Negative experience: Jacuzzi hasn't been working for months, it leaks almost every night. it has been hot about 10 times in the last 6 months. Staff and management know but are unable to do anything as it probably need replacing the owners really need to look into this.

Fantastic experience: I'm here nearly every day for the gym and the pool , it's very good value for money and has every thing you need

Positive experience: A good sized pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as Turkish steam room. But didn't use the up to date gym. As an amputee found it easy to get round all amenities except for the gym which is up two flights of stairs.

Positive experience: Could be cleaner as I am not sure how the pool cleanse it self. As everyday member of pool at Better, I could always smell Cl even after having a shower. In this pool I cant see incoming fresh water neither I smell or can smell Cl in the pool

Negative experience: Membership cancelled, way to overpriced (£40 a month!) for poor standard equipment (leg press seems to be always broken). Also always seems to be packed due to its size, not worth it overall

Positive experience: Poor maintainance of equipment. Only two cross trainers one has been out of action for weeks. Two of the rowing machines not working properly. Both reported to staff who's attitude was apathetic to say the least

Negative experience: cancelled my membership in the last 6 months at this place as they simply don’t care - leg press machine been broken for months .. why ?? Lockers all knackered, and reception staff super miserable . this place could be great but pay a little more and get a lot more at BANATYNES

Positive experience: The changing room could do with a spring clean and the lockers some TLC

Positive experience: Went with my 8 year old so his views incorporated. Rough round the edges, swearing in changing rooms unacceptable in front of kids. Son didn't like lack of cubicles but that's purely his preference. Pool nice and warm but general upkeep like the hotel I guess. Probably a good example of getting what you pay for.

Positive experience: Staff are friendly, good size swimming pool available. Gym can be hit and miss depending on how busy it is as it does have a smaller weight section than most. But I did quit here to join another gym and came back as this one seemed to be less busy even with the limitations of space. Has a water cooler, free weight section, machines and a sauna also with decent changing rooms.

Positive experience: Good little gym with all the equipment you need. Very quiet too which is always nice when you want to just go workout and not have to wait for what you want to use.

Positive experience: Great pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Not too busy. Excellent value for money membership deals. A little tired in places, could do with some modernisation, but for the price you can put up with that.

Negative experience: Not happy with being told we can't use the pool as it's been booked for the Canadian women's football team disgraceful would rather upset and prioritise over members who pay all year round and not just a one off. Should of been informed by email at the very least and I will expect the extra days to be added to my current membership for any days I'm unable to use all the facilities

Positive experience: Only use the pool from around 7.30am. Nice to swim in 25m pool. Could do with dividing into 3 lanes - walking, slow swimming, fast swimming (which is where I'll be )

Negative experience: The equipment is old and needs repair/replace. The steam room has been out of use for 3 weeks to date. The sauna is only just back in action however has been unusable three times since September. The classes are full so must be good but there is no way to tell as the classes are not enough. The changing rooms are not cleaned to high standard.

Positive experience: This is the second time I’ve been a member of this gym. I came back because I like how much quieter it is compared to some of the bigger gyms in the area and it also gives you access to a pool and sauna. The gym itself is more than adequate and there is enough equipment to suit most people. The staff have always been polite to me although I havnt spoken to them a great deal. The gym is open from early until late through the week (5.45-22.00) which is great for me because I work 12 hour shifts. My one complaint is that the changing rooms could do with updating, there are no cubicles and a communal shower in the men’s changing rooms, also you need to purchase a padlock to use with the lockers. +ves Quieter gym Less intimidating than some gyms Always clean Opens early -ves Lack of privacy in changing rooms It’s located a bit out of the way

Negative experience: The staff in this establishment at the front of house dealing with clients, and speak to clients in a very condescending manner need to brush up on their customer service skills. VERY unprofessional and even worse when they shout at a young client simply in front of other psying clients because they are only 18 and again think this is acceptable. Would advise anyone thinking of joining this gym to AVOID AVOID AVOID...worse than rubbish although quick to debit your account.
