Positive experience: I liked the double room with a balcony over looking the golf course, bed was comfortable. Tv was missing most of its channels which was a pain. Food was great, service was a bit slow when waiting for the menu. I think the website is a bit misleading with the pool and spa, unless you read every part to the end it implies the pool and spa are for use of the guests !! Well it is for £25. Apart from that it's quite nice.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I wanted a mini break not too far away and this hotel was perfect. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly receptionist who was helpful in explaining things. We were delighted with our room that had a stunning view across the golf course, and a balcony to relax and look at the view. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotlessly clean. We had an excellent massage in the beauty salon and relaxed on the loungers until we were ready to go swimming. Again a very clean pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious meal for very reasonable prices, and again with friendly staff. Breakfast the next morning, after another lovely swim, was a buffet with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, beans, bacon, sausage and mushrooms. Also the only toaster I've known toast the bread the first time! For a short break it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love this Hotel even if i had mixed experiences over the years there. Rooms have different sizes, some have fridges or washing mashines, some not but cost all the same, but all of them have an amazing view over the golf course and are keept very tidy and clean also the bathrooms. Breakfast is super delicious and good quality but everday different amounts of sausages, potatoes or avocade on your plate when you order it. But the people there are super friendly and the atmosphere is nice so i dont mind these things. The spa area is also very nice and offers all you could wish for.

Rooms are slightly outdated (carpet and curtains, chairs), however they make up for it with accessories like underfloor heating. A/C, great views of the golfing landscape. Very clean in both the spa and hotel side. Dining and drinks menu a great selection with an accessible bar open till late. Leaflets of what you can do the Tamworth and surrounding areas

Positive experience: The hotel and spa were awesome. The staff are great. The food not so much the pasta I had made me throw up and gave me stomach ache with the side of IBS. It’s my first time here so everything was great just the food wasn't great. My family enjoyed themselves the hotel animals were very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Came here for a much needed spa break with my partner and have to say we were thoroughly looked after by India in the treatment rooms she was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful setting and perfect hydrotherapy pool. There is also a ladies only area which is lovely too.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely overnight stay friday the 10th of November. Staff were friendly and helpful food was excellent and i would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends and family

Fantastic experience: Went there for a charity event with afternoon tea. High quality food. It's an attractive place on the edge of the lovely town of Tenterden. They support charities generously with their pricing. (There's no beach and it's not in London.)

Positive experience: We visited the London Beach Hotel for a charity dinner dance. The location is beautiful, the food was good, and the price of everyone's meal was donated by the hotel for the charity we are fundraising for! Most of the staff were fantastic and very helpful. There was one or two who could have been a bit more cheerful, but perhaps they were under pressure.

Positive experience: It is a lovely traditional pub with friendly staff and locals. We received a warm welcome from the staff and enjoyed some new drinks we hadn't encountered before.

Positive experience: Location was very nice. 2 rounds of golf. 9 holes then 18. Golf course was in great condition. Room was a bit dated but more than adequate. Bed side lamps never worked thou ! Evening meal was ok. Breakfast was decent. Lunch was a bit disappointing. Think all food was a bit overpriced for the quality. Only down side was choice of food. Given menus. Decided what we wanted, then to be told “no baguettes, no fish & chips, no pie, no chunky chips. Need to be more prepared for a weekend.

Negative experience: Horrible staff that would not honour breakfast vouchers. I have never stayed in place were the staff actively went out of there way to be rude. It’s a very dated and not very clean hotel

Fantastic experience: Great place for a round of golf or a drink in the club house. Big screens for sporting events. Plenty of free parking and buggies to hire at a reasonable rate.

Fantastic experience: I attended a conference here and it was a great venue. The function room was large enough for what we needed with its own bar and toilets opposite the corridor. The lunch was really nice and well presented. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Plenty of free parking in the car park areas.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved our visit, I went with my mum and sister for a spa overnight stay. All the staff were happy cheerful and helpful we were really looked after. It was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. The food was lovely and reasonably priced we had evening meal and breakfast. The spa facilities were fantastic like the ladies only area it was quiet. Well definitely be returning.

