Negative experience: Repete not been there?

Fantastic experience: Great range of activities, plus a gym and sauna and steam room, all under one roof. Soon to close for refurbishment and will be sorely missed by regular users.

Positive experience: Perfectly adequate facilities, but closing from 12th Feb until December due to "renovation". Removing gym, sauna and steam room despite regular usage and with NO consultation with the user community at large. Very sad for many of us.

Fantastic experience: Diss Leisure Centre is a fantastic place to unwind. The spacious pool provides a relaxing experience, and the steam room and sauna add to the overall relaxation. The gym, while compact, is efficiently equipped for a good workout. One notable aspect is the excellent cleanliness throughout the facility, which enhances the overall experience. The staff is consistently present and incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.

Fantastic experience: Went for a workout good range of equipment plus a 25 meter pool.

Fantastic experience: Really surprised with the standard of the pool. We visited for our first time today and staff were friendly, changing rooms spotless, no horrible smells and the pool levels got tested twice while we were there. Looking forward to going again.

Positive experience: This would have got higher but me and my wife have drove to diss on several occasions to find they have either recently changed the time table shut it because short staffed shut it because of this that and the other it's happened 6 times now and it's a 30min drive the website doesn't update on changes like that.

Fantastic experience: Decent gym now it's all done up , plenty of equipment and is nice and quiet.. no grunting roid heads ego lifting and pacing around like idiots

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, always lovely and clean, staff are friendly. Accessible hours for using the pool, and it’s never ‘too’ busy. The sauna and steam room as always kept clean too, as well as the changing rooms. The gym isn’t the biggest, but so far I haven’t struggled to find space on any of the equipment. I’ve visited both early morning and late evening and there is always room to use what you would like. Occasionally we’ve had to wait long periods of time to speak to a member of staff at the front desk (usually when having difficulty using the access fob), but it’s usually because staff are busy helping elsewhere, rather than neglecting duties etc. Overall lovely and friendly, would recommend.

Positive experience: We use the pool here occasionally. It's not the best. I checked online to makesure the pool was open and turned up with my daughter to find out they had in fact had to shut the pool due to staff shortages. I emailed the night before to double check you didn't have to pre book and that email was answered a few days later. Unfortunately it seems lacking in organisation at the moment. Probably better if you're taking a little one in the learner pool or just lane swimming.

Fantastic experience: Swim here at least 3 times a week and the pool and changing rooms are clean. Staff are constantly cleaning the shower areas and are really nice. Pool is a good size and very deep at one end.

Negative experience: Clean pool, friendly staff, good facilities. Enjoy going for a swim here. Editing my review to say that for some strange reason they have decided to get rid of the gym, sauna and steam room as part of the refurbishment… bit weird if you ask me. Won’t be going now. Shame because it was a decent centre and close by.

Positive experience: It's a nice facility and pool. The swim instructors are awesome and have really made a massive impact on my kids ability to swim. It's a shame that they make so many administrative errors and team who work the desk are not particularly helpful.

Negative experience: Learner pool was cold and changing rooms were freezing. My poor 6 month old baby had purple feet when we got out after 30 mins. Covid regulations were managed well but staff were rather rude.

Fantastic experience: I Love the new (Covid Restricted) gym sessions. You have to book your slot, which guarantees you'll not get a crowded session where everyone is always on the kit you want to use. Its quiet and organised, and everyone is actually cleaning up after themselves after each session. Im Love it!!

Positive experience: It's OK for the kids swimming on a Saturday to get them out but not a great choice of adult facilities, lots of money was spent at Long Stratton & Wymondham leisure centres but what was done at diss ? A new reception area !,,,,,,,, great for us here

Fantastic experience: Lovely small gym!

Negative experience: Just got back from a swimming session where I was told to leave pool 5mins early so they could set up for aquafit. Staff are great and friendly but all prices are too expensive for size and facilities. Gym is small and basic so fine if no more than about five other people in. Swimming pool has too few public swims - lucky to get an hour at a convenient time yet they charge a monthly fee higher than most private gyms where facilities are so much better. They can do this as they have a monopoly as there is no other pool within 20 miles. They say use long Stratton and wymondham aswell but they are 10 and 20 miles away and you have to pay extra!. It's meant to be a council run centre accessible for all and prices should reflect this.

Positive experience: Too small for Diss. The city is growing quick and there is not enough places and spaces for everyone who is interested.

Negative experience: Dirty changing rooms, tiny pool and poor facilities.

Positive experience: Fun aqua fit! Need a place for shoes so they don't rubbish the floor and bring in dirt.

Fantastic experience: Modern facilities. Lots of gym equipment. Free personal fitness assessment and plan. Only £10 to join and £7 (when I last went) per each use of gym.

Positive experience: Decent pool, but for some reason they won't allow training fins. Gym rather small and no space for floor work. Staff seen v friendly and efficient. Pricing of annual membership competitive.

Fantastic experience: It's is an amazing place to swim

Positive experience: I go for a swim most days (about a kilometer a day) the pool attendants are very observant and helped me a great deal when I was quite unwell last year, and always keep an eye on me. If I have a question they will find the answer.
