Fantastic experience: VERY HELPFULL STAFF.

Negative experience: 12 o'clock, to many people. No Smith machine, and missing many others. Basically, if are 2 people having chest in same time 1 must wait for the other one. Plenti of bikes and treadmills nobody use it. The price, Jesus, so expensive for what offer. It rains inside. Is just a big penthouse with some weights inside.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and nice and quiet at times. Pool could be a bit warmer sometimes. Nice town leisure centre.

Negative experience: The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. But I do feel the temperature of both pools is a problem especially the baby pool, it’s freezing. I had to take my five year old out after about twenty minutes as her lips and cheeks were blue. It’s a real shame and will definitely mean I won’t be coming back again unless this is addressed. For this reason I wouldn’t recommend to anyone that has young children. Also the changing rooms could do with being updated, not a lot of space for families to change.

Positive experience: Under new management. Sometimes the Facebook swimming timetable differs from the swimming timetable on their app. Which I have brought to their attention twice with a very lax response.

Fantastic experience: My children have used it for years and now the grandchildren are using it, says it all.

Fantastic experience: My daughter started swimming lessons today and she had a great time, she liked the instructors and the new look leisure centre is great!

Fantastic experience: Since the centre re opened in Feb it seems a different place. It is clean, has a friendly atmoshere about it. Showers are good, pool clean, the staff friendly and all in all a good experience had in the swimming pool. Well done

Fantastic experience: Under new ownership and Management since February 2023. Fresh, clean with plenty of good quality gym equipment. Staff are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. A 25 metre swimming pool with attached toddler pool. A good variety of classes to choose from including Aquafit, Cyclefit, Kettlebells and Circuits.

Fantastic experience: Since February 2023 the centre is under new management, this is a community project run by local people. Excellent pool for all, gym and sports hall. Good changing facilities, pleasant approachable staff. Cash, card and direct debit payments accepted. Free parking and lots of park grounds.

Negative experience: I take my children regularly but I won't be going back. Some of the female staff are rude and just stare at you. Constantly telling people off. The changing rooms are dirty and in need of an update. The swimming pool is freezing. One male member of staff is the only nice person there who always speaks and is polite the rest clearly don't want to be working there. People skills would be a good start. They could do so much with this centre and make it really fun for kids but unfortunately I don't see that happening.

Negative experience: Not bad facility but we cancelled my son's membership for swimming months ago and they are still charging us even though we got a confirmation email saying it was cancelled.

Positive experience: Good medium sized pool with adjacent kids pool and helpful staff. Google Maps sends cars to the nearby housing estate though and not the car park; I can't find a way to correct it. (You can walk from the housing estate but it's not the best location to park!)

Negative experience: Teachers are very slow with updating parents portal. Children learn every week same swim style. Never move kids up with score. They just want keep your kid as long as they can,so they can have more money from you.

Positive experience: A great local community facility, great friendly staff but unfortunately not owned by a local company and therefore senior management aren't close enough to the centre understand it's customer needs. Reducing opening hours while increasing membership fees. The changing area is starting to look incredibly tired and dirty now.

Negative experience: A very clean and modern gym with many machine's and weights. The smimming pool is nice and warm and good for swimming lessons. But what really let's this place down are the old and dirty changing rooms, they get mopet but that's it! Very old and dissatisfied with them.

Positive experience: I really like this leisure centre. Has lots to offer, the only one reason i give 4 starts is because of the gym. It could be bigger. The reception team is super friendly. I don't think you can find any better place in Launceston than this.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic staff, great facilities. I really cannot thank them enough for making it easy for me to use the pool as I recover from a serious injury. Being able to swim has really sped up my treatment and I would highly recommend Launceston swimming pool for anybody else that finds pool access difficult. The facility itself has very easy access and the staff go out of their way to help in what is usually a difficult situation.
