Positive experience: Clean, tidy and well presented

Positive experience: Been going to the swimming pool for many years already. It's usually quite good, but the staff around may lack communication skills. This morning there was a poo accident in the swimming people. I am concerned if things weren't rushed. A young guy removed the contamination( i hope it was a thorough inspection for such a big facility and the on-duty manager should have followed a correct protocol) and 15 min later the swimming pool was reintroduced to the customers. It is long enough, is everything being checked well and filtered?

Negative experience: Water in large pool is always cold.they do not allow you to take inflatables in so really boring .

Positive experience: As a member just feel that we should be able to have proper cups and not paper cups on swimming gala days. We have to arrange how we get there as no parking spaces available., I realise you get paid a lot of money for the hire of the facilities but you need to think of your members.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Induction course was informative, as it should be. Facilities are great.

Positive experience: Recently started playing Pickleball here in the sports hall and really enjoy it. Today we drove half an hour from home to Louth only to find there is no play today due to the hall being used by blood donors. It would have been nice if the Meridian centre had posted about this on its website to let people know in advance and not have a wasted journey. Also I am surprised this hall is needed for blood donation when it is busy with sports activities. Surely there are other suitable premises in Louth that are available in the daytime?

Fantastic experience: It's a very nice, modern building, and from my brief visit, seems to be well equipped. The staff there are both helpful and friendly. I went to observe an aquacise class and sat in their spacious viewing section. I've also eaten and had a coffee there in their ground floor cafe,the coffee and food were nice and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately no pictures were taken for privacy reasons.

Positive experience: Cold main pool, we eventually got used to it but felt cold the rest of the day, Toddler pool is shallow but nice and warm Slide was closed when we went, We paid online it was very easy straightforward and quick, helpful person on reception who was friendly and efficient

Negative experience: Came whilst on holiday. Booked a double MV pool party session in advance for kids Got here for 5. Cafe closed. So I sat there as a spectator for 2 hours with out being able to get a drink as the drink machine was also out of order and also the flume was closed to swimmers. Pool party consisted of a few balls thrown in pool and half a dozen pool noodles. I wouldn't recommend. Waste of money

Fantastic experience: Went there for a tour, and used the gym a few times. Pretty enjoyable experience. There weren't a lot of people when I went. (Around 6-7pm)

Positive experience: Good staff can't fault em, changing rooms and pool area could do with a scrub...few polar bears and penguins maybe to suit water temperature but at least you can warm up in the cold showers.

Fantastic experience: Been using this facility for several months. The layout and facility is clean fresh and the staff are excellent. The clubs are great and very proactive trainers. Shout out to Lewis and lou (gym & swim) our son loves there classes. Plenty for all the family .. worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: A great place to relax and play sports, many sports. Very professional staff. Friendly and cheerful trainers. I am from Ukraine and with great pleasure I go to swimming, water aerobics and the gym. I recommend everyone to visit the sports and fitness center.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time at the family fun session. We used the main pool with floats and then to the smaller shallower leisure pool . The children 11 and 8, loved it all especially the large slide. We spent well over an hour and a half in the water. We had a late lunch in the cafe. The food was very good quality. We found all the staff very pleasant and helpful . The whole area was clean and well looked after. We will definitely be visiting again

Fantastic experience: What a lovely venue for a coffee, smoothie or lunch. The staff are amazing, we hold a weekly event here and the staff just can’t do enough. They go above and beyond. I wish I could give them 10 stars ⭐️

Fantastic experience: It’s our children’s favourite pool. It’s clean, it’s spacious and there are plenty of lockers and cubicles. Family changing so no having to divide up children between the parents.

Fantastic experience: We visited Meridian Leisure Centre while on holiday in Mablethorpe. We took our 5 month old and 2.5 year old swimming/Paddling in the "pirate ship pool". They loved it. Really nice and warm pool. It was nice to see the lifeguards so alert and watchful of the entire pool area. The changing rooms were nice (family changing cubicles available) though some locker keys had broken bracelets. The receptionist was helpful and when we rang in the morning to ask a few questions, we got through straight away and they couldn't have been nicer. I'd thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had to find somewhere else to swim with the children as on our park site, it was completely booked up with it being August, school holidays. I searched up pools in that area and found this place, 20 mins from where we were staying.... we are so glad we did as it was a 100 times better than the pool on site! The complex itself was huge! Staff were lovely, large children's pool was lovely and warm. The children got to go on a water slide which they loved. The larger pool wasn't to cold either. They had fun inflatables out for children in the larger pool too! It wasn't packed at all so you could actually swim. There were lockers to put your belongings in and plenty of cubicles to get dry. Also a large cafe/dining area in the complex too. Brilliant place.

Positive experience: Took the Grandchildren on a rainy day in the 6 weeks holidays, it was good fun and we were in there 2 - 3 hours which was plenty of time nice changing facilities as well, a few draw backs where that it was very crowded and busy possibly because of a rainy day also the chlorine was really strong took all the rest of the day for my eyes to stop stinging same as one of my granddaughters. The worst was at the end of the sessions when they were spraying chlorine around the changing rooms before the last customers were out my eyes streamed instantly.(terrible feeling). The large drying machine also states dry yourself environmentally friendly by not using your towel how can this be when you need electric for this and it generates heat the sign needs changing as its untrue

Positive experience: Good pool, friendly staff, fairly busy, worth pre booking for lane swimming.

