantastic decor. Service was a little slow and the waitress insisted they didn't have sparkling water but later offered a soda water option. I think sparking water should be an option on the menu. Food was nice and considering it was a sports bar the ambience was just right. Massive negative is there's only a baby changing unit in the women's toilet which I believe is extremely bias against single parent/father families. In European countries when we have come across this issue my husband has without a flinch gone into the women's toilets to change our daughters nappies if required and has not had a bad reception from other tourists/guests. This didn't seem as welcoming here as when questioned he wasn't encouraged to go into the women's toilets by the waitress and when an asian mother came in to the women's toilets and saw my husband she didn't seem impressed which put us all in an awkward position. We are after all in a new generation of parenting where fathers take active roles in caring for their children so to find that such a modern and updated restaurant and sports bar to not have a baby changing unit in the mens toilets or a separate disabled toilet with baby changing facilities I was quite disappointed!

Positive experience: Although I didn't have any food, the aromas from the kitchen were gorgeous It was proper family sport Saturday night out establishment. The staff were attentive, making sure you had a drink or that your table ready. It's surprisingly worth a visit.

Negative experience: Jay the owner is EXTREMELY rude and arrogant! Bar staff EXTREMELY incompetent. I brought 3 drinks all singles and got charged £25.84, and then my friend brought the same 3 drinks and got charged £8.00! And then she brought 2 single drinks and got charged £29.00! Measures were not used either which meant drink measurements were sporadic. I feel like we were totally scammed and something dodgy is going on! This is not the first time we've been there however, we went in a big crowd and one of my friends mentioned it. Absolutely disgusting service and INCOMPETENCY is unreal!

Negative experience: Great pitches and curry house but 2 receptionists are rude

Fantastic experience: 9 of us Visited the directors lounge bar on Saturday. Food was amazing. The best Keema I’ve had in a long time, I intend to try the Bao Buns next time I visit as they looked pretty impressive. Fast service and great food. The Bar has a good vibe and nice decor, had a lot of ppl raving about this place and it did not disappoint, looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic experience: One tiny bit of feedback, which was very well received by owners, and the DJ, which was how loud the music was pre match and at half time. The atmosphere here is quality, and to a dish, the food is very tasty (both veg and non veg). Staff are also attentive and friendly. It is an easy 5 stars and has quickly become a local favourite and go-to for sports.

Negative experience: Starters were ok. But curries were one of the worst I’ve had. Wayyyyy too much Salt, I felt like I was having salt curry. Never again.

Negative experience: Nice idea , not too clean. Food: Lamb chops covered in a powdery paste mutton not lamb Fried goyza average Salt and pepper fish , edible just. Chicken curry Horrible thigh meat and chewy slimy Lamb curry Tough and chewy Chicken kadai, same thigh meat inedible And the shashlik. Methi aloo £9 small portion of potatoes Rice was like boil in the bag, not delicate at all. Chef did ask us and we did say we didn’t like it. £133.60

Positive experience: This used to be a trampoline Park before. We used to come with our kids when they were younger. What a transformation its undergone. Has so much more to offer now. Indoor 5 a side pitch, cricket pitch, gym, soft play and a sports bar and grill. This was our first time. Came with the family for a meal. A really nice restaurant/bar, quite large and open plan with a large square bar in the middle. Love the open kitchen. Plenty of TV screens to watch the sports. Obviously the world Cup was on. Food was standard, that is to say very tasty. Although, one of the curries was on the small size as far as portion size is concerned. Was surprised it was quite quiet for a Saturday evening. Expected it to be busy considering the world Cup was on. Overall nice place would definitely come again.

Negative experience: Not the best place to go if you fancy Indian food.. although the place has been done up nicely it’s a shame the service & food don’t match it. It’s also very pricey compared to some of the better Indian restaurants in Leicester. We had asked for the food to be made spicy however the dish still tasted very bland & sweet. The naans were just warm, and chilli chips very dry. Was also surprised that they put a charge of .50p per container for take away any left over food. Now you wouldn’t mind paying this although I’ve never seen it but when the food & drink are already over priced it’s just one more way of them getting more money out of you.

Fantastic experience: Went to what a shot and it was brilliant from start to finish ….I had booked a table and it was ready for us when we got there…the car parking no problem easy and accessible. We asked to be seated in a different area from the busy part of the restaurant and it was sorted which was great the food was amazing the service was great the atmosphere was fantastic and the vibes really really banging! Would easily defiantly go again to eat and drink amazing view of any sport overall excellent place to go with family and friends.

Fantastic experience: A unique place, and we went to What a Shot, which I guess is a sports bar, but the food was really good. Full of flavour, lots of punch, and clearly a chef who is on top of their game. The dum biryani was a real highlight, but it was hard to single just this out against all the other dishes we had. The only area where there is room for improvement is the service. We were seated fast enough but no menus provided or drinks orders taken until we prompted them. That set the tone for the evening, we had to request orders to be taken every time. Still the food was more than good enough to overlook this, but for a relatively new business, it is an area to improve.

Positive experience: A great indoor football facility which has two 3g style pitches. Despite the pitch size being smaller than your average Goals or Powerleague pitch it was still enjoyable. There are ceiling nets to keep the ball from leaving the pitch and the goals are built into the side boards.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad to see the scale of our area level up to amazing venues. Sports facilities,Gym,Kids play area (rascal ranch) and the Bar with the huge LED screen wall with fantastic food and drinks. Please come and support this place as its exceedingly beyond anything else in leicester

Positive experience: I only went to the bar (what a goal) for a quick drink, the place does look quite up market with prices to match. Being a sports bar there are enough TV 's dotted around to be able to watch any sport that's currently showing, with a bigger screen towards the back. The place itself has lots of sports facilities but I am yet to try those out, as well as the food at the restaurant. EDIT: as I have received a response from the owner I'd just like to say when I do try the food and facilities I'll be able to raise the rating

Fantastic experience: This is a great fitness centre. There are indoor football & cricket pitches which can be hired out. A Gym is located in the centre. All equipment is brand new and looked after. It's never been too busy or over crowded when I've been there. Fitness classes are available as part of the gym membership. Decent locker rooms with clean showers. There's even a sports bar / restaurant upstairs at 'What a Shot' which serves great food and drink. (You do not have to be a member) Entertainments available for the kids next door at 'Rascal Ranch' If you're looking to book a pitch, go to the gym, or just grab a bite and a pint, this is the place to go to.
