Positive experience: Boys loved it

Negative experience: Terrible place to go not allowed to wear goggles with a nose cover and they make you buy nose plugs and goggles wouldn’t ever go again 2/10

Positive experience: Swimming pools where fine, outside pool was warm. Toilet and changing facilities are a big let down as they reek of piss (pee) and fish. Had to shower outside but change and dry inside and felt dirty after because of the stench of the toilets and changing cubicles. Not happy and unsatisfied customer

Negative experience: Smelled like I was swimming in a public toilet. The changing room smells like nappy bins haven't been changed in weeks! Awful definitely won't be back The outside pool was OK and the staff were friendly. But I felt so sick due to the smell I couldn't enjoy it.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and much better than I was expecting. Private changing areas, lockers and individual showers. The pool was a little shorter in length than the one I used previously but not a negative!

Negative experience: Only booked here because pool at Butlins is shut. £5 each regardless of age. Wanted early but could only book for 2pm. Was led to believe all other times were booked, seeing as it opens at 6am. No! Not the case. Talking to other swimmers, they were turned away at 11 and told to come back at 2, they arrived at 2.30 and paid £20 for 4 and told had to be out for 3?? Flume is shut!! No mention of thos on website. Juts a note on desk at reception! Changing rooms absolutely disgusting. Crumbs, chip, and fruit peel on floor. Only 8 people in including us. Avoid those place.

Positive experience: Great gym but it's a bit small and lacks some equipment.

Positive experience: Life guard was a jobsworth. Showers were scolding hot. We didn't feel we could have fun in anyway because we were being watched so closely.

Negative experience: Absolutley disgusted..pre booked pre paid...got here early could not find ANY parking that wouldn't take 30mins walking for me as iam disabled...phone to ask if I could move the booking forward 30mins to be refused and pretty much told toug luck...we still had 60mins left of our booking at the time of my call. ruined my grandsons day I need to add that the lady I spoke to said I was unable to change the time AT ALL and certainly did not ask me for a time I could arrive...had she of done that I would of asked for just 30mins for me to be able to park and walk to the venue...again she told me this was not pissible from a kidds holiday

Negative experience: Just wondering if the staff know how to answer the phone?? App does not work and booking through your website is impossible.

Fantastic experience: BRILLIANT TIME WITH THE KIDS. LIFEGUARDS ARE KEEN. REASONABLY PRICED. OUTDOOR POOL IS NICE AND WARM.

Negative experience: We are so disappointed with our experience this morning! I've never been to a 'family fun session' that has lacked so much fun! The lifeguards are power mad, we were constantly whistled at for the silliest of things. One example being "don't put a float on your head". My 12 year old was watched by 2 to 3 lifeguards for about 15 mins, swimming back and forth in the deep end. To be then told he wasn't a confident swimmer as he held on to the side at one point. Any idea how intimidating that is for a 12 year autistic child! One young female lifeguard had a serious attitude problem! And we were restricted to the shallow end, we were all cramped at one side, because they have such an issue with floaters in the deep end! Slide wasn't open, outdoor pool was closed. What a bore fest!

Negative experience: Go elsewhere to avoid disappointment! We were extremely disappointed with our visit to this swimming pool which was both uncomfortable and unsafe! We booked online for a session which was supposed to include indoor and outdoor swimming pool use. On arrival, we were the only family in the reception area yet the 3 reception staff were all busy doing admin meaning that by the time we were finally seen to and able to enter the changing rooms, we were already late for the start of our swim session. Only after entering were we told that the outdoor pool had a boiler issue so it wasn’t in use. We already thought it was unfair to be paying full price when the flume is broken, so to also now not have access to the outdoor pool and still have to pay full price was absurd- we still entered the pool as we did not want to let our children down who were already dressed and expecting swimming. The worst however was to come. Due to the outdoor pool being closed, the indoor pool was extremely cramped and felt unsafe. As our 2 children are so young, we were restricted to the shallow end of the pool and it was absolutely heaving. There was also a lane blocked off making the pool area even smaller. We had to leave early as our youngest child was feeling very uncomfortable and would have attempted to get a refund from the front desk if it wasn’t absolutely packed when we were leaving and we just wanted to get out of there and not waste any more of our holiday here. We have emailed to complain but have not heard back. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: This is a fantastic pool if you like rules. Lots of rules. Indoor pool, you’re only allowed in a space the size of a postage stamp even if your kids have inflatables and even though they’re with an adult and they have 2 lifeguards

Positive experience: Friendly staff, outdoor pool lovely and warm, nice that you can use both indoor and outdoor on one booking. Changing rooms need a deep clean but not too bad.

Negative experience: Horrible experience,11 of us went, 9 went in to swim, 2 including myself just sat on a bench, had to wait ages to get checked in as there was someone infront holding the queue up, both staff seemed oblivious and offered no apology for the wait, we asked if we had to pay to watch, lady said no so we went to sit down, then went back in for over priced goggles (£10)to be told by someone else that it was 2.65 each to just sit on a bench, even though we'd been told we didnt have to pay, zero communication skills amongst staff, never again

Negative experience: So we went swimming today first time useing the Skegness pool and it looked fun said it had a pirate ship and flume slide for the kids to use. No sign of a pirate ship and the flume is out of order and has been for quite some time we booked two adults and two children over 5 all tickets the same price. When we got to the pool the changing rooms where dirty and smelt bad got changed went to the pool started in the outside pool but was abit chilly (weathers fault that ) so we went inside what was really busy we got in nice and warm 3 lanes for swimming and the rest open to everyone but if you have children with you your not allowed to use the deeper side of the pool so it was packed in the shallow end you couldn't move let alone swim 3 life guards but not allowed to use half the pool due to health and safety spoke to staff and they couldn't care less but moaned enough for them to remove a swimming lane if I was you don't bother save your money and go to fairy dell

