Positive experience: Great for football

Fantastic experience: Sauna and steam room are decent, gym is good but a bit tired looking.

Positive experience: Went to aqua aerobics for the first time, good class but let down by women who got in to talk rather than exercise!!!! Could not it hear the instructor!! So annoying - go for coffee to natter

Positive experience: Great place to work out. Friendly and helpful staff. Getting a bit dated now though. The location of the sauna is odd as it is located a good distance away and if you want a swim you have to gain access to the pool via a public corridoor.

Fantastic experience: Much cheaper than Cardiff pools, family fun session on a Sunday morning was warm with an inflatable slide. Kids loved it.

Negative experience: Late to get on badminton court as not set up due to overrunning karate. Then asked to go before our time as it was booked out.

Negative experience: Unfortunately they wouldn't let me go to the sauna and stream room as a 17 year old. Pathetic staff that don't know the law.

Positive experience: The staff are helpful and friendly however emergency fire doors are left open by people leaving and entering and bragging about coming in for free staff don't care when you tell them disgraceful.

Fantastic experience: I love it! I would never have thought that I would go in for sports, but the trainers there are very motivating to maintain a healthy and beautiful body! It's a pleasure to work out at the Caerphilly leisure centre!

Fantastic experience: Only cost £3.60 to go swimming as my son is under 4. We used the small pool. They had various toys available, which he loved. The changing rooms were clean.

Negative experience: I take the kids to the pool. The pool does not have any attractions such as slides for children. It is an old fashion swimming pool. There should be more attractions at the pool, such as slides, jacuzzi. Unfortunately there is nothing. It's boring and it's a pity because there would be more customers, especially on rainy days

Negative experience: This Leisure Centre is very outdated 2024 your gym is not a lot of equipment and the membership way too much money I rather off going to Caerphilly Pure Gym I would give it no stars for any of the stuff you can do in the gym in the Caerphilly Leisure really think they should close it and every member who goes to the gym should go to Pure Gym so I would recommend everybody to go to the Pure Gym because the people who work there are more sociable and the very nice to you and Pure Gym is open 24 hours

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Great, upbeat and challenging instructor. Aqua Aerobics was a terrific workout and great fun Great disabled facilities, shower was only hot or cold, no in between. But I didn't mind it so much. I like a cool shower anyway. The drain didn't clog up leaving so my feet weren't left in a nasty swamp. A+++ overall

Positive experience: Very busy in the pool, with two lanes being used for swimmers, not enough room for us to join, and loads of kids in the main pool, again not enough room for us to enjoy a swim, so just bobbed around a bit and had a few half lengths this time

Fantastic experience: Went swimming here. Friendly reception staff. Very clean, light and spacious changing area, cubicles, toilets, showers. Cash and contact less Healthy Vending machines. Deep end 2 metres and shallow end 0.9 metres. 25 metre length pool. Small pool next to main pool, 0.9 - 0.4 metres depth. Great for little ones.

Positive experience: Parking was an issue, Venue was spacious and i enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, everything clearly signposted, Staff were friendly although at times looked frantic - all vending machines out of order so unable to get a cold or hot drink on my visit

Fantastic experience: I have been using the gym and swimming pool. Seems to be running well. It seems clean and Covid restrictions seemed to be enforced. The staff are still very friendly and helpful. Swimming has been really enjoyable because there is so uch room to swim. Perhaps booking in could be kept for that. No on chatting in the middle of the pool getting in the way..

Fantastic experience: It's good but it's small and run down. Sounds like they're going to be building a new one - that's a good move.

Negative experience: Typical of Caerphilly council to have one of the worst gyms around. I guess the health and wellbeing of its residents isn't a priority. What do they actually do? They offer no meaningful services, The roads are dangerously under maintained, affordable housing is non existent and council tax keeps on going up. Back to the leisure centre... The gym is very small and cramped, and the whole facilitiy is not clean enough The pool is never open and the last time I went into the steam room I was nearly sick because of the smell. The car park is not fit for purpose, the staff are miserable and no staff are on the ball to prevent unsafe training. Members aren't friendly, the cafe is overpriced and in general there's nothing more than bog standard activities offered. Avoid this gym.

Positive experience: A great leisure centre and good value for money - however the gym gets very busy at peak times and sometimes there are no machines left to use. The swimming pool times on weekday evenings could be better as well

Positive experience: Really good facility in a good position easy to get to but as more and more are using it for classes it does need a bigger carpark as they are parking on the road making difficult to get passed if your pushing a pushchair,classes and the gym are getting busier which is great just book a class or choose a quieter time

Positive experience: Great facilities for a very reasonable monthly fee. Gym equipment is old but works well enough. Spa area with sauna and steam room is great, they're always working well, and nice and hot. Haven't been to many classes but hear good things. Oh and their squash courts aren't too bad either!

Negative experience: Staff are great. The facilities I can't complain about but this lesuire centre is in much needed renovation. Very out dated. Looks like a metal shack from the outside, car park needs to be resurfaced. Seating area to watch your childeren in swimming lessons is terrible.

Negative experience: Wouldn't let me take my baby into pool with just water Nappy and swimsuit. She needed to have a reusable swimming Nappy. So weren't allowed in.
