Positive experience: Hello, is there a gym at this pool?

Positive experience: I use the pool-its quite a small area with no separate facilities for little ones, i.e., no baby pool-I use it for the ladies only swim-the changing area is great with lots of cubicles toilets and lockers-it is a shared changing room thou-men and women...the whole area is clean and I can enjoy a nice swim.

Negative experience: I was told for 1 hours swimming it £6 odd .at reception Absolutely extortionate that . I walked away . The place was totally empty . Be closed for good soon at these ridiculous price . Tiny bit cheaper if booked on line ..we all cannot do this . Then if I wanted a receipt you only get one if paying online. If paying by cash you cannot get receipt. Eh !!! Keep your pool at them prices !! Not happy . Be free probably if I wasnt a worker! £6 odd though ... not from me

Fantastic experience: A well maintained baths, staff helpful and friendly. I go three times a week, Mon,Wed and Friday.

Positive experience: I love this place and definitely worth going before pandemic. But at the moment has it stands the gym is still under refurbishment and it feels like now they’re taking forever. Because I have disability it was useful for me but I am unable to travel far at this time. Wish they been done and over with this refurbishment… I wasn’t to keen on the other gym in Thorne. But will have to wait and see…

Positive experience: The facility is moderately clean however the issues I have should be fixed during the current refurbishment. The pool is nice and warm and upon entering there is a chart showing the pool temperature. The pool is very deep.

Positive experience: Went for a covid jab. Felt like a walk in and walk out thing. From past experience it a council run leasure building. It's average at best, does what it says on the can.

Fantastic experience: I go swimming at least once a week at Thorne leisure centre ,I find it very well looked after the the crew who look after it are very friendly and helpful I understand it's up for re furnishings so I expect it will be even better.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful nhs full filling their promise to get us all jabbed. Very good covid process and wonderful humour from the nurses that jabbed myself and husband. I had no worries and no issues other than a bit of a bruisey feeling in the arm for a day. Thank you nhs workers so much xx

Positive experience: Great gym and swimming facilities you are given access to a locker and drinking fountain. Helpful staff making signing up easy and quick. Cheap price membership. However the price for a one time entry was £5 where as the month subscription is £18.50 meaning unless you want to spend a fortune going in every now and then you are forced into dedicating yourself to the subscription choice.

Negative experience: The staff are nice and that but the flooring in the pool is dirty. And I’m my opinion I think the shallow end is to deep for a shallow end and the cubicles have rust and not cleaned

Positive experience: Lovely staff. The facility is a bit of a let down constant battle for changing rooms during lesson times. Toilets are not the cleanest

Negative experience: My son had swimming lessons here he always complained of dirty floors and I had to take an old towel for him to stand on whilst getting changed. People hog changing rooms before kids have finished swimming to very hard to find free cubicle. Swim teachers are very slow at moving children up to higher stage my child was bored to tears and begged me not to go as he was sick of waiting around for the slower swimmers. Word of warning cancelling your direct debit is a nightmare had to give 30 days notice but they still take 6 weeks money out your bank scandalous!!. Very run down dirty place... AVOID.

Positive experience: Swimming teachers are excellent, but facilities are run down and not sufficient for the numbers of people using the pool. Always difficult finding a spare cubicle to get my boys changed in.

Negative experience: Awful, couldn't afford gym membership due to unforeseen circumstances and they told me nothing they can do. So well done just making more people in debt when it's not my fault I can't now pay. Absolutely useless don't think about there members at all.

Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if I could. Hated it! Dated, dirty, smelly... reception staff could do have done with a lesson in customer service. We went swimming, the changing rooms were disgusting, mouldy, smelly, dark and awful. I didn't like that you had to walk passed a door with big glass windows in front of reception in your swimming gear to get to the pool, and then Windows so people can see into the pool area... Not very good safe guarding. The life guards had no control over the kids that were running all over and "bombing" over peoples head. And by the swimming experience I won't even go and look at the gym as I would expect this to be just as grotty. We will NEVER be returning and would rather drive 30 mins to get the Adwick as it's so much better.

Negative experience: Duzy plus za basen. Duzy minus za godziny z ktorych mozna z basenu korzystać. Silownia to raczej fitness niz typowa pakernia. Brak lawki i sztangi. Panuje tlok zwlaszcze przed sezonem urlopowym. Mozna placic za pojedyńcze wejscia podpisac kontrakt na rok. Z kontraktem mozna korzystac z każdego leisure center w okolicy a jest ich chyba z 10 lub wiecej.
