Fantastic experience: We go to the weekly slam session. Enjoy each one and it might actually be starting to make a difference. Kevin does a good job of pushing us without going too far. Discovered that I enjoy dead lifts.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic, friendly and welcoming space- for small groups or solo training. Strengthening body and mind, with support/encouragement from Jo and Kev. They don’t mind how often you need to ask what exercises are/look like, and are super helpful with any questions/queries. There are no mirrors, and no body-shaming or preening! All ages, shapes/sizes and experience levels are welcome. The support I have been given during my membership at Soma has been second to none- both from the staff and other gym users. A friendly, supportive community of members for training, and even socialising with! All with the common goal of improving physical and mental health. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant, no pressure to do things out of your comfort zone but everyone there makes it an incredibly safe feeling environment so when/if you choose to step out of your comfort zone it’s a good experience. Great place to go if normal gyms don’t feel comfortable for you. Very understanding of mental health issues and a very welcoming place if you’re lgbt+

Negative experience: Very unpleasant people. Will discriminate readily against anyone whose 'face doesn't fit'. Claim to champion mental health but all they champion is bullying and discrimination. Avoid at ALL costs!!
