Fantastic experience: Always a good place for local people to get fit and stay fit while enjoying a good variety of sports. The staff are knowledgeable so are available to give good advice about health and fitness. Being part of Magna Academy school, it is mostly not available during the day but evenings and weekends are fully available for everything from badminton, tennis and squash to basketball, trampolining or five aside football. It’s very much part of the local community and valued by the same.

Fantastic experience: Lovely small gym and has all I need to exercise well and efficiently. Great and friendly team and fantastic people around. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Great reception team who are always smiling and happy to help. Really enjoy the classes, great value for money. Changing rooms could do with some TLC

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible gym, full of flies and bugs. The place is filthy and the staff are rude.

Negative experience: Such a terrible gym if you’re actually interested in getting big in terms of muscle mass, they only have 3 benches and it’s always painful to get one during peak hours but have about 20 cardio machines which are barely ever used, you always have to make popular machines yourself ie; preacher curl machines because their gym facilities are so bad, and the machines they do have are terrible as they’re technogym and take forever to be fixed, I would highly recommend you’d never go

Fantastic experience: Just popped in to drop off my daughter who was playing hockey but have to admit that I was impressed by the facilities they have a gym sauna 3 swimming pool. One for swimming one for learning and the last one for diving, make me wish that I lived there

Fantastic experience: At the gym I recieved very helpful advice about how to progress in training safely and effectively, Micheal was easy to understand and offered great insight into the questions I had around specific exercises and form. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The worst hockey pitch ever can't even drag the ball without the ball getting trapped under your stick. Home field advantage is a major winning factor for Poole Hockey Club

Negative experience: The entire center is unclean and there is no cleaning staff. Issue raised with management multiple times, though management don't improve standards. The sports hall and equipment is filthy

Fantastic experience: My daughter started gymnastics 2 weeks ago really shy clingy daughter who freaked at thought of me even sitting outside the doors and cried like mad but after the first lesson and the girls being so sweet and patient and encouraging literally 2nd lesson went running in without thought boosted her confidence and she loved the teachers thoroughly recommend them andrea's sky high gymnastics club

Positive experience: Average leisure centre nothing special. Generally clean and easy to park. We use the hall for football which is ok apart from the weeks they forget to unlock it which can be an annoying delay. Otherwise staff are usually friendly and willing to help.

Negative experience: The incompetency of the staff here boggles my mind. I have had 3 seperate instances with 3 seperate employees where they either did not have the slightest idea how to use the computer system, made me fill out a form that they proceeded to lose, or simply stared at me blankly without the slightest idea of how to solve the simplest issues. Save your money and go somewhere else because aside from the fact that any classes you hope to attend will almost certainly be booked, you will spend more time toiling with staff at reception than actually exercising.

Positive experience: For a local sports centre it saddens me deeply its over priced, and under used. Makes me think that there is more than meets the eye afoot with this business. Staff were grand, and a little cooperation pecked down though. Only time will tell, but something is occurring.

Fantastic experience: Joined up as I had to work in the area over the Olympics this is a very nice centre, staff are trained and helpful don't mind giving advice or spotting you, the gym is well equipped and clean Matt was very helpful and runs a great class!
