Fantastic experience: Went to see about an injury and they gave great service and so many different alternatives for potential other things to do to help

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic session this morning with Mark and with Chelsea’s help we will be able to book onto future sessions with ease- finally!!

Negative experience: I signed up for a 3-month membership expecting it would automatically end, as that's what I was informed at signup—a key reason I chose the short-term option. After the 3-month period, payments continued without any notification, even though I haven’t used the facilities since. When I reached out, I was simply told that I should have read the terms and manually canceled it myself. If the membership was designed to roll over indefinitely, a notification or reminder would have been helpful. Disappointing service and poor communication, especially for customers who intentionally sign up short-term.

Positive experience: Great classes, lovely staff but as a PAYG member found it very difficult to get into a class. Logged on as soon as the classes opened to PAYG but only ever got on a waiting list. Class availability notification comes up very late - 4.47 am for todays 10:45 am class. Difficult to plan for or establish a routine. Probably fine as a full member.

Positive experience: My kids enjoying swimming lessons there.

Fantastic experience: Been spoilt last couple of weeks with kids being off, struggling to get a swim in this week with school lessons in the evenings! Staff very friendly, changing rooms are very clean and place is always tidy and clean.

Negative experience: I recently visited Wolverton Swimming Pool and Gym and was quite disappointed. The gym is very small and feels cramped, making it difficult to get a good workout. The staff seemed indifferent and didn’t show much care for the members. Additionally, the customer service was slow and unhelpful, which made the overall experience quite frustrating. I hope they can improve these aspects in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have only used the swimming pool during a general swimming session. It has a large one which has lanes and an area for families and a small learner's pool with water spray toys. Plenty of clean showers and changing facilities. As with most leisure centres - the swimming equipment they sell is pricey - buy elsewhere.

Negative experience: Taya a staff member was very rude and not helpful at all we was misinformed paid then had to get a refund she doesn’t seem Like she wants to work there awful customer service have used wolverton for years never had this issue

Fantastic experience: Have come here twice now with my toddler and it's been fantastic. The staff are all lovely, everything is clean and the facilities for parents in the changing area are incredibly helpful.

Negative experience: We got to the pool and was told that we had to wait an hour to go to the fun swim my sister and I was willing to wait but was not allowed to pay and wait inside we both cannot deal with heat and was told to wait outside but there are no seats out side and the weather is hot think you need to look at ur politics again and put seats outside ur swimming pool fir the older generation

Positive experience: Nice swimming pool facility. Can be a little crowded at peak times. Good changing facilities. Recommended.

Negative experience: Their swimming lessons are designed to maintain them in the same level for as much as they can minimum for 2 terms regardless of improvement. This makes it really costly. There is no feedback to learners even though they are small groups, only until the very last day of the term. There is no challenge or follow up for upper levels, very little teaching or practice. I took my little one in two different swimming venues at the same time, the difference is incredible and the advancement is so noticeable in the other one. I do not recommend Wolverton swimming lessons at all.

Negative experience: The swimming pool area is not clean. I can appreciate the staff is doing their part but the one time guests are not courteous towards the space and others. Everyone is barefooted inside and outside the area and not to mention that there are no checks for open wounds. Also only 3 private showers available for clients

Positive experience: Staff friendly and approachable, changing rooms OK. Pool, OK. Parking tight. We went on a Wednesday evening with the kids for swimming which they loved.

Fantastic experience: I love being here, it’s like being on holiday every day. Locker areas, showers always being cleaned and looked after. Sauna also steam room have recently been updated. Very busy during peak periods so choose off peak times would be my advice.

Positive experience: I do like the swimming pool but the shallow end is too shallow for 185cm/6feet2 man as I scrape the bottom of the pool when swimming front crawl

Fantastic experience: First time here today for the toddler splash and was amazed how clean it was. My little girl throughly enjoyed herself with the floats and buckets! Would recommend to arrive 15mins early as the queue was long for January so can’t imagine in the summer months.

Fantastic experience: Go every Saturday with my Grandson to the Fun Swim and it's great.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with wide range of kit covering everything you'd need, haven't been when it's too busy yet but have been told at peak it can get a little overloaded. Pool and area is scrupulously clean and lockers aplenty. Only problem I find is the changing cubicles are a little small but I'm hardly a slender reed! Steam room and sauna excellent but can get busy.

Fantastic experience: We go here for swimming lessons and it's a great leisure centre. The staff are always friendly. There's always somebody cleaning the swimming pool and changing areas. The air and water temperature are always comfortable. You can buy a nice cup of coffee from the small cafe and it's reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are excellent. They are either really professional or super friendly, and some are a mix of both. They have to deal with some difficult people for which I commend them. For pool members, access to the pool is good. Most regulars are friendly, some have a few bad habits which the staff do try and keep on top of. Showers, changing rooms, toilets, lockers and sauna are well maintained. Reception and pool area regularly cleaned.

