Negative experience: Get whoever's idea it was to fix all showers at the same time on the busiest day, during peak hours, making it impossible for anyone to take a shower, a drink. What a genius

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and great quality equipment!

Positive experience: I like the off peak hours as I hate people, prices are better than most places. Staff are quiet but approachable. I recommend wiping the equipment as people don't always wipe them down.

Negative experience: I've visited a few Pure Gyms over time and this is one of the more cramped ones. Not as much equipment as well and can be a squeeze at peak times. The other thing I also do not appreciate is the fact it's not the cleanest, toilets/shower areas not well maintained. Not uncommon for stinky lockers as well. At nearly £30 a month this isn't great. Pure Gym in Edinburgh and Dundee for example offer far better facilities for half the price.

Fantastic experience: Adequate range of equipment for a workout. Staff are really helpful too. The place is in great condition and clean.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very welcoming and for someone that hasn't been at the gym in about 8 years. My anxiety has been settled with the support the staff provide.

Positive experience: Has everything you need but could do with an actual water dispenser/tap rather than a drinking fountain that everyone uses to slowly fill their bottles.

Negative experience: Puregyms in Edinburgh and Dundee are open until 4 pm for Christmas. This one chucked everyone out at 12. I’ve seen half a dozen other folks unknowingly attempt to enter the gym. For an online only, 24/7 gym, this is quite poor. At least post your hours online so people don’t drive 40 mins just to get turned away

Fantastic experience: I have been using this gym for over a year now. Great amount of space, good equipment, for the most part it's kept spotless, staff are friendly and the fact it's open 24/7 is what seals the deal for me.

Fantastic experience: Paul the Manager was great, extremely helpful and friendly, knew within a few minutes of walking in the door we were newbies, and approached us straight away, offered advice, guidance and demonstration of our chosen plan.

Mi sono trovato piuttosto bene, locale pulito ben organizzato, sufficiente attrezzatura, personale molto accogliente, struttura nel complesso ben organizzata ad eccezione dell'aria condizionata , in alcuni punti il getto ti colpisce proprio sopra, ingresso col pin davvero pratico! Tramite l'app o il sito si possono acquistare gli ingressi necessari, si riceve il pin tramite email e/o SMS, lo si inserisce sull'apposito tastierino e si preme ok. Per uscire stessa procedura. Macchinette per integratori disponibili, acqua gratuita idem, stazione per ricaricare il telefonino e armadietti chiudibili esclusivamente con lucchetto, da portare da casa o acquistabile in loco. Prezzo 8.99£ per singolo ingresso.

Fantastic experience: Great place, clean, up to date gym equipment and friendly....love it :-)

Negative experience: Gym is ALWAYS uncomfortably hot. Could be 20 degrees outside and the gym will be 25, most people would rather start cold but there is zero option, perfect if you are training for a tropical climate. completely wasted the couple of grand they paid for the aircon system. Alot of the online trained expert PTs seem uninterested in anything they are doing. Watched a couple let their clients train with shocking technique but they were too busy on their phones to help them out. Loads of treadmills which is a bonus but limited other cardio equipment which is terrible during busy times. Decent functional area unless you come to the gym solely to use it like i have done a few times for it being fully taken over by a class even tho there is a studio right next to it. You think maybe a sign saying it will be closed between certain times but no no this would require effort and it seems the staff have mastered the 'doing less pays the same and requires less effort' technique. Biggest bonus is that its 24hrs.

Fantastic experience: The gym is great. The problem recently is that their parking is being used my non-members and there is hardly any space for us to park. That needs to be sorted out soon.

Fantastic experience: The best gym I've been to...reasons being.... Everyone fits in irrespective of fitness levels, size, gender,age and all the anxieties some people with low confidence or just working their way into fitness for the first time are concerned about or not confident after some timeout from fitness. This gym is open 24 hours per day and you can have insight to the occupancy of your local 'pure gym' via the app....this allows you to gauge the best time for you to feel comfortable in there if you don't want to be around many people. The security in this gym is paramount to me..the double pin or barcode scan to enter the gym building and cctv allows me personally to feel safe here..this gym is my second home and I feel safer here than at home often. The staff members are equally lovely and don't intervene with your training. All other members of the gym that have been present when I'm in are all just minding their own business and doing they're own thing. A really highly recommended gym for first timers and all fitness levels.

Fantastic experience: This is a new gym with good access and free parking. It is smaller than my previous PureGym (Redditch, Worcs). Having returned to Scotland I rejoined after a couple of years away, but was a shade disappointed that Scotland was not included in a no rejoin fee. That said, the gym is extremely clean and well laid out, and people clean the equipment after use faithfully. Visiting is a pleasant experience with a really friendly feel amongst users. One major benefit for me is that it is not a "bodybuilders" gym, and those of us who prefer the aerobic side of exercise can feel equally comfortable. Update 3 August 2022 - still using the gym and still happy. Equipment levels fine for me and always enjoy my sessions thanks to free WiFi.

Negative experience: On visiting the gym today I had the experience first hand of the lack of customer service and poor attitude by the staff members and personal trainers especially Stephanie towards me. There was no compromise and lack of support to accomplish what I needed to do as part of my leg training. I have witnessed other members being approached and dealt with in a terrible manner by staff and it finally happened to me today. I will not stand for Stephanie talking about me to other members of the gym bad mouthing me and then calling me a fool after confronting her about it. This was all done while she had a client with her which shows a lack of respect for both her client and myself. I have asked for an apology which I am still waiting for. Please be aware of this gym and the lack of manners by staff when they approach you if you seem to do something they feel is not correct. I understand they need to ensure rules are adhered to but there are ways and means to approach this and training them to do this in a correct manner will only help their development. A VERY UNHAPPY MEMBER

Positive experience: Good location. It is a small gym in comparison to the Dunfermline one however the facilities are good and maintained well

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Best one I've been to! Also very clean, everyone wiping down machines after use and using hand sanitizer that's placed all around gym. Staff are also lovely!

Positive experience: Smaller than dunfermline and Stirling but more costly. I go when quiet otherwise don't get any equipment. Some out of action already despite being new. Gym is clean and practice social distancing with plenty cleaning stations.

Fantastic experience: First time using a gym, was first session with one of their personal trainers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good amount of cleaning stations and space for working out. Music isn't loud either. For someone with anxiety, was an enjoyable and comfortable experience!

Fantastic experience: Great equipment, easy to use. The air temperature inside is perfect too and also the music played there is good which is an added bonus
