Fantastic experience: I’m a current member here, the gym does what it needs to, no egos here which is what I like, staff are friendly, members chat with each other and support one another too! It’s a great gym glad I joined.

Fantastic experience: LGBTQ+ Friendly. I have been coming to Trident Gym for 3 years and have never had any problems with both staff and fellow customers. All the staff make me feel very welcome and as a part of the LGBTQ community, have always felt very comfortable and can be myself whilst training. I often burst out into song and dance haha. Also, my PT there Step Wood PT is the best of the best for all round fitness levels and achieving goals. 5 Stars ️‍️‍⚧️

Welcoming and friendly staff , making the effort to get to know their members ! Great classes and knowledgeable PTs . Clearly you're thinking about getting into better shape and reading this , so don’t bother wasting your time or money trying other gyms! Just head straight to Trident !

Fantastic experience: Great experience, great show. I would like to have seen a second bar if we were to go again as it was really difficult to get to the bar so we only ended up having a couple of drinks but ovwrall a great night and friemdly club. All the staff couldnt do more for you.

Fantastic experience: Can't say how friendly staff are! Always get a "hi," equipment / form advice if you ask, and even if you don't ask- they are truly about your progress, fitness and well-being. What all gyms should be like!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, family friendly gym. Atmosphere is great. Owners and trainers are all brilliant and helpful. Have something for everyone, whether you've never stepped foot in a gym before or you're a seasoned lifter! Even have classes for mums and kids. Can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience: After years of yoyo dieting with clubs that did not really help me and low level fitness for my other half and myself, we visited Trident and met Joe. Now we are learning how to make the right choices with food. Not only that, we have had a private fitness assessment and personal exercise plans. From being incredibly anxious about going into a gym we are both really looking forward to it. Joe - and everyone we have met here, are so relaxed and friendly and its amazing! This place is so different to what I imagined. Thank you Joe - you are a life changer ❤️

Negative experience: Had an unfortunate experience today at this gym, which was disheartening as I was really looking forward to joining. While a business can rightly limit the way in which it accepts payment, I was unable to provide payment in a specific manner because someone ‘like me’ couldn’t possibly have been in possession of a certain form of legal tender. Said treatment was clearly on the basis of my appearance as I was looked up and down before my tender was rejected, with the owner rudely instructing me to spend my money elsewhere. Shout out to the owner I spoke with for making it such an easy decision not to return. Definitely will not be.

Fantastic experience: Really pleased to have joined the gym at Trident. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym itself is large with a great selection of equipment, meaning that you are able to get through your workout easily. Being open from 6am also gives you the option for a pre work workout which is an incredibly useful option when in the office.

Fantastic experience: Go ask for Joe or Chris, theses guys will take you through everything, say Billy sent you. Give it a try, if it's not for you.

Fantastic experience: facilities are brilliant. gym is always spotless and there's a good ethos with members wiping down kit after use. All across the board the staff are the difference for me. Always nice to walk in and be greeted by someone that likes their job. always polite and most importantly like to have a laugh. Only gripe is that they don't have enough dogs to hug..

Fantastic experience: After being a member at Trident Fitness for the last few months I can honestly say it is the best facility I’ve ever trained at. The equipment is all high quality and easy to use, the staff are all friendly and always happy to help, the facility is always clean and tidy with a great customer base so a lot of the weights are returned but the staff are constantly making sure everything is where it should be if not. Unlike many more commercial gyms i’ve trained at, Trident is not over sold, so I very rarely have to queue or wait for equipment. However, the price is in line with what the majority of other gyms charge so incredible value for money. All of the above creates a much better training environment which I would recommend to anyone of any skill level. Always plenty of classes going on with lots of variety, catering to any age/experience so really is something for everyone. On a side note, I recently left my car in the car park when I went to do some shopping, forgetting what time the gym car park closes. I found my car locked in when I returned so assumed I would need to come back in the morning for it. However, I messaged the gym to make them aware and a member of staff actually came back to the gym to open back up at 9:30pm! Another example of why this gym is apart from the rest.

Fantastic experience: Amazing vibe and great gym. Got everything you could possibly need from a gym (Even a cafe). Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to start or looking for a new one.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Got that old school feel but still has all the equipment you need. The members are very friendly and happy to assist should you need it. Communication from the gym itself is good as they constantly email members to inform them of any changes, new classes or disruptions that might occur.

Fantastic experience: A great gym with helpful staff. All the machines, weights and equipment you need to get into shape is available and maintained to a high standard. Would recommend the gym to anyone who is able to go.

Fantastic experience: Lucy Harrison Sports Massage Therapy works from Trident fitness in her own treatment room. Lucy is very professional and highly effective at sorting out any type of injury or muscular problem. I can highly recommend 10/10 xxx

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic gym! I was so nervous when I first started but, everyone is so welcoming! So many new classes! I would deffo recommend the spin class! It was hard work but so fun!

Fantastic experience: Been through many gyms over the last thirty years and I can honestly say Trident stands out as somewhere that cares about it’s members and makes them feel part of something special - Expect an enthusiastic greeting from reception every time, excellent equipment and amazing classes that will challenge you as far as you want to go - The wealth of knowledge the PTs have is immeasurable and they are willing to go above and beyond to ensure good form and safety are a priority - These guys give you so much confidence, I never imagined I’d enjoy lifting weights but it has become a lovely obsession.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for over 3 years now. This gym has all you could ask for as fighter or weightlifter; various resistance machines, plenty of weights, various bags and boxing / MMA equipment. The classes put on are very good. There are numerous clubs and groups that are based here, such as Allegiance MMA which is a very club to learn boxing, sambo, judo, MMA and many more! Overall this is a good gym. You defiantly get what you pay for, and more!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym that is not part of a chain. It offers MMA classes, Karate, Boxing and Pro Wrestling and weight lifting competitions. It has a large selection of machines, strength training equipment, along with some equipment. If you want to build strength this is a great place.

Fantastic experience: Fab gym, very open and family friendly. Good range of equipment and personal coaches too.
