Fantastic experience: Nicest pool of the local leisure centre group with the best showers. Staff friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: Since the extension and the refurb of the gym, they now have a machine for everything. It's all new equipment, clean and tidy with helpful staff plus a swimming pool with a deep end so you can dive in. The centre attracts nice clientelle as well which makes going to the gym more enjoyable. Would recommend.

Negative experience: Absolutely vile place , had the worse experience today with my 4 year old nephew , he was so exited for his swimming lesson and left in tears, the swimming teacher was disrespectful and rude to him , the receptionist was the same , this leisure centre is not inclusive at all, I would advise you stay away if you or your child is neurodivergent.

Positive experience: Visited on 20/11/2022. Great place for pool parties. My kids love it. There was a rude woman on reception yesterday, however, that answered my queries in a very abrupt manner that management need to be aware of. It would make me think twice before booking.

Negative experience: Their swimming lessons for really little ones are not great. There's too many in the group in too small a space. They are on top of each other a lot of the time. I'm worried it's going to give my son a fear of swimming

Negative experience: RUDE BEHAVIOUR!! Came in today 13/07/2022 on a Wednesday at 10oclock. We kindly greated the man on the desk this morning, dark hair, on his 40s and he looked down on us, didn't even said anything. we asked if we could use the showers and he frowned, put down his pen rudely and with an attitude of a 12year old girl on her period he said "its 7.20 £... pp". Not the price, but HE put us off so much we didn't go in. what a disappointment, since the reviews are state the opposite.

Fantastic experience: As a disabled person the facilities for the swimming pool are first class. I attend Aqua Areobics. The instructors are great as are the rest of the staff. I use the disabled changing facilities which are perfect. I need my rollator to access the pool and leave it handy. My favourite time of the week.

Fantastic experience: I've just joined this gym for physio reasons after attending to use the pool with work. I live in Wrexham and have been to the pool there, also in Oswestry and Plas Madoch - all of which are included in the Freedom pass that you get with membership. This little leisure centre is by far the cleanest (in terms of changing rooms etc), and it's size means it's got a really nice atmosphere. It's also generally not overcrowded. I think it's a real gem and a bit of a find.
