Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished my second round of Josh’s 12 week program and enjoyed every second of it. I wasn’t the most confident with using gym equipment or being in the gym in general, but Josh was very attentive to cater to your specific fitness goals and was always there to answer any questions or issues i had. Compared to the start of the year, I feel so much happier with how I look and feel, and also a lot healthier after Josh’s nutritional advice too. I cannot recommend JDD enough - thanks so much Josh! ✨
Fantastic experience: JDD is a great environment to train for any person at any level. Josh has a built up a membership of like minded people who simply want to be fitter/ stronger but able to train in a gym where you are actively encouraged and supported by the other members rather than be in competition or be judged. Join JDD and you become part of a great group of people with a chance to mix both in training and socially.
Fantastic experience: Josh is one of the best PT's around and is very knowledagble, he is very understanding and creates fitness plans/nutrition plans tailored to you personally and the life you lead to make sure it is easy to stick to! If you're someone that has struggled and falls off a plan very easily then Josh is the person you need to contact! Very friendly & welcoming!
Fantastic experience: Been with JDD now for nearly 4 months, just completed a 12 week challenge. Josh is a brilliant trainer, he’s supportive but also motivational and pushes where he knows you can do more. His classes are great, they are never the same which keeps it interesting. The new gym is spacious but still intimate enough that you don’t feel lost. The 12 week challenge that Josh has developed is achievable and is something that can be followed afterwards. Josh has created a family of like minded people and a place which is much more than just a “gym”.
Fantastic experience: Having being diagnosed with a chronic illness in 2019 I fell out of enjoying exercise as every time I attempted something it would always trigger a flare of my condition. Last year I made the decision to try and get healthy again and was introduced to Josh by a friend. I have never been a typical gym-goer but working with Josh allowed me to regain my enjoyment of exercise and get back to a healthy weight. The sessions he puts on are both challenging yet rewarding and enjoyable, and the social aspect is also a great! Josh dedicates a lot of time and effort to all his clients, taking into consideration all their personal and individual needs and circumstances. If you’re looking for an instructor who is dedicated, professional and puts their clients first then JDD Fitness has everything you need!

Fantastic experience: Josh is an excellent, knowledgeable personal trainer and he has really changed my whole attitude towards fitness! In the past I had a membership at a commercial gym in the local area and I struggled so hard with motivation and found it so intimidating! At JDD fitness there is such a community feel and everyone supports eachother. The workouts are varied and exciting which really helps with that motivation. I never thought I would be someone who enjoys working out and fitness, but this is single handedly down to Josh and his passion for what he does. I would recommend anyone who wants to start their fitness journey.
Fantastic experience: Cannot fault Josh I’ve been completing a 12 week transformation and it’s all about changing your habits in a sustainable way without charging you extortionate prices. It’s clear that Josh has the knowledge and is alway on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble!

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Friendly, encouraging environment. Supportive, knowledgeable trainer. Not the largest training area, but perfect for sessions offered, and actually less intimidating than bigger corporate gyms. Recommend you try before looking elsewhere, you'll be very pleasantly surprised at the amount of variety there is. Also supporting a great charity, Yorkshire air ambulance, another reason to consider this fabulous little venue and trainer.
Fantastic experience: I've been inactive & in bad habits for a very long time so was apprehensive about starting in January. I'm now halfway through the 12 week transformation plan & so far I've lost around 10kg & hoping to lose more. Josh is very welcoming & knowledgable & has lots of support/fitness options for remote clients as well as 1to1s & group sessions at his gym. Advice/guidance covers fitness, nutrition, hydration, online community, group daily interaction, weekly check in & monthly team fitness events for a nominated cause. For anybody regardless of fitness levels I would definitely recommend Josh & JDD Fitness to create you a customised training plan to get results.

