Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre

Fantastic experience: We held our son’s football party back in December. Special thanks to Rob for helping coordinate it all, very professional and kind. All the staff on the day were super friendly and helpful too. Nothing was too much trouble. We used the sports hall and the function room which were all very clean and tidy, ready for our arrival. Highly recommend this facility for birthday parties and events!

Fantastic experience: We had our sons 5th birthday party here today and from start to finish it was brilliant. Rob helped us pick out all the toys and activities and was very helpful and accommodating with our date and time needs. Joe and Jason took excellent care of us on the day and couldn't have been more helpful. Would highly recommend having your kids birthday party here!

Fantastic experience: We used the sports center 2 day for our sons 5th birthday party it was amazing along with the staff nothing was to much trouble they set it all up and even cleaned away So much stuff to keep all the kids entertained from bouncy castle to football the little ones and the bigger ones had a great time Really was a hassle free party enjoyed by all Thank you

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to express how impressed I am with the Fakenham Gymnastics team. Our 3-year-old daughter has tried many different groups, but none felt welcoming or suitable for her—until we found the Gymnastic classes at Fakenham Sports Centre last year. The coaches here are incredibly welcoming, and now my daughter looks forward to her gymnastics lessons every week. Rosie and the team have done an amazing job creating fun, exciting, and well-structured classes for all the children. The excitement on the kids' faces every Saturday speaks volumes. Keep up the fantastic work! Ottilie absolutely adores the team here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend enough this gym enough! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and I absolutely love the fitness classes hosted by Helen. It can be nerve racking joining a gym but I’ve always felt so welcome and able to approach the staff whenever I need to. If I haven’t been able to book onto a class via the app due to popularity, Helen will always give me a call to ensure I don’t miss out. My favourites are LBT and Clubbercise, I always feel that I’ve worked my muscles plus we always have a laugh - it’s a great community. I have also received so much help from Carl, the manager in the gym itself. Carl is such a lovely guy and has really bent over backwards to help me with a fitness regime, to work around me for gym sessions and is always on hand to offer help and advice. He definitely goes above and beyond with everything he does and has always made time for me. Fitness should be fun and these folks definitely make it so! Thank you Fakenham gym for your outstanding service, you should all be very proud!

Positive experience: It's a nice gym with nice amenities but unfortunately as a larger lady I never felt comfortable there

Fantastic experience: Pleasant staff,any problems sorted out and adequate facilities for myself.

Positive experience: Unfortunately the gym here at certain times has become over run with teenagers who do not behave appropriately and staff do nothing about it! Equipment is not used correctly which is of detriment to themselves, staff don’t monitor or move them on. Equipment is not updated or improved. Shower area is reported to be unclean too! With the new gym opened I think the place needs a rethink! Shame really!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant to chill out in the gym, sports hall, showers and toilets with changing facilities, small gym but compatible for you need it for. Never too busy.

Fantastic experience: Great range of facilities, lovely staff who are really friendly. The gym is exceptionally well equipped. The memberships available are great value for money and you can join online which saves lots of time. The sports hall has lots of sports on offer and loads of sessions for younger kids to older ones. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Decent size gym. Not huge but I've never struggled to use anything I needed too. Helpfully staff here and plenty to do. Bit hard to park at busy times but so far so good with this place.

Fantastic experience: Really great honestly, have been going since 2018 and had no problems even since the revamp Really solid place and they can consolidate a lot of people in the different sports they do, I've seen others do basketball and Babington as well as gym Wouldn't mind if that kids thing was at a different time tho or at least change the music as the greatest snowman over and over make me wanna roundhouse the radio

Positive experience: Usually quite quiet. Not a huge facility but everything there you would need. No pool though as it's smallish. Helpful staff. Very clean. Lockers a bit rickety. Hairdryers for those who need one.

Fantastic experience: Been a member at this club for several years, but feel that I must give them a shout out at this difficult Covid time. The club is very well organised, the receptionists always cheerful, helpful and lovely - as are all members of staff. However, a massive accolade for HELEN - undisputed queen of the classes. Unquestionably the best fitness teacher I have ever had. Her classes are always fun, appropriate to the individual, professional, excellently choreographed, thoughtful AND FUN! They take the pain out of the pain. Thank you, Helen.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for several years and I love it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I don’t use the machines, I only do classes and they are fab. Helen can pitch them at level that works for you and your fitness level, she has a huge amount of skills and experience. She’s also got a good sense of humour which really works for me. Hats off to all staff at this gym, I don’t know how they have done and continue to deal with all of us in their front facing roles during COVID times but they do, and with great aplomb!

P referrals made for the less able bodied, sessions with a personal trainer, qualified to help. Cardio recovery and breathing problems have specialist classes. Easy to make friends and enjoy yourself. Just walk in and ask what is there for you!
