Positive experience: Fair clean pools. But, absolutely freezing in the pool and even more freezing in the changing rooms! It was like being outside in the winter cold! Definitely put me off going again. Trying to get yourself and kids dressed when shivering is not our idea of fun.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great staff, great facilities however if you need to contact DCLT I'd recommend Freddy Krueger giving a prostate check as this would be less stressful and painful

Negative experience: The changing rooms, floors and swimming pool areas are really quite dirty. Many of the lockers in the changing rooms are broken, with doors hanging off. I made a complaint whilst there to be told by the lifeguard that he cleans it and tries his best! Not his fault, but it is obvious they do not employ any professional cleaning company.

Negative experience: Booked online said swim for all got there the little pool was closed because of swimming lessons never stated this on the website so my partner and son didn't even get chance to get in the pool as he is scared of the main pool the lady on reception was very polite and offered a refund but would take 5-7 days

Fantastic experience: Decent pool. Evening swimming can get busy at times. Staff always friendly.

Negative experience: Really really bad gym, I've only been because I was visiting my friend in the area but after 5 minutes I've left to go back to adwick. The cross trainers aren't proper cross trainers, the stride would be more suited to a child and it's so small in the gym there's not a lot else to use that isn't already in use. The female changing rooms are again small, there's only one toilet with a broken toilet seat so not very good to use, sanitary bin was full and the changing rooms weren't clean. I won't be coming back, even if I am in the area because it's just not useable for me.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, it is not a suitable place for small children, we went there with a few months old baby(few times )and it was dangerous because the older children were jumping into the pool all the time, posing a threat to the little ones. Of course, the staff didn't react, they didn't care. The locker rooms are dirty and smell like a toilet.

Positive experience: It's not the worst place I've been to, but hygiene is not good enough. I've never seen anyone cleaning and looking at the state of place, doubt anyone has for a while. There are some good machines, but not enough for full body workout...

Positive experience: The gym is very good in that there's a good choice of machines but you can't go swimming straight after unless you have booked.

Positive experience: Great classes, but surprised to find that there is nowhere to refill a waterbottle, especially when you need hydrating in warmer weather. There was a vending machine, but it's not environmentally friendly or cheap to keep buying bottles of water.

Positive experience: The facilities were clean but the lunchtime slot for the adult swim was packed. Lovely showers, but I'm not a great fan of unisex changing rooms. Some of the older ladies were clearly getting excited when I started to soap up in the showers.

Negative experience: Too many people given access - stayed 10 minutes - not the best value for my £5

Fantastic experience: Lane swimming today 12 till 1 much easier to swim than normal when people seem to want to talk more than swim and insist on being side by side . Maybe compromise and put 2 lanes on ?

Positive experience: First time i've visited in a while to go swimming, the lack of a desk to organise and book things is very off putting, I think they take it for granted that everybody has access to the internet! Other than that, it is what it is, a village leisure facility.

Negative experience: I’ve never seen more dirty swimming pool in my life!

Positive experience: Too many young teens messing about in the gym. Nobody monitoring them. Do not use machines correctly and do not wipe machines down after use. Needs addressing.

Fantastic experience: Years since I've been to the Gym so had an induction this morning with Sam she is friendly, patient & really knows her stuff all my problems were addressed & now I know exactly which machines to use to improve my health & fitness. Had a swim afterwards the pool is lovely. All the staff are friendly & helpful.

Positive experience: Took my grandson son for his swimming lesson, and went to watch him from the viewers platform upstairs, but it was very dark, only one row of chairs and very claustrophobic. It would have been nicer to have tiered seating and a brighter environment, unfortunately lack of space seemed to be the problem

Positive experience: Pool is ok adult Lane sessions could be more often as they're always popular. Upstairs viewing gallery is disgusting ,very high temperatures and humidity with a mickey mouse aircon unit that just adds to the heat. I'm sure it would be illegal to keep animals in such conditions but apparently it's ok for the viewing public many of which suffer for hours at a time watching their children on club nights every week .

Positive experience: Recently refurbished with, excellent swimming pool, fitness suite and eating facilities. Swimming lessons provided if required for youngsters. Seated viewing balcony to watch pool activities.
