Fantastic experience: This has to be the best truckstop ever .Has more than 600 spaces gym laundry restaurant. The guy at reception was very helpful and friendly. If your trucking in the area give it a look .Totally above all the others. Snap parking accepted.

Fantastic experience: Best English breakfast in England, other meals are also great, huge parking lot, the square is monitored and safe, security guards everything all night, free showers in the price of unlimited parking, £7.50 food voucher in this price you can eat everything you want. I recommend to all drivers. There is also a shop on the premises for small purchases. WND4192A

Fantastic experience: Europe’s biggest truck stop, probably (just in case but not aware of anywhere bigger). Great food, safe parking and staff that go above and beyond to serve its visiting drivers from all over the world. From a convenience store, hot showers, a restaurant, coffee shop, relaxing TV area, a gymnasium, laundry facilities; you name it, Ashford has it. It’s busy, very busy. It can fill to capacity every night, so to avoid frustration and disappointment, you can reserve your space in advance via their user friendly App, and my advice is you use that every time. There is also an onsite truck wash operational during the day. From a brief Tacho break to full weekly rest periods, Ashford has everything you need and is a regular stop when I’m entering or leaving the UK. 5 stars from me, see you later AIT!

Fantastic experience: The best truck stop so far in England. We always have a hard time getting a good paid parking area in the UK. This truck stop is on par with the one in Calais, France, some places in Poland, and some places in Spain. Great food, which you won't think about it when you're in England, clean shower facility, and relaxing restaurant area.

With the cost of parking in the UK, for a car onstreet at £ 1.50 - £ 2 per hour equates to £ 36 at the cheapest versus £ 42.50 for the same duration, includes a £ 7.50 meal voucher, a high level of security for our drivers, vehicles and goods they transport. Added to that are the many amenities from, shop, showers, laundrette, rooms, gym, restaurant that turns out freshly cooked dishes using only the best quality ingredients, bar, coffee shop a and relaxed environment. Power for refregerated units come at an extra charge, tarriffs are listed onour webpage for your reference. Negative experience: parking with good space, bathrooms in good condition, only the prices are very expensive, I entered at 17:43 pm and left at 05:49 and I paid £42.50, I thought it was a lot for one night.

A 24 hour charge is applicable (information on our website as well as displayed at reception) thats £42.50, includes. £7.50 meal voucher. Parking in the UK onstreet for a car is between £1.50 - £2 per hour and equates to £36 - to £48, excluding the safe and secure environment we provide our drivers, their vehicles and goods, and all the amenities like, shop,shower, laundrette, gym, rooms, restaurant, bar & coffee shop. Added to that is the warm,friendly and professional service we provide as Ashford International Truckstop. There are other facilities within a 20 mile radius with fewer amenities and possible cheaper tariffs should you prefer. Negative experience: My husband could not park on the motorway services as it was full. I found your place on google maps and thought it was perfect for my husband who was running out of driving hours and in unfamiliar areas. However, you turned him away as he had not booked. Surely you can sort this out and allow a driver to book there and then. The person in the gate turned him away and was quite rude offering him no help.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped truck stop nice clean showers and toilets nice bar and cafe with lots of seating and a gym at a reasonable price ,,,parking is also spacious and can hold plenty of trucks and over night stay is quite pricey

Positive experience: According yo your reply: I see and smell it with my own eyes and nose. Put up some hidden camera's and invite a mold and pest control to prove that im wrong.. Place is all right.. chefs are a bit nasty..they've got no clue about food hygiene, its horrific to see. Never left sick though. Showers are already in the state of the old facility. Once you enter there is a world of mould to be discovered. You can even smell it. But..very friendly staff, gym is good and bookings are made easily!

With regards to mould in the showers, a deep clean is conducted once a week as well as measures to control mould build up, being an environment with high humidity, mould does appear in spots and measures are in place to combat it. Hygiene at the restaurant, our team at the restaurant go through rigorous training on health, hygiene and food safety and are aware of strict standards, we as a business enforce. We have team leads who, at, all times, enforce and ensure these standards are met with. Our team operate and are aware that they are in full view of customers and confident, knowing they follow rigid standards. With regards to the chef’s being nasty, this is something we do not tolerate as Ashford International Truckstop. Please provide us with an approximate time and day of the incident, we have CCTV cameras with audio recording capabilities and will look at the footage for evidence. I would like to respond on your comments.. Our Restaurant in 5 star awarded for Health and Hygiene and our practises. The Chef follow our policies to the book, which includes a lot of hand washing, catering gloves and sanitised area, which is probably why you have never been ill. The showers are far from the old facilities and kept to a good standard considering we have over 6000 movements through these on a weekly basis.. cleaners are on shift for over 28 hours per day. So I would strongly disagree with both comments. But once again thank you for the 4 stars. All the best and safe driving!
Negative experience: Turned up tonight over my hours due to eurotunnel delays again!! The company I work for spend a huge amount of money here weekly! However the office forgot to book me in and the attitude of the guy outside checking to see if a spot has been booked was pretty disgraceful!! Refused entry, not interested in my situation! Spoken to like something under his shoe!! nowhere to park, already over hours!!! Thanks for absolutely nothing!! Unbelievable treatment towards the people that keep your pockets lined!! I won't use this place again!

