Fantastic experience: Superb stroke exercise club

Fantastic experience: Been using Douglas SC for 18 years. Facilities, cleanliness and standards top notch and always had very friendly caring staff. No wonder it just missed out on winning the first prize for best in Scotland this year. Hard luck guys, you deserved the 1st place!!!

Negative experience: I’ll stick to Olympia. Changing rooms are shocking, no cubicles so no privacy, same with the showers, which were freezing cold. The gym itself is a bit dull and the machines are far too close together

Fantastic experience: Staff excellent, good choice and usually also availability of equipment. Their Christmas Decorations were many and even got publicity in the local press.

Negative experience: Took youngest granddaughter over.I was given a day and in time on Friday for a class that wasn't on till 9.45am. Even then it will be no good as she is 6mth to young for it. The instructors were lovely and gave me the correct information.

Positive experience: no frills, quite, no posers, not the best equipped but if you just want a good basic workout it is fine, music in the gym is sometimes way too loud and even drowns out your own headphones