Fantastic experience: Josh is so professional and welcoming his gym is amazing also as a mum it’s difficult to exercise when I have children but I am lucky and grateful that Josh welcomes them along with me so I am able to continue to exercise. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic PT, knows everything about anything! Very welcoming environment, perfect for new comers but also perfect for people who have trained before. Currently part of Josh’s online coaching programme, and the endless amounts of support and encouragement is brilliant. The workout plans are specific to you and very adaptable, which is great for a busy work lifestyle. Would defiantly recommend to anybody wanting to change their lives.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a typical gym person, and I was very nervous the first time I went , but Josh was so welcoming and friendly as were the other gym goers, that I soon felt at ease, I love the classes as they are always different,so it's never boring! It's got a real community feel and I'm so happy come here and not some big souless commercial gym .
Fantastic experience: Signing up to the 12 week programme with Josh has changed my mindset on the gym and exercise massively. I always struggled with going to the gym and wondering what people thought of me. Josh made me feel comfortable and part of a family when joining JDD Fitness. He helped me with my diet and exercise, but most importantly my motivation and helping me be proud of what I can achieve. Never would I have thought I could have lost so much weight, but still enjoy pretty much every food I always would, and actually enjoy exercise! Thankyou Josh, and if I wasn’t flying across the world in January I would definitely be continuing the plan!
Fantastic experience: After a decade away from the gym, I started to attend classes at JDD, and then signed up to the September Shred to push myself. Josh and his members have welcomed me into their community. During this 12 week programme I have made great progress due to the knowledge, support and facilities provided by Josh, and found renewed motivation for my fitness journey. I have already signed up for the next version starting mid January!
Fantastic experience: I joined JDD Fitness in September and it's the best decision I've made! Josh is so friendly and knowledgeable, I feel as thought I've learnt so much in a short space of time during the 12 week plan I've been doing. Everyone at the gym is really friendly, and the sessions offer so much variety that I'm still trying new exercises - it's the first time I've properly stuck to a gym routine that I enjoy and felt comfortable in a gym setting, I'd 100% recommend JDD Fitness.
Fantastic experience: Not having exercised for a long time, I was apprehensive to say the least, but when I got to know Josh & what he was trying to instill into his gym I became fixed on building on my goals & pushing forward, harder than I’d tried before. The continued support outside of classes is the biggest positive to me, you just don’t get that time with a trainer at your usual gym. Josh is very proactive with his clients, in & out of the gymnasium environment & this sets him miles apart from other trainers. Every session is different & tailored to keep you focused on your goals. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough
Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend JDD Fitness, I was nervous about going to my first class on my own as in the past I had only attended group gym sessions with family or friends. There was no need for me to worry, Josh immediately put me at ease, with his friendly and approachable style. Josh is always on hand to answer questions via what’s app whatever time of day. Fantastic experience: I have been attending class at JDD for 10 months, and i really enjoy the groups atmosphere that has developed with other people over this time. We have a community where banter flows freely, and there is lots of laughter and encouragement from other gym members as well as Josh. Josh always gives full instructions and demonstrates all classes before we start, supervisors , and gives encouragement throughout. He is also my online coach who gives feedback on my weekly progress, which is always positive. Even when I feel rubbish, he always picks me back up We have a great community at the gym, and this is all down to Josh! If anyone is looking to make a change, this is definitely the place for you! People don't judge or make comments about anyone. We all just get on and have a laugh.

Fantastic experience: I recommend JDD if you want to improve your health and fitness. He is a friendly guy, flexible and pushes you without being pushy, which is just what I wanted. I have been having individual PT sessions and am happy with my progress. It is nice to be in a small quiet gym environment rather than a large gym.

Josh is friendly and professional and always willing to offer support and guidance in his field and to help continue your fitness experience in and out of the gym environment. His sessions are personalised and well prepared each week. Josh makes training fun and varied but also helps you to deliver the results you want. Fantastic experience: Josh is the absolute best! I was a beginner to exercise and thanks to him I now feel so much more confident and never thought I’d say it but I’m really enjoying exercise! He makes sure every session is different so he keeps it interesting , and he tailors it to your individual skill level. He does a variety from strength to HIIT sessions , to Legs bums and tums and stretchersize so there is something for everyone. He always welcomes you with a big smile on his face and you can tell he really loves what he does! I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else, couldn’t recommend him enough !

Fantastic experience: Going back to the gym after two babies was daunting but Josh made me feel so comfortable. I have set myself little fitness goals as we've gone along and Josh has helped me to achieve these. I have recommended Josh to friends and I know they are really happy with the support and guidance he provides. Josh has helped with much more than 'gym progress' and I have a better understanding of what my body needs in regards to fuel and rest. My confidence in my abilities and what i can achieve has also improved. Joining Josh's PT programme was the best decision I could have made for my own fitness journey.