Positive experience: If your taking your baby id make sure you go with atleast anither person to get out if thw pool and tell you when a changing room is free. Took my 4 month old daughter swimming for the first time today. Everything went very smoothly, pool was a nice enough size and had an outdoor pool aswell as an indoor slide but it wasn't currently in use. Water was nice and warm. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because if the lack of baby changing facilities. There was only 2 baby changing rooms available out of all the locker room. Once we got out and took the pram and bags to go and get changed, both changing rooms was taken. One of which was by a single man on his own, instead if using the regular changing room, we had to stand there for 15mins waiting until he finishes all whist our daughter is screaming crying because she's starting to get cold. So if you so decide to go, make sure you get somebody to check there's a room free before you all get out.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent facility. The outdoor pool is great, heated and is a good size. The reception staff are incredibly helpful. Downside, some of the 'lifeguards' are officious and whistle happy. In saying that the female lifeguard in the indoor pool at 9.30am, 21st August was professionalism personified. It's worth a visit.

Negative experience: Outdoor pool lovely and warm, kids loved it, indoor pool ok. On the minus side, ( big massive minus), the changing rooms absolutely stank of urine, so much so that it made me gip, and son-in-laws towel that dropped on the floor stank the car out on the way home. The toilets were filthy too. We did report it to manager who said it would be dealt with but not convinced.

Positive experience: Disappointed! Been coming here every year whilst on holiday. This time I had to pay to be a spectator, £2.40 to watch my children swim! Pool was cold, not heated like usual, and no music, energy from the staff like the past. Also seesions now 60 minutes from 90 minuts. Felt ripped off! Also £2.00 for a sun lounger , that were free before.

Positive experience: Decent pool. Love the outdoor heated one yet the indoor pool felt a bit dark and not like we were meant to be there. The lifeguards are vigilant and I love that fact that you can use inflatables. :D

Positive experience: Need more staff to deal with busy summer holidays

Negative experience: Probably the poorest pool complex I've attended. £30 for a family of four just to splash around in the outdoor pool when the kids could have done that for free down the road. The indoor pool isn't open for general swimming so you won't be able to use the deep end or slide. Showers weren't working inside the changing rooms and a good 90% of locker keys don't have bands on them to secure them to your person. Tried to do a bit of lane swimming in the lane that was roped off but apparently that's a blind spot for the guards so even that isn't permitted. I recommend paddling in the pools down the road or going in the sea and spending the money on a Full English afterwards.

Negative experience: The chlorine was well strong and didn’t come out of my eyes until Next day really strong I recommend bringing Google’s

Negative experience: People may think this review is unfair as we never actually went swimming here, but that's not our fault! We tried booking here twice and got turned away both times as you couldn't actually book at the front desk! At first, we got told to book online, which we thought fair enough, but when I got onto the app to book, it wanted to know ALL of our personal details! Ridiculous just to go swimming for an hour

Positive experience: The staff on site are very helpful despite reduced sessions and Covid restrictions. The website is an awful user experience. Updated timetables aren't clear. Instructions are to use online booking. Which requires an account, with no way to create a new one. There is no receptionist on the phones at Skegness so you might be lucky and get through to their Central booking. In short, go to the office in Skegness to book. This week sessions are outdoor pool only. And for the regular Senior Citizens... There's no dedicated swimming lane (there were 4 there today who weren't impressed)

Positive experience: The Fitness suit is great, have been going since it opened. The pools are excellent, but while under restrictions, the indoor pool gets overcrowded on the adults only swim at 0730. We manage but when there are more than sixteen in your dodging left & right to avoid collision.v

Fantastic experience: 3 years on, and I still think it's a great venue Flantastic venue. An outdoor pool open in the summer holidays and a nice indoor pool with a flume. A fantastic gym. Lots.of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. Different water aerobics, gym classes, yoga etc. If your a member you also benefit from a 2 hour parking permit

Fantastic experience: We love spending a couple of hours here, lovely heated pool can spend 2 hours in the water easy without getting out, nice and clean round the pool, always 2 lifeguards on duty so feel fairly confident to let the kids just please themselves and if the weather stays sunny it's a bonus.

Positive experience: For Swimming - Pool was warm enough, family of 4 cost £25 plus £1 per hour to park . It seems the morning swim is only outside as the indoor pool was shut. Kids had a couple of hours of play before getting bored.

Fantastic experience: As usual very good. The gym instructor/ lifeguards and reception etc do a very good job. They are all very helpful.

Fantastic experience: The aqua aerobics is really good. Well recommended. There are also a good mixture of classes, eg. Yoga, zumba, yogalates, aquajog and clubbercise. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel part of a team. Just lately it is very hard to get into the classes. You have to book about 7am to get a spot in the classes and the aqua. It seems to be full all the time.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! Very well maintained. Very busy, during summer season it's always wise to book a slot beforehand for the pools as they fill up to full capacity very quickly. This is monitored strictly. Lifeguards are friendly, firm but fair. Yours and your family's safety is their first priority. Food is available to purchase poolside. Also blow up rings and other flotation aids are available to purchase. We visit throughout the year, year after year. A wonderful place to make some magical memories. Who doesn't love Skegness?