Positive experience: The place is alright, but the food is... Rather I don't wanna comment. I bought a hamburger, but the meat was burned. Second time when I been there the rice with curry vegetables it was saltless if the kitchen would be better I'd put 5 stars.

We are sorry that you feel it was overdone, nevertheless, you could have informed our team at the restaurant, they would have replaced or given you a full refund. Although I will say the burgers are not over done they are cooked on a char-grill which gives a BBQ flavour which can be mistaken for burnt which most customers love! but I can ensure you this is not the case. If you don't want your burger to be cooked this way just let us know when ordering. We are sorry that you also felt that the curry was saltless, we have had no reports till date. The amount of salt added to every dish is just right, should your require a higher content of salt, sachets are freely available to customers. Dear Sir, To respond again to your comment. We dont just accept pre-bookings but it is recommended to reserve using one of our many ways.. Mytruckparking.com, yourtravis.com or by phone 00 441233 502919. We advertise this on our website, posters, signs etc so even though you don't want to return a one star review or an X is rather harsh and unfair, when as a drivers passing through a very busy port should know if you don't reserve any of the parks in the area you wont get a spot. We do our upmost to help drivers get a spot, give them great facilities and high security but because you could not get in, you are able give us such a poor star rating! Your thought process behind your rating is not correct.

Negative experience: It's a shame that such a big and beautiful parking lot has such a stupid shower, the person who approved the shower is very stupid, the question is whether he will make such a shower at home or not.
Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to review and the great comments about the facilities. The showers were designed from what drivers wanted in an extensive survey, a drive across Europe to the best parks, seeing what they have and what would be more hygienic for both the customer and cleaners, due to how they were treated by some drivers. The Pods provide a heat changing shower, a toilet, changing and bag area with a wash room with hair dryers etc to the side. Our showers are very popular with our customers, your comment is the only negative one we've received in the 2 years we've been open. Based on having 6000 drivers per week for over 102 weeks = 612,000.00 drivers, 1 negative review, I am not sure that makes me stupid! Have a great day!

With the facility at full capacity every evening , 660 trucks, mid afternoons through to 10 pm are extremely busy at the restaurant . We use only the best quality and freshest ingredients, dishes are prepared fresh from order to plate and can sometimes be a wait ,depending on whats on order. Our facility caters specifically to truckers with all amenities under one roof from shop, showers , rooms , coffee shop, laundry , gym, restaurant, bar and the high lever of security we provide, which makes our pricing fair Parking tariffs for a car in England range from £ 1 - £ 1.50 per hour, on street. For all of the above services we charge £ 40 for a 24 hour period which includes a £7.50 voucher for the restaurant. Being a country where rains are dominant throughout the year, the facility was designed taking into consideration the excessive rain .Block paving was specifically used to allow for the water to quickly soak away which in turn stops water stagnating. Positive experience: Stayed Saturday evening. Would have been nice to have some explanation up front (from lady at the booth). -She asked if we had a frigo, replied, we were empty. Unfortunately, she didn't mention to not go to the rear, where the running frigo's were.... -paying should be done up front to be able to use the voucher for meals. When asking saturday evening, the guy at reception told us, the meals will be deducted from price. When showing up sunday morning, this was not true.....luckily the 2 ladies at treception took care of it very well. Compliments. -smell in toilets are not the best, needs some ventilators. -Price for parking is very high, extremely high (comparison, parking in Germany 2 weeks earlier was 18 euro, bigger truck, more facilities.

In respect to you comments: Non running fridges/ frigo can park anywhere in the park, only the ones that are turned on must plug-in or park in the area at the bottom end of the park for obvious reasons. Payment can be made at any point and vouchers collected, I understand my duty manager resolved the issue, due to mis-communication from a new (in training) employee. The toilets have extensive ventilation and normally smells floral and clean, unfortunately it just sounds like you used these at the wrong time!! we have 4 cleaners on site throughout the day. The price reflects UK services in the area and the high standards of security and facilities offered. You would notice this if you used others in the area. Negative experience: Awful, waited over 45 minutes for a breakfast. Place was empty and the woman behind the food counter couldn't keep up. People ordering after me for their food well before me and others who had been waiting for ages. When it was finally ready it was cold but as I'd been waiting nearly an hour I had no time to wait for her to replace it so just ate a bit of it and left the rest.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, excellent food, staff are very helpful from cleaners to cooks to reception. Just wish that it was possible to reserve electric hook up instead of first come first serve as every week I arrive about 22.00 and it's a lottery if you can grab a space with hook up.

