Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from the moment we walked in the door. Greeted and everything explained to us took our afternoon tea order. Then shown around the facilities and taken to the spa area. Clean changing rooms towel robe and slippers provided. Then up to you what you do. Room to relax in with complimentary tea and coffee. Sauna steam room and outdoor jacuzzi are really good. You may use the gym facilities. Downstairs is a nice pool with a view over the river another sauna steam room and jacuzzi. Fantastic experience would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Really good facilities and friendly staff. Everything clean and the mud spa was so relaxing. We got a package to get the mud treatment, all day access to the spa and afternoon tea for £45 each. Also they let you go into the hotel with your bath robe on to have tea, which was brilliant. We'd definitely go back

Fantastic experience: My mum and I had a really lovely experience here - fantastic pool and jacuzzi facilities. The staff were so lovely and welcoming - we had lovely massages and facials with Becca and Rihanna who were both wonderful, followed by a fabulous afternoon tea!

Positive experience: I had a lovely Elemis Superfood facial done by Laura, she did a great job, it was really relaxing and my skin looks amazing now! My mum had a great Swedish back massage. The pool and spa facilities were lovely and clean. The staff on the whole were friendly and welcoming. The only downsides, and they are very minor, was the fact that the pool was quite cold, when you expected it to be somewhat heated, and there wasn’t a water fountain in the changing rooms, only in the foyer or upstairs. You couldn’t get a robe unless you were in the upstairs spa facilities, which cost extra. There was only 2 in 1 body wash/shampoo in the showers, rather than separate shampoo/conditioner/body wash and the changing rooms were in need of an upgrade, more reminiscent of a local swimming pool than a spa. Changing these things would elevate the experience. That all being said, and I am nitpicking I know, my mum and I had a lovely time and would go again, we felt really relaxed and chilled afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Went to see Santa today. This place is fantastic, had nice lunch and a walk around. It has spa and Great swimming pool. perfect location for walking and amazing views of the river.

Fantastic experience: I just love going to Cascades. I was bought a voucher and had a great day with friends who joined me. The staff were friendly and we could get free refreshments too.The hot tub was great. Seeing the steam train on its way to Lakeside was a treat. I love the swimming pool too. Had a hot stone massage then we all went for afternoon tea. It was a lovely day had by all. The Vouchers are lovely Birthday or Christmas presents, I can vouch for that!

Fantastic experience: Went for a couple's retreat today was absolutely excellent. From the very 1st call when booking it with a young man called Scott we think who was super helpful and really friendly. When we arrived we think we were met by the same young man who was equally as nice and welcoming. Our treatments were fabulous the therapists were lovely. One small critique was that we couldn't find anybody in the spa area when we needed them. The spa was very clean but was a little dated but didn't spoil a absolutely fabulous time Our afternoon tea was delicious food was just the right amount but a top up of the tea would be more welcomed

Negative experience: Not available to timeshare owners

Positive experience: Fine and relaxed space but sort of wicked atmosphere. The pool was cold which sort of forced swimming on me to stay warm. It’s too small to swim and gain much fitness really. A definite hangout to relax rather than exercise, pool wise at least. It sort of spans the relax - exercise space and does neither well, The hot tub was always full but lovely and warm. The sauna was a lovely retreat from people but I’d really have wanted to swim and enjoy the hot tub. I wanted to enjoy a nice meal pool side and and enjoy the facilities in a less sectioned way. That is to say it felt rather clinical. These are my personal preferences so make if this what you will

Fantastic experience: Friendly helpful staff Great pool and Jacuzzi

Positive experience: We had a lovely day here at the spa. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The spa was very quiet and I did wonder how it would cope with a larger number of visitors. The changing room is small, one toilet and one shower. You have to pay extra for a dry robe but we were given some fresh towels. The facilities are good, clean and generally well maintained. The outside could do with some attention and certain areas are quite slippy. My therapist was lovely but no number of towels could cover a therapy bed that was cracked and crumbling where my face was. The afternoon tea was good, and the issue with one of the cakes sorted straight away. Overall, a nice place in need of a bit of tlc.

Negative experience: My experience was wet. The lovely chap refused me a towel as I was told there was only 12 in the back reserved for hotel guests, I add I had paid for a day pass but alas this did not matter. A shame really as I need that towel to wipe the grime off my arse after visiting the luke warm hot tub and overly chatty company in the steam room. All round very grubby, Just avoid and buy a pizza instead.

Negative experience: I was refused entry today,as I was not a hotel guest or a member.As a local I have used the pool for years as a none member.A covid restriction to keep numbers Down whilst only one person in the pool.As a local,it seems my custom is worth sumwhat less than others.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very professional and helpful. They have given help with gym equipment and exercise routines. Matt always has a smile and will always provide food health tips . There is a smile for every customer and never to busy to help

Fantastic experience: What a place been a few times, great location, the staff chilled and very adaptable for any needs or wants you need. Food service friendliness, PRICELESS.

Positive experience: Gym pretty well equipped for a hotel, pool good with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room

Positive experience: Staff were friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi and steam room were also lovely. Some parts of the facilities feel slightly run down and due an upgrade soon.
