Fantastic experience: After having a knee surgery and being referred to the gym by my physio it's not some I have ever done I'm not a gym type of person but I'm absolutely enjoying it and feeling much better every time I'm finished my session and it's really helping my knee get mobile and after my last visit to the physio she was really happy with how it's going

Positive experience: The staff are friendly, the equipment is clean, only downfall is the opening hours.. Needs to be a 24/7 gym like Pure Gym to let people come and go as they please. Also, the swimming membership should already be included into the £21.99 per month fee. Slash your prices, and more folk will be inclined to go.

Fantastic experience: My son attends here for a Taekwondo class. The staff are always so lovely. The place is well maintenance and clean. The times we are in the pool always looks busy too. A great thing to have in the community.

Negative experience: Swimming pool looking in need of modernising, with some broken or missing tiles showing. Sad that it's being let down like this as it is a cracking pool to take kids too.

Positive experience: Went swimming, very friendly staff , perfect sized pool for out family. Wasn't the cleanest but was definitely not filthy.

Fantastic experience: I took my granddaughter and her friend to Shotts leisure centre to learn her to swim and also so that they can have a bit of fun. They both had a lot of fun and they want to come back . The staff are very helpful and good with the kids

Negative experience: Went n could get into swimming ...shut in 10 min... could get into sauna....folk want a swim after sauna..total waste of my time n petrol

Negative experience: I think the whole leisure centre is needing an upgrade and repair. One of the showers at pool side does not work properly. Some locks in the changing area dont work or are missing entirely. Tiles are off the walls in the area under the bubble pool. I attend every morning and most of the changing areas have so much water in them. Maybe they could be mopped on a regular basis. Certainly disagree with the rating. Think it should be maybe 2 stars at a push.

Fantastic experience: Daughter attends Saturday club here and she absolutely loves it,staff are always welcoming and raring to go credit to staff all young and doing Saturdays working with kids

Positive experience: Needs improvements. It's outdated and lacks a lot of things eg new hair dryers, more cardio equipment, toilet renovated etc On the plus side staff are very nice.

Negative experience: This centre needs a cafe every other leisure centre has one this would probably bring in more customers.

Positive experience: My girls Do there swim lessons here and the teacher is fab, but on the other hand the prices are crazy dear and to go a swim for 45 minutes it's way to expensive

Positive experience: Great place for a swim but South Lanarkshire pools are cheaper for family swim. Just short of half the price.

Fantastic experience: Nice quiet gym facilities

Positive experience: Had a thoroughly enjoyable swim here with my grandson. Facilities were all in good working order and the pool was not overcrowded. Whilst I did not get to see the gym area I understand that it is well equipped. Monthly membership is recommended as casual use is rather expensive (said as a visitor whose currency is at 18:1 to the pound).

Positive experience: Its ok, not the most amazing swimming pool, but functional for a quick swim with kids each week. Water isnt too deep which is good for younger kids.

Negative experience: Work collection, never used facilities.

Negative experience: Spent £200k on renovation and the pool is still disgusting and dirty with tide marks.

Positive experience: This place is very good for leisure but needs a bit of improvement on the building, it’s not very nice to look at so probably needs some shifting up

Fantastic experience: Nice friendly staff ,went into the reception paid for two to go swimming ,then went to the changing rooms which is for all. Then you have to go for a shower before going swimming ,you will have to have a token or an old pound coin for the lockers . Thanks for reading my review Thanks Ian

Positive experience: Not the best in Lanarkshire but still good for the area, pool water temperature always a bit cold, small kids can't last more than 1/2 hour. Recently furnished gym and SPA, decent classes you can check them online. The jacuzzi needs a proper refurb water is not warm at all

Positive experience: Pool, sauna, steam room, gym, sports hall and aerobics room not bad for a wee town. It's not perfect, but it's great to have here in Shotts.

Fantastic experience: Love the fact that it is quite small and has different rooms so you don't have to feel self conscious with large groups. Staff and patrons are all very friendly and supportive. Wouldn't have managed my 3 stone weight loss without them.
