Fantastic experience: Awesome swimming pool, clean.

Positive experience: Amazing place and as a disabled person greatfacilities. Great staff but unreliable technology never seen reception entry gates working

Negative experience: They never answer the phone after 8 calls over 2 days very disappointing

Positive experience: Very Impressed with the new leisure centre, great location and good variety of equipment. I went for a spin class y'day and some of the technical equipment didn't work. I'm sure that will be sorted soon. Otherwise very good.

Negative experience: If I could give minus I would. I work with children and the staff lack understanding both over the phone and in person. Whenever we are there the staff, lifeguards and reception, seem grumpy and as if they would rather be anywhere but here. Considering swimming pools are somewhere children like to go the staff seem to be impatient and lack the understanding that some children have specific emotional and physical needs that need patience and nurture. One time we were there and I child I was with dripped a crisp on the floor. I was about to ask them to pick it up and a female staff member snapped 'pick that up because I don't want to have to hoover ' this really upset the child as they hadn't even noticed it and would have picked it up had they noticed. Really upset me to see people treat people this way and I cannot put into words the way it effects certain children. Absolutely fed up of the bad service and I think it's a shame that they are one of 2 local pools offering 'fun swims' as I would rather go somewhere else but don't want the children to miss out on opportunities to have fun.

Positive experience: There used to be hooks to hang towels above the radiator, when showering. No longer there.

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly and helpful and the equipment in the gym is in perfect condition - despite what somebody put in a review that the equipment is old and rusty (?) it would be difficult to find even a inch of rust anywhere! I thoroughly enjoy my visits to this gym

Positive experience: My Husband who has "Parkinson's has been going to the " Blue Pool," Melksham for Several years NOW! He gets great benefit from the special "Aqua Fit" on Thursdays which has become SO popular ,that they have TOO many Disabled Clients for him to get in every Week! Please can they have 2 Sessions for this! He cannot get in this week and I cannot book him in for Next Week Either !! Please Help!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has swimming lessons here and they are absolutely fantastic with her. The teacher really encourages her to overcome her fears and push herself. She also makes it really fun and easy to follow. She seems to know every child's weaknesses and strengths. I am annoyed at myself for not knowing the instructors name! But she is worth her weight in gold!

Fantastic experience: Joined at the beginning of January to improve my fitness. it can get busy on occasion and tend to swim diagonally more than straight to avoid people having fun but not an issue. staff are friendly and the pool is a good size. It would be nice to see longer swim times especially Thursday evening after working hours, but other than that I would highly recommend.

Positive experience: Easy to park, small but good gym, the Pilates coaches are very good.

Negative experience: The changing rooms looks like 50 years ago , and the smell is disgusting. Really dirty and no sanitised , taking in consideration that a lot of children’s are using this.

Negative experience: Filthy change rooms, always too hot. They only ever have 1 swimming lane open, one other lane is for lessons and the other half of the pool is for people to splash around. Which basically means that there are heaps of people swimming in the one lane. Lifeguards are useless and never keep people in check for being idiots in the pool.

Negative experience: Brilliant swimming lessons absolutely filthy disgusting changing rooms. Consider wearing socks to the pool!

Negative experience: Dirty and rusted facilities and poor customer service - would highly recommend that you look elsewhere. The gym equipment is minimal, rusted and very dated. The changing room conditions are woeful, the showers featuring a delightful congealed sludge of hair and dust around the drain, and the floor is incredibly hazardous and slippery. Told we were able to enter the pool at 12:25 (there’s a old persons swim from 11:00-12:30) as the pool had essentially emptied. Upon beginning our swim, we were tracked down by a very abrasive staff member who scorned us for entering the pool. When told it was her colleague who had allowed us entry, we received no apology for her unnecessary tone - dreadful attitude. We will not be returning and I implore you to get your fitness needs elsewhere!

Positive experience: Lovely huge 33m pool, never seen it ridiculously busy, staff all seem nice, could REALLY do with another disabled or family changing room. The changing rooms are spacious with a large open area but only a couple of cubicles, hairdryers, showers etc. The only thing that lets it down is the changing room hygiene doesn't smell great, always smells slightly of wee as the toilets are joined on!!!

Negative experience: Could really do with a fan pointed at spectators during swimming lessons, they don't seem to have the big doors open anymore making it like a sauna in there. Seriously considering moving pools because of this.

Positive experience: A nice pool with friendly staff and a small but well equipped gym. Wheel chair accessible.

Negative experience: My son goes to swimming lessons there. Groups are too big (12 children in my son's group) per instructor. Lessons are only 30 mins long, so that would work out to less than 3 minutes of one-on-one per child per week. Also, the changing rooms and toilets are not very clean

Positive experience: Went for a "fun" session. Quite a few large flat floats but fun police wouldn't allow balls. Changing room is a little small and hot but clean. Showers worked fine. There are lockers but I tend to put kit on a chair next to the pool.

Positive experience: Staff are pleasant. .pool clean..updating review due to the price of booking a swimming session is unfair. A family of 2 are charged the same price as a family of 5 , as you have to book a block of 5. Completely unfair. Making the most of charging through summer holidays.
