Fantastic experience: Luke Williams was our Salesman on the day who provided us with an amazing tour. He made it very enjoyable while coming to look around the golf club.

Positive experience: Lovely club, delicious food super nice location and very friendly staff. Sadly it feels a little neglected. The tables outside are never cleaned (when I asked about it I was given a roll to clean my table myself), the pool has no relaxing area after sauna and the gym is a bit dirty.

Positive experience: Affordable, welcoming for visitors, quirky course - not long but not easy. Sadly its condition is pretty bad these days especially the tees and bunkers. Needs investment in the course but the focus is more on the leisure element these days

Negative experience: Quirky course with tight fairways, pretty good bunkers and generally interesting. Probably the worst greens in Surrey, which is a shame, if they had any speed, consistency and roll it would be a 100% better.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful club

Fantastic experience: Attended Sight for Surrey golf fundraiser and had played once before, the course is difficult but really really well kept, utterly beautiful. The tee boxes couple be better marked on the yellows and reds, the whites can be set very far back and they are the only tee with an overview of the hole. I highly recommend playing here.

Positive experience: First time playing here and a challenging course, it's all about managing the holes (which I didn't ) lovely course and clubhouse, just a shame there isn't a halfway hut to get that needed bacon roll halfway round.

Positive experience: It's clean looks good. However the bar is expensive £7.40 for two apple juices!

Negative experience: Very expensive considering it's almost impossible to get onto classes, particularly on Monday and Wednesday, not really teenager friendly in that little in the way of permitted times or activities. Not the friendliest members. And takes days if not weeks to resolve issues. There are much more suitable alternatives nearby for me providing leisure and fitness activities.

Fantastic experience: Just celebrated my dad's 80th birthday in the restaurant. Sunday lunch for14 of us plus a little one. Staff were fantastic, food was delicious and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend and will visiting again soon. Thank you.

Negative experience: We recently moved to the Cranleigh area, and looked into the option of joining Cranleigh Country Club with my son who is 14 years old so we can do some family visits during the week in the evenings and at weekends. We have been members in the past and have enjoyed our experience there. Unfortunately we found that our son, even thought accompanied by his parent, was not able to use the gym or in fact any other facility at the Club after 6pm on weekday nights. The membership is not a small outlay, costing over £100 per month for my son & I, which is a premium to other leisure facilities, hence we wanted to make use of the club together in the evenings but I was told this was not possible, and with my son not able to get back from school until 5pm or after most days, he & I would not be able to get to the club to have a meaningful visit before 6pm. I did raise my concerns with the administration staff at the Club and was told I would hear back from the manager however that has not happened to date. It is disappointing in this 'day and age', particularly with the lessons that the COVID pandemic has taught us, that leisure facilities have not considered adopting policies and schedules to create an environment which is more conducive for families. We do understand that certain clubs do not wish to have lots of young children in the evening however you can set up more flexible rules to strike a balance and ensure that facilities like Cranleigh Country Club are more family friendly during the week. In fact, when we visited at 8pm on a Tuesday evening, the gym was practically empty with one person in attendance. We are not aware of other leisure facilities, public or private in the area, who have such restrictions which prevent fathers and/ or mothers taking their U16 children in the evening. Whilst the Club were kind enough to remind us that there are teen gym times between 3.30-5.30 Monday to Friday, (with parent/guardian to accompany on certain days), most children are not back from school early enough to make good use of these options so it seems like a bit of a 'token' gesture. The Club has some pleasant facilities and some friendly, polite staff however we and other families we have spoken to, who may have considered joining, feel management could reconsider visiting their policies on this matter. Currently if you are looking for a family friendly environment during the week after 6pm for your U16s, it's worth looking at other options that are more open to creating less of any adult-centric weekday evening environment and one that is more family friendly.

Fantastic experience: Just renewed my membership post lock down etc. Forgot how it feels driving in dropping down a gear or two in mind body and car. Then when entering the clubhouse that warm inviting friendly atmosphere, almost a therapy itself. Well worth the money. Best thing I've done for yonks.

Positive experience: Attended a black tie dinner here. Cannot speak for the sports facilities, but the clubhouse is modern and fit for purpose. Some parts appear dated, but I believe they are trying to maintain their history.

Fantastic experience: The best decision Ive ever made was to join up. Eight weeks later after aqua fit, pilates,poolates,barre and two lovely lunches , Im even more pleased.

Fantastic experience: Very nice course with only 1 “filler” hole that’s a 90 yard par 3. Great fairway and green conditions and interesting challenges on some. Obviously being a country club too it’s a nice place to get a drink afterwards. I had a great time besides the score lol.

Positive experience: Friendly staff in reception/bar area. Golf course tougher than it looks off the whites Can be a Little confusing over tee layout. Would recommend anyone who gets the chance to go & play it. ONLY down side is food Not available until10.00am & Half way hut not open. So if teeing off as we were at 10.20 you could end feeling hungry & tired ! If not for food would have given 5 stars

Positive experience: Played on a society day, the course is relatively short and the overall layout and design is somewhat quirky, it does make for a good society day. The condition of the course is acceptable, greens a little slow, fairways patchy in places but overall I think it represents good value for money. The bar and outside seating areas are excellent and staff very accomodating

Positive experience: Nice clubhouse, course very wet and based on clay so would suggest it is somewhere to avoid after heavy rain. Interesting course design but signage between holes needs to be improved as it is an unusual layout and not always obvious where next tee is.

Fantastic experience: We have visited a few times recently for their Sunday Dinner, and it has excelled on each occasion. I would happily enter a visit for every Sunday into my diary if it were up to me..... but it is not! The roast dinner is fabulous as are their Surrey Burgers.

Shame, as l was previously a member and used to enjoy coming here. Should really rate this experience as one star but based on my enjoyment of the facilities in the past l have rated it a three. Not the way to treat potential clients...

Positive experience: Christmas work do held here, a but hard to find the entrance on the country road me and many other guests were driven padt it by our taxis and then had to do a turn in a tight road to go back to find it. Better signage would be good but when i found it was nice. Food ok and timely.