Negative experience: Racist & discriminatory staff !!! Staff are Racist, and show indifference to anyone who is Brown. My experience at London Beach was extremely disappointing, and I feel the need to warn others considering joining. Unfortunately, I faced discrimination during my time there, which made me feel unwelcome and let down. As soon as I let the staff member know where I immigrated from , my interactions with her were hostile and inconsistent. She refused to accommodate our payment request, only to be contradicted by another helpful staff member later on 2 days later. I experienced regular passive aggressive behaviour from her. Things didn't improve. When I had an accident in the pool (someone accidentally kicked me in the face) , the staff member dismissed my concerns and questioned my account of the incident even though there are cameras, one would think that these things would need to be recorded for health and safety.. On another occasion, I was aggressively confronted about taking two towels instead of 1, despite witnessing others (who are white) being allowed to do so previously, whilst I was in the locker room an older white lady came out of the shower with 2 towels, one on her head and one around her waist. The inconsistent enforcement of the rules added to the frustration. These experiences would make anyone feel singled out, especially since it only started when I informed the staff member of my background & origin. Discrimination has no place in a gym that should promote inclusivity and fairness. I cannot recommend this gym to others until they address these discrimination concerns seriously. Consider alternative gyms that prioritise a welcoming and equal environment. I have since (6 months ago ) made a formal complaint - only for it to be ignored and not even acknowledged, which is quite disheartening in this day and age. Let's hope the management takes necessary action to create a better and more inclusive gym for everyone.

Negative experience: When you book a room, it is currently not stated on the booking page that the spa is not included. They do however inform you of this when they email you after you have booked. When you request a refund, a charge of £20 is applied. In my view this is very unclear marketing and poor customer service

Negative experience: Went for dinner on a saturday evening. Very few tables dining yet serving staff were not sufficient as had delays at multiple points in the service (with other tables seeming to be waiting a long time for their food as well). Despite only five or so choices of main course, it seemed incredibly overpriced for what was delivered. We ordered the burger and got a lukewarm burnt patty in a cold pappy untoasted bun, with tasteless unsalted chips (the coldslaw was very nice though). The hotel seemed a lot more upmarket for what seemed like a meal we would have been dissatisfied with from wetherspoons. And it might seem fussy but I wouldn't expect to receive sauces in chip shop sachets at a nice restaurant. Overall we had a disappointing experience, especially considering the 5 stars on the sign at the front of the hotel. I would suggest the hotel hire more staff to deal with their customers and put more care into the meals served to their guests

Fantastic experience: This was our second stay here and it was just as excellent as the first. The whole place is just welcoming, from the lovely lady on reception to the lovely lady at the spa so welcoming. The room was a 4 poster and beautiful we had this room twice now and it’s stunning. The spa is another level it’s so peaceful and chilled. Thank you for another lovely stay and the warm welcome we received x

Fantastic experience: I use the gym and pool. I also use the bar for coffee and the views across the golf course are lovely. The staff are fab and always very friendly. I've never stayed there but I overheard one of the guests saying their bed was super comfy.

Fantastic experience: Lovely stay again in a room with a balcony & view over the golf course. Bedrooms are really spacious and clean, if a little 'tired' in decor. Staff really friendly and helpful. Dog friendly rooms available and dogs welcomed in bar and part of restaurant.

Positive experience: The set up is good, however it's very dated. Stayed overnight for a function and was offered full English breakfast on the website, upon arrival was told there was no chef so it would be crossiant & juice?!?! Not good when your hanging. The barman did a good job, considering it was a party of 100 people, he was helped by a lady who didn't know how to make a lager top, and he also layed out all the buffet. Well done to him, but otherwise very disappointed.

Positive experience: This is a great place to stay for golf and a spa, very clean and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are lovely and big and they cater for groups of friends with rooms that have 2 or 3 double beds. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast, it was continental, which is ok but the hot water for the tea and coffee was luke warm, be nice for them to invest in a hot water machine - otherwise a lovely stay!