Positive experience: Cant beat it in really but I think it closes far to early on a Saturday especially in the summer. Early finish on a Sunday is understandable but for the price I think 8pm on a Saturday would be a reasonable time to shut.

Positive experience: Good facilities, and staff are friendly and helpful, I enjoy a swim now and then but cancelled my gym membership partly due to time commitments of work and partly because it is so hard to get a space in any of the evening pilates sessions, they are almost always oversubscribed.

Fantastic experience: Omg the staff here are so friendly and helpful. We are on a camping holiday & there was an issue with the water so I couldn't have a shower. Phoned leisure centre & they said there was an option to pay for a shower. Staff were really friendly & directed me to a less busy changing room as it was super busy due to Bank Holiday. Had a great shower & this has saved my holiday. Thank you Sara & the Team

Positive experience: Whilst paying at the checkout after a shop and chatting with the lovely lady on the til, I mentioned wanting to go swimming ‍♀️ but not looking forward to the half term mayhem at my local leisure centre. Fortunately, she suggested Meridian in Louth. Thankfully, we followed her advice, and all had a great time thanks to her suggestion, and we'll definitely visit again x

Fantastic experience: Fun good slides and I really enjoy swimming here. I was in swimming lessons here and also rookie lifeguards. Teaches you well and good instructors.

Fantastic experience: This gym trainer, think his name is george is the rizz master, bro all i see him doing is curling 500kg and then chatting up some random girl cause he’s just a beast, aspire to be george. Not to mention he’s very friendly and pushes everyone to their limits cause nobody wants to disappoint the rizzard of oz, give this guy a raise if he’s not already the owner of the whole building

Positive experience: Good gym, swimming pool is always very very busy. Great staff, but the opening times are terrible 6am in the week is just not early enough. They would have loads more member is they changed it to 5am so the working people could train before work. But apart for that it’s a great place

Positive experience: The pool itself is great and the staff are lovely. Not immaculate but it has heavy traffic so that's not expected. Baby pool is great for kids especially with the slides The cafe was good too The toys etc are quite expensive and no prices on them either which isn't ideal but overall it's a good pool to use

Fantastic experience: Very good center. As an Autistc man I struggle anywhere new and un-expected. My partner and I called up to understand the facilities and the staff where lovely and understanding towards us. Even when we arrived the reception team spotted our sunflower lanyards and where instantly aware we needed a little extra explaining and signposting where we where going (thank you). Yes in the pool I struggled with the amount of people, but the lifeguard was so understanding especially when my partner asked about the lanes. It's rare for us to find a location to go to, who really does understand Neurodiversity in general especially Autism. Thank you for a wonderfully supported experience and we will be back!

Negative experience: The changing rooms need a good overall. Childrens nappies left in one locker for 4 days. Obviously the teenagers they employ don’t know how to clean. Toilets smelly and disgusting, toilet paper all over the floor. Pool always freezing. We follow the smaller kids swimming lessons, and the poor kiddies look blue when they come out. One little lad was sobbing to come out of the pool dithering. The members area is just as bad.

Fantastic experience: Very good for kids and family

Positive experience: First time I've been. I went for a swim. The centre is really nice and new, the swimming pool is lovely, and the changing rooms are very clean. Staff were really friendly and professional. Reason for 4 star.... I went for a lane swim and there was only one lane. I expected slow, medium and fast lanes. I had to swim in the un laned part of the pool, and people were getting in the way, or vice versa. Half the pool was closed off for special people.

Positive experience: Wensday 1st June at football club need toilet I go get there find out girls toilets are out of order. Now 8th of June still out of order not good . For example what if a girl really really really needs the toilet she might wet her self and feel embarrassed.

Positive experience: Lovely place with friendly staff and lots to do for the whole family. The only down point is the baby changing facilities. Although they have baby changing in reception it is just a changing table with no toilet so attending alone with a baby means you either cannot go to the toilet while there or you have to attempt to hold your baby in your arms while going to the normal ladies toilet which is difficult to say the least. Unfortunately this is fairly common in a lot of places where lone parents are not catered for.

Positive experience: Turned up cant swim so went cleethorpes instead we go every week lovely pool. Cant comment on this pool as cant swim in the night with the family shame as it is alot closer

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and helpful at reception. It's a good size pool with a great area for young children to play and a flume. Plenty of changing rooms and lockers. Looked clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: A very clean swimming pool with friendly staff. The centre features a 25m main pool with a shallow end that can be changed in depth. Dedicated area for lane swimming is a regular feature and wristbands ensure a good amount of space to swim in. The kids pool features a play feature for smaller children with integral slides, and a larger slide for bigger children can be found at that end of the facility. Changing rooms are clean and dry. The staff have placed good Covid measures in place but they're not always adhered to by visitors. The cafe is what you'd expect from a swim centre cafe, with seating near a poolside window for parents to enjoy a coffee while the kids play, if that's your thing. Customers are encouraged to pre-book at the moment. All in all a great community swimming pool.

Positive experience: Ok and not too expensive for a swim while visiting the area. Couldn't understand why the slide was only open for 20mins per hour. Glad we booked first slot of the day

Fantastic experience: Took the family for a casual swim. Friendly staff, clean changing rooms and Swimming Pool. Wasn't overcrowded and had a good clear colour band guide to Swimmer's timings. The younger boys (aged 2 and 4) loved the pirate ship. Will hope to return in the future.