Negative experience: The pool is okay besides the huge queues in the summer. But they have sneaky contract terms to rip customers off, a hateful practice. Specifically, their 3-month contracts automatically roll over, and they won't give your money back.

Fantastic experience: Great for swimming and Gym classes can get very busy at times. Membership is a decent price. Upkeep is good and clean

Positive experience: It is very clean and a good place to go. You take shoes off before entering the changing rooms . I went on a Sunday morning, which was quite busy as I took a 1 year old, so I will take him at a less busy time next time we go.

Fantastic experience: I go there swimming with my daughter and grandson, it is very clean and has friendly staff. Good, spacious changing facilities. Plenty of parking and a well equipped play park just outside.

Negative experience: Nice enough... but the timetable is terrible. How are most of the general swim sessions during school time? Makes no sense. Swimming used to be easily accessible but now it's a joke

Positive experience: Only went for the pool during term time and love they do a first come first serve on it rather than book as we got there and had space. Was quiet during half-term. The pool and changing rooms where really nice and clean plus the bonus of locked showers so you can have a proper was after was really nice. I like that shoes come off before you enter pool changing area this helped with cleanliness plus lockers took £1 which you get back after.

Negative experience: Pool always cold, seem more interested in money than providing a comfortable place staff unwelcoming. All in all a disappointing experience

Negative experience: Not surprised by the negative feedback I am seeing, some staff are rude and have an attitude problem not professional at all. I was told by another swimmer that I was splashing her too much and I was in the other lane I have swam for over 25 years in a number of pools around the country and I have never come across such entitled behaviour in my life. One of the young life guards was extremely rude and disrespectful wanted to be the local law enforcer lol what a joke. Very bigoted people in there!!! And it is very apparent.

Fantastic experience: Even though I joined last year I have not been very often due to health and other problems one gets at 76 ! But the staff have been marvellous with helping me to work around these problems so I could still get on with the fitness. All the staff have been great, Jordan has done wonders on my back, neck & shoulders, and I have enjoyed the spinning and palites classes but most of all is the warm welcome at reception from Pat with her beautiful smile. Negative experience: Good clean pool. However, amazingly unorganised during the weekend and managing flow

Positive experience: It's a nice pool but managed poorly. Had to wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes to join a fun swim session. The whole waiting system is nonsense when you ask families with young children to queue outside, complete disregard for pool users.

Positive experience: Nice pool but the entry system for the saturday fun swim is ridiculous, queueing outside in all weather to get in with children is a joke, lots of annoyed people waiting not wanting to dissapoint the kids ... please sort this shambles out

Fantastic experience: Have been attending the Swimming Program for the past 3 years (since my children turned 3) and it has been amazing. The instructors are great at building up not just their ability to swim but also their overall confidence to push themselves to learn new techniques. The have progressed steadily with great feedback. The facilities have everything you need; it is clean, well maintained with plenty of parking and a nice cafe for a coffee.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Membership is not expensive. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. There is a wide range of classes to choose from every day of the week. The gym equipment is easy to use. I would highly recommend this leisure facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: 25 m pool, unusually wide lanes, which is good, there is a distance between swimmers, the lockers and showers are working fine, there is a sauna and steam cabin, unfortunately the cubicle showers are a bit small and the walls aren't pure clean, overall a very nice swimming pool.

Fantastic experience: We arrived just before 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and had to queue outside until the fun swim session started at 2pm. There were plenty of people in the queue and the staff let us enter in groups to ease congestion in the changing rooms. Once entering we easily found a family changing booth and also a large locker. There were various floats and toys in both pools for the children to play with and our 4 year ols had lots of fun until our allocated time slot was up. Very much recommend the Saturday afternoon fun swim sessions for families with children.

Negative experience: Been to a lot of pools in different countries, this is the second pool I've been to in the UK and it was subpar standard in comparison. Very very shallow, very skinny lanes, very short distances. Value is ok I suppose but you're better off taking a dip in the canal near by.

Negative experience: Pool and facilities really clean but went for general swim which was advertised as 11-14 but were asked to get out the pool at 12:15 when I got to the front desk there was another family complaining about the same thing when I said doesn't say anything on the website about only an hour I was told by front desk staff that it does at the bottom of the page since arriving home I have checked the website twice and still can't find where it says only an hour in the water. I wouldnt have a problem if when paying we were told due to how busy it is we are limiting it to 1 hour at least then customers would have the choice but as it was I was told by one of the young lifeguards that our colour band time was up.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. Great pool. Ray and the team and the lady manager are incredible! Can’t speak highly enough of all the team.