Positive experience: Room ok, however loud in the night from the bar and people with dog in the room next door. Not a good night sleep.

Negative experience: Other than first class bar staff the hotel was awful, mucky bathroom with broken lock very stained toilet and dirty shower, bedding had seen better days. We asked to use the pool as there was no one in there and was told it would be £100 extra as we had not booked a spa weekend by the looks of the spa neither had anyone else ! No food available not even bar snacks. The reception staff were very off hand abs gave totally wrong information regarding the local area. All in all it was the worst £300 I have ever spent.

Positive experience: They found us a room at short notice. Unfortunately it had not been cleaned so they upgraded us to a four-poster bedroom. No food but offered to lay a table for take away. Slightly dated styling. Lovely views and room balconies. Staff on duty were friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Visited with my family (2 adults and 2 children under 9) the room we was placed in was directly above the bar which had a party on till 11:30. Complained and changed rooms only three doors up. Bed was so old and mattress was so lumpy that we only got three hours sleep. Don't believe it when they offer "vegan" breakfasts. Three fried tomatoes three hash browns and a drowning a plate in beans which is barely room temperature. Gross. Tacky out of date furniture and in awful disrepair and hugely stuck in the 70's. When complained about our stay they just said 'we will look into the mattress and hope you have a safe journey All this for the low low cost of £140 Awful service, awful beds and just a awful time. Avoid!

Fantastic experience: Strong covid measures in place which is reassuring but sadly only continental breakfast is delivered to room step. No restaurant on site open but guests are encouraged to order takeaway and food deliveries to eat in hotel. Calm relaxing hotel, with great views over golf course in our case, added bonus is the balcony to enjoy sunset and couple drinks from the bar, which is open! Beer takes awful btw, tried 2 different drafts both taste same, of pipe cleaner.

Positive experience: Lovely staff and grounds but in need of updating the rooms

Positive experience: Hotel staff is nice, room was big enough to stay as a family with 2 kids - 2 double beds in the room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. There are hand sanitisers in the hotel. We stayed for a long weekend, 2 nights. We didn’t know that in the golf resorts they cut the grass at 7:30am on sunday morning. Kitchen was not open so breakfast was limited with crousant, muffin and corn flakes with orange juice, tea/coffee.

Positive experience: Ate our meal in a glassed area where it was lovely and warm in the sun. Scenery fantastic as it looks over a golf course. Menu good. We had sea bream which was delicious followed by a decorative chocolate mousse with brownie pieces and sorbet. All delicious with a glass of Savignon blanc.

Fantastic experience: Spa and pool area is fabulous. Highly recommended. Although its a members only club so you have to commit to the yearly fee. It's very expensive but you get what you pay for

Negative experience: Handed our coats to a cloak room attendant assuming they would be safe returned to see one had been taken, no staff in the cloak room and doors wide open, then to be told and i quote " its not our problem" the cloak room is always left open so its your loss, and they wonder why they get an angry response. It appears anyone can just come and help themselves to guests belongings in the care of this place so be warned.

Positive experience: The rooms are large and well maintained with most of them having a great view over the golf course. The food is excellent and the staff were very accommodating. The Spa is extremely nice but the surcharge is quite steep. The layout and feel of the bar/restaurant is a little strange and takes away from what is a good hotel.

Fantastic experience: Really great Covid-19 measure in place made me feel at ease, golf course is in great condition and a drink or two after socially distanced with a free temperature check. We will return definitely

Positive experience: Very good,but the safe to our room was not usable,but we stayed in that room although offered another,food was good,staff were very attentive,we stayed for 5 nights and we did not realise that to use the spa and pool which were saline and very good we would have to pay £25 per day per person timed from 1400hrs to 1400hrs per day which would have doubled our costs even though we were paying for 2 massage treatments each,over our stay.However we negotiated use for two days with the manager.The hotel is aimed at golfers mainly but my wife and I do not play golf,our stay was just a short break,the air con provided was absolutely necessary as it was extremely hot during our stay!
