Negative experience: After building up confidence to go to a gym I finally plucked up the courage to go. It took a few days. Was disappointed. My words didn't quite get out what I wanted to say as I was so nervous but within finishing the sentence "I'd like to join a gym" the guy (not the owner) shoved a joining form under my nose. Again, nervous I asked what you could do for me? I don't remember what he said, I shut off as he clearly knew nothing.i wanted to know if there was a guided tour of the gym so I asked if I could view the gym. He replied " yeah, (he pointed) go round there to the bottom" charming! I went, and couldn't get out fast enough, the gym had all great equipment but it would have been nice to have had someone showing me. There were two people working out so it wasn't as if it was busy at this time. Didn't instll confidence...I wondered if the owner knows how his employee is selling his business.now looking for a gym that I'd feel comfortable going in....any suggestions