Fantastic experience: For a night a great place to stop. Parking monitors and food hall not cheap. £30 + 7.50 meal voucher not good 37 .50 in total. Service was friendly but they all seemed too much of a rush when it didn't go there way . Cash machine out of order made my life a misery . Serves me right for not getting some pounds

Positive experience: Better if you knew to pay the parking first to get the meal voucher. 1st time here, lesson learned lol. Plenty of parking & the toilets are clean & plentiful. Showers are great. None of this push button 15 seconds of water rubbish. Just turn on & enjoy. Food was really really nice. Had a stacked burger with pulled pork. For £11 well worth the money & very tasty. Staff were friendly & helpful to everyone despite many language barriers

Negative experience: No way. It's the fourth time here and the same problem.. It's 00.33 and the music it's still listening in the parking.. We payed 72 pounds for safety parking, toilet for rest and not for disco.... It's loud music all the time here... Do something about that it's not normal

Dear Aaron, Firstly there is no need for rudeness, especially when the charges are clearly stated in tge sites T&Cs, this is a planning regulation we have to follow. Positive experience: Nearly £40 to park here plenty of spaces there is an electrical hookup for a refrigerated lorries but you have to pay £1 an hour you cannot leave your fridge running without electric because the food that I had was awful I wouldn't recommend it it was off the truckers menu where you get a £7.50 meal voucher. On the plus side of the people are very nice and friendly and the toilets are showers are clean showers are £2 unless you're staying overnight then they are free. You can ring up in advance and pay for a space I would recommend this because it does get very busy from five o'clock onwards

Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to review but this is incorrect, the menu has over 50 different dishes on and we do specials and carvarys each day. This menu runs from 6am - 11pm every night, the between 11pm to 6am we have a night menu. 4am to 12pm our breakfast menu starts. If you want a steak during the night simply ask the night chef who will be more than happy to cook you one to your liking. All the best

Fantastic experience: A massive truckstop just off the motorway with around 600 truck spaces. I went for a 30 minute break parking is free for an hour which was spot on. I popped into the restaurant and had a breakfast which was ready in about 15 minutes. And was very nice.

Fantastic experience: A parking with all facilities you need , for this you have 5 stars from me! Restaurant have delicious food , the shop is ok for a quick resuplies and toillets/showers are clean !

Fantastic experience: First time at this services.. all I'd say is,,,,, Fantastic place.. clean toilets, pints are cheap and food was incredible.. definitely the best truck stop that I've stayed in..

Negative experience: Booked space. None available. These things happen but contacted three times and never bothered even responding. Thanks for your reply. Think you are missing the point. Pre booked a space. Paid £39.50. Arrived - told you were full but was told booking was valid but there must have been a mix up. Driver moved on. Tried to contact you 3 times to request refund. Totally ignored.
Dear Sir, if you are referring to now we do have spaces available and you need to use our app to reserve, if this was another night and the app says we are full then we wouldn't contact you back unless we had a space I'm afraid. Using our app or checking on our website will give you a guide on whether you are able to park with us or not.. Negative experience: We used to park here maybe twice or more every month but now it was the last time: 1: 4:30 in the morning the one next to us changes tractors, one hour we didn’t sleep, not in the trailer drop off area. 2. One lorry in front of us started his engine at 2AM for one hour. 3. Breakfast is worse and worse, I specifically asked for the 10 pieces I want, second time I don’t get what I ask for, and never ever there are 10 pieces in the big breakfast, all the time 2-3 pieces are missing, the sausages were burnt and cracked, and the toast was thrown by naked hand on top of everything. 4. Pavement is still destroyed and not fixed in some areas, and my lorry scrapes the ground on exit lane. 5. Sunday afternoon a very loud frigorific lorry arrived and parked near quiet trucks, I went to security, he came, knocked one time at the door, the driver didn’t answer and the security guard left and we had to listen all the sounds and frequencies all day long.
29/9/24 1907 hrs Hi Marius, thank you for taking the time to review us, disappointed we are with the 2 stars, nevertheless, we have spoken with our team members to understand what may have gone wrong, and here are our findings. 1: Our team at security patrols the facility every hour, there were no reports of an engine being turned on at 2am (29th September) in the morning, however, this could have happened for a short duration between patrols. 2: We have designated bays for trailer change, due to these bays being at full capacity as well as the entire facility, drivers have no option but to utilise available ones, we are sorry that you encountered a situation at 4:30 am. 3: We understand how important a satisfying breakfast is and can only apologise for the missing pieces and the delivery. Rest assured, we are taking immediate steps to address the issue and ensure it does not happen again. 4: Paving stones have come away in a few spots at the facility, repairs are underway and can take longer than expected. Due to the sheer volume of trucks in and out of our facility repairs can only be undertaken at quieter times. We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused you. 5: Our team at security were aware of the situation in the afternoon and approached the driver of the concerned truck, unfortunately, the battery of his vehicle was running low on power, and had no option but to start his vehicle for a 30 minute period to recharge. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to improve our services. Our manager at the restaurant as well as our Operations Director have been informed and we reassure you that such a thing will not happen again. As a gesture of goodwill, our Operations Director has offered a free stay on your next visit. We hope this token of appreciation enhances your experience with us.
