Positive experience: Everything was fine. Toilets could have been better sign posted

Negative experience: I used to love this location, the cheap prices, the access of location, it’s all perfect. Not anymore, i entered the gym last Thursday and 4 people started to laugh at me. They was laughing at my weight, I am afraid to come here ever again.

Fantastic experience: Youngest has swimming lessons here and absolutely loves it, that's enough to keep me happy.

Positive experience: The weakest of the 3 leisure centres in this area. Not situated in a good location, but he LIFE card is excellent value for money as long as you use Ebbw Vale's pool, sauna, and gym.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my GP. I have fibromyalgia. I was assigned Craig as my mentor I guess. He's been wonderful. Supportive and encouraging I can now manage a 40 minute 10k bike ride- sweating and in agony but in just 2 short months I'm slowly getting there. I do enjoy going and the rest of the team are always lovely too

Fantastic experience: Decent facility. I regularly attend the gym, you don't have to queue for machines, the equipment is in good order and the membership is reasonable. My kids attend classes here, swimming, taekwondo and such. Staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Abertillery leisure is every good they have amazing staff and great things to do the pool is good but I think they need to do things like a pool party or a foam party for kids and have the big flout out every free swim for the kids but other than that I think it is a very good leisure centure to go to

Negative experience: Could do with being updated and cleaned! Changing rooms are like being in the swimming pool already! The swimming pool viewing area has rusty windows and wall stuck together with white tape! My kids only go here for swimming lessons so cant comment on the gym but i see from posters its more expensive then other gyms in the area! Update: I have informes the swimming teacher of my children dissablities and yet they still treat them as if they are children with out learning/behaviour dissablities! NOT ALL DISSABLITIES CAN BE SEEN! We are now changing swimming schools as the affect on their self esteem is heartbreaking

Fantastic experience: Every conceivable sport available helpful staff, classes for those who choose to indulge only down side is that other than dispensing machines, there is no cafeteria but a great place to go with the family or as individuals. Well worth a visit!!!
