Positive experience: Great gym, except the music is so bad it makes you want to leave and pull your eardrums out. Is it really too hard to have normal music instead of the weird music that could possibly be used as torture. Normal radio music would even be an improvement.

Positive experience: Nice gym, but lacking abs workout machines
Fantastic experience: Great amenities, if you time it right it’s never too busy to workout. The staff and training are all friendly and helpful and do great classes.
Positive experience: Good gym when it’s not busy, tend to get too busy in the late afternoon and you can hardly get on a machine but other than that it has free parking and it’s in a good location.

Positive experience: I visited once and seemed a bit cramped upstairs. Cool gym but was too full during the evening to even work out.

Positive experience: Big gym, it's, like any other gym, very busy during the week after 5 but plenty of equipment and you get classes included in the price which is great as well.
Positive experience: I really like this gym, I move from the gym group in Edmonton. Pure gym in chesunt is a nicer area and all the people are friendly. The machines are brand new and I love the classes

Positive experience: Not bad, plenty of young gym goers there that do absolutely nothing but walk around and pose. Apart from that it's a decent local gym. Although finding quite a few broken machines such as treadmills.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. Positive experience: The Monday spin class is just a bit short, would prefer 45 minutes The other evening spin classes are not for me as it seems the instructors do not like the spin class and this reflects on the class and my opinion of it. Nicki runs a very good spin class, my favourite class of the week but just not long enough. 45 minutes would be perfect.

Negative experience: Not a reflection on the local PureGym, but the company CS in general:- I booked a day pass session at the gym..unfortunately, it defaulted to a local Gym 200 miles away. I was unable to process a refund via the app and unable to contact CS over the Xmas period..I was also unable to rebook the gym of my choice on that day. So I was stuck paid for a session I couldn’t attend and couldn’t book another session at the gym of my choice.. Next I contacted CS who responded with ’sorry sir, we don’t offer refunds on days passes.’ Ok sorry PureGym…safe to say, I won’t be returning.
Negative experience: Fighting for a carabiner on almost every machine is terrible. Too hot. Jobsworths. Such a shame these pure gyms seem to spawn everywhere

Positive experience: People are coming with their dirty work uniforms , also inside i dont know why some people take off their shoes off!!! they might carry diseases Not acceptiable . Also, against health and safety. Other then it is big and open space. with lots of equipments. I like to be there.

Positive experience: Seeing people naked in lockers room. Not using changing rooms or bathrooms. Toilets seats are urinated. Some of the bathrooms doors aren't working. The rest everything is OK and good.

Fantastic experience: Went on a sunday afternoon. Have to admit, was surpsied by the overall space along with the quality and range of equipment. Very happy to see many squat racks. They could however provide more accessories for the cable exercise stuff. Very limited amount of holds. Very impressed.

Negative experience: Came into the gym in the afternoon and this lady was in the changing rooms playing very loud music on her speakers, singing loudly, walking around without her clothes on and peeing in the toilet naked with the door wide open. We didn't want to confront her in case of escalation but there was no staff around to make a complaint. Gym members please have consideration for others in the changing room as what is normal for you may be seen as inconsiderate or inappropriate behavior in such settings.

Positive experience: I like the gym itself, not a bad size and good selection of equipment. I went at peak time this evening which wasnt ideal but only time i could go today. Only one PT was working upstairs. There was a big group of teenage kids in there socialising and taking up all the equipment and just in the way. I wouldnt have an issue with this had they actually been working out. Their friends seemed to be members as used codes to get in but when they were coming in/out the barriers when entering and leaving, their friends were pushing in through the barriers with them which showed they clearly didnt have memberships. An extra 2 boys on average were pushing in and out per code being entered and id say there were a group of at least 7/8. At peak time this was less than ideal. Overall it made it an unpleasant experience for me this evening which is a shame. I doubt I'd return in a hurry.

Fantastic experience: Really good nice gym and staff but only thing is it's nearly been a year since you opened and still no wifi but you have WiFi for the staff but not for everyone been to evey pure gym around uk and they all have free WiFi but this gym don't just a shame whats going on pure gym when you going to have free WiFi

Fantastic experience: Brilliant facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the deputy manager and manager. Very clean gym too. I love the fact there are free women's pads and tampons in the changing rooms too. Nice touch!

Negative experience: No reception, barriers at point of entry with membership kiosk at point of entry , someone will need to sign you in if there's anyone about! Not offered a tour, this place for me felt cold and unfriendly, its a shame as this gym is the nearest

Positive experience: Decent gym layout, loads of open space and lockers as well as good changing facilities. Parking is potluck tho, I know it’s not exactly their fault but it is in a busy shopping area with a bad parking layout, WIFi isn’t available to members and only to staff and you can’t use data as it’s in a bad reception area, staff seem ok and chill but some give off a certain weird vibe, gym is definitely worth the money you pay for.

Our gyms are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities. If you have any queries or concerns you can speak to the Gym Manager, you can speak to them on site or use the feedback box available in the gym which is regularly reviewed. Positive experience: Good gym but two areas in which I think you can improve on as others have said WIFI its essential here when your in treadmill and you wnat to watch something on your phone and you can't as there is no 4G signal at all. Please sort this issue out. Finally no classes at 2pm weekdays - think this would be popular as alot of people finish work close to this time. Better timings that 1pm. Something to consider perhaps

Negative experience: Gym looks nice and the equipment is new but it’s extremely busy all the time barely any equipment is available

Positive experience: I joined this gym few months ago and it was fantastic! But there are no more lunchtime classes!!! It was the only convenient time for me and really enjoyed the 30-mn workouts at lunch time - that’s a shame :/

Fantastic experience: I have 2 weeks since I started, nice tidy gym, has everything you need including classes which I still need to try. The cleaning is up to date I wish people be more careful with what they left behind.

Positive experience: It's a great gym all round in terms of access and equipment, but I have to echo what others have said in here. There. Is. No. Wifi. The infrastructure is there for wifi as there is a channel for the staff members working in the gym but there is no public wifi channel for the actual members being broadcast. It really feels like someone just forgot to turn the public channel on, can this please be addressed as it's been many weeks now this has been going on.

Positive experience: Nice gym, the equipment is very clean and new. However, there is no WiFi at all. No signal too, so you cannot even use your mobile data for long. Please download music on your phone i.e. via Spotify, if you want to go to this gym.

Fantastic experience: Great addition to the area. Spread over 2 floors, changing rooms, lockers, cycle studio and also separate studio for many classes. Extra thanks to Donovan, Dan and Celia. Every staff member I've spoken to is kind, friendly and helpful. Would recommend the place.

Fantastic experience: Have been in contact With Puregym as I wanted to know more about the memberships I have to say I can't fault their customer service very good.