Positive experience: Used the centre for swimming only. Cost is very cheap, compared to other local swimming centres, but the pool is smaller and slightly colder, but it was fine because it was a really hot day! Cafe prices were pretty good also, but my cappuccino was half empty. Big park with a large field just to the side of the leisure centre.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, clean, quiet and staff are very friendly and helpful. Offered free training programme too by PT Mark who is very knowledgeable and motivating. Such a nice place being able to move from gym to swimming to sauna seamlessly and never too busy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! At £43 month all inclusive its a bargain, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We take our toddler to sessions at the learner pool, nice and warm & clean. Sometimes queues for the beginning of sessions, but we haven't had to queue when we've arrived mid way through the public swim sessions.

Negative experience: I just made my membership today, I never saw rude staff like these people working there. If you are not white british, just don’t waste ur time to go there, you ll be treated like garbage. I just wait for 3 months to finish then I will cancel the agreement with them. Supposed to swim on a lane 6+ people on clockwise but everyone is just swimming how they want, after carefully looking where to swim to avoid hitting other people i was advised that i have to move from the specific lane, advised from a 16 years old girl from staff in a way that I was a garbage when I can be her father as I probably am double her age. Anyway, I was supposed to move from the specific lane with the excuse that there are too many people like it is my fault. And as well if you swim on lanes, be careful as staff says to don t stop while swimming so better drown instead of stop, as 15 years old girl can come to you and ask you to swim somewhere else. Just a tip for the staff, this is not a pool for euro olympics at swimming. I personally come due to a triple herniated discs so I have to swim to get recovered. Staff is really useless. Only 2 friendly persons I found when I made my card at the till. In rest, i never saw racists and rude british ppl working together in one place. Poor

Fantastic experience: Best pool ive ever been to.. we went for the fun swim and I was happy from the minute I called to find out the details. The staff were more than willing to help, so friendly and easy going, such a relaxed atmosphere. There was a lovely park for us to play in whilst we waited to go in, everything was clean and spacious with a modern feel. The pool was great, loads of toys and floats to play with, decent hairdryers at no extra cost and yummy coffee to end our afternoon. Cant fault this place. Will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work

Negative experience: Disappointed with the set up and customer service. Parent and Baby/toddler sessions start at 11:30 and last week we arrived at 11:20. We were not allowed in as it was full. We were told that we would need to wait 40 mins for the next session but could not pay and wait in the seating area by reception. We wanted to feed the baby as it would then surpass her feed time during the next session. We were told we should have arrived at 11am to avoid disappointment. So today arrived at 11:05 for the session and told we’re too early and cannot go through until 11:30… “Can we pay and wait in the seating area, feed baby before the swim?” “No we cannot let you in” Not busy, first in the “queue” seating areas are empty too! Okay…. Brilliant we will stand and wait at the desk for 20 mins. Senseless

Negative experience: Lovely staff and very friendly, but as a swimmer it’s getting very over crowded with 8 to 13 people trying to swim in the lanes.

Negative experience: its a shame, I have been a member for a few years now. I signed another joint membership in October but due to my wife not going any more I have tried to cancel the joint and just have my single.. they bluntly refused.. joint is £66 single £34.. during the pandemic closeure of the centre they emailed me and asked as they were a charity and non profit making, would I mind continuing to pay my fees... I said yes even though the centre was closed...!!! Loyalty doesnt always pay does it.. shame on their attitude

Positive experience: Was lovely and clean! We were informed when we arrived we may be limited to an hour if its busy and we're asked to leave after an hour and 15 minutes despite the fact the pool was far quieter than when we arrived. Will definatley go again but will mention the time factor and not feel forced out!!

Fantastic experience: Great toddler swim with my granddaughter today, lots of fun with teacher Karen and clean changing rooms. Staff very friendly, one kindly reminded me that I still had my woolly hat on as I was about to enter the pool!

Fantastic experience: very clean, staff are plentiful and helpful, plenty of parking and great location. Been a member for several years, great atmosphere for swimming with the family or training in the gym. Steam and sauna is great also!!

Positive experience: Always clean, warm and reasonably priced. I like the fact there are shower cubicles so you can shower properly. The lane swimming no longer has to be booked ahead which means people arrive and leave at varied times so the pool and showers do not get too busy. The parent and toddler sessions are pay as you go, 90 mins long so no fixed arrival time, good mix of fun and instruction. My only gripe is that the steam room and sauna are reserved for members which I think is a bit mean considering anyone can use the sauna at Buckingham pool.

Fantastic experience: 5 months old grandson learning swimming here. Slots allotted and coach available to coach in toddlers swimming pool. Separate pool is there for training grownups with coach support. For trained persons , space earmarked in the second pool.
