Positive experience: Has a great sports hall and outdoor pitches. The parking is very limited and when events are on the street parking fills up very quickly - there is only a single shared toilet and small cafe - lets the site down compared to other sports centres

Negative experience: If you like not getting the services you pay for come here. Can't reply to BH lives comment only edit mine, at your particular site you've closed for good the sauna, same story at queen's park and at pelhams and stokewood the saunas run at severely reduced hours, 1-2 hours max in the evenings. Also as mentioned reduced weekend opening times after your centers bizarrely posted a social media post stating "You asked we listened" and increased opening hours when you had actually reduced them. Also the car park, another service you now have to pay for if you intend on making good use of any of the sites facilities for any length on time. Very poor service continued closure or reduced use of facilities that we apparently pay for. No continuity between centres some want you to use pound coins for lockers others a padlock. This coupled with seemingly random maximum parking times which if you fall foul of your lumbered with an £85 parking fine and these times are different at every centre. Awful weekend opening hours.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Loads of different activities and sports available here. Including well lit outdoor netball courts and football pitches. Also with two massive indoor sports halls used for netball, football and many others. The gym and changing facilities are kept clean and tidy. Definitely a place to attend if you dislike unkept and dirty floors of some other chains. Oh, and free parking! Massive amounts of free parking.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a weekly footy session and amateur league game. Staff were even better as I once left my shoes on the pitch and they stored it safely until I returned to collect it the next week.

Fantastic experience: great gym, if you prefer a larger gym with lots of machines, this is not the one for you but if you want a medium sized gym with a small variety of machines that is not very busy, i highly reccomend, the changing rooms have been refurbished and the people who work there are nice.

Positive experience: I have played football here. Great pitches. I have played badminton here too. Perfectly good hall. £12 for an hour for 4 people. Lighting in the main felt a bit dated and spread out but otherwise ok.

Positive experience: Clean and tidy but small and no big selection of workput machines.

Negative experience: The staff are great, the gym area itself is clean but the council haven't spent a penny on its upkeep for 20 years. Changing rooms are disgusting.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I absolutely love playing badminton at SDE, staff are really friendly, and centre is nice and clean.

Positive experience: Quite difficult to book football pitch. You can be on hold for a long time then disconnected. Pitches are fine although some parts have some humps

Fantastic experience: My daughter goes here to take taekwondo lessons with Gordon Fern. He and his lessons are amazing, my daughter really enjoyed going there and gave learnt a lot about discipline and self care.

Fantastic experience: Lit pitches and great quiet gym with enough to do to keep you active and occupied. Lovely staff and good car park. Not sure if it's wheelchair friendly but have seen easy access from car park into building. Might have more info on their website.

Negative experience: There is no way to get hold of ANYONE to book a court. Phone system is a joke and tell you to use contact form on website but they never get back to me. Please sort out a way to book courts

Negative experience: Well this isn't good! You can't even call the leasure centres to talk to a live person about your membership!?? I've paid up front for the year and the centres closed three months before my membership expired! And was going to ask if I could have those three months later in the year or start next January?looks like I'll have to go and visit one of the centres and ask???

Fantastic experience: Lovely place, it's fun to go to rollerskating every Saturday but it REALLY gets packed. There should be a limit of how many people are allowed in, it's becoming a safety risk.

Positive experience: David English is well-regarded for its outdoor facilities, more so than its indoor gym and changing rooms. The men's changing room, in particular, is quite small; perhaps the smallest I've ever encountered. The limited number of lockers necessitates carrying one's bag.

Positive experience: The gym is actually quality and if it had not been for the eye sore of BSB and the pesky kids always running about being stupid when all I want to do it gym hard and go home. They have good indoor facilities but too many BLASTING kids going about the place. Weekends and after 6 are the only times I would go to avoid the girls (ew) and boys (also ew) but would recommend to anyone with a BHlive and lives in the local area looking for a quite gym except when there are kids which is half the time so you can probably time it alright
