Fantastic experience: Been playing squash regularly for about 4 or 5 months now. Really good facilities, great courts and the staff are really nice and knowledgable too.

Fantastic experience: My daughter lost her special necklace at St Augustine's - on a Sunday, of course, and Tim not only responded to our panicked messages but met up with us to return it on his own time. What a star. We are so grateful.

Negative experience: I have had to leave one star on this review but actually it should be a zero! I feel totally let down and extremely disappointed with the management of this venue. Tim, the Manger of the St Augustine’s Sports Centre cancelled my 7 year daughters, who has additional needs, gymnastics party 6 days before it was due to go ahead. He then made continuous empty promises to me that he would make alternative arrangements to ensure that my daughters party would still be able to go ahead. He continuously moved goal posts causing me additional anxiety and stress. Thank god Karen and Mark at the Cube in Wildcroft Road pulled out all the stops and were able to come to our rescue to host the party there instead as there would have been one totally devastated little birthday girl along with 14 other 7 year old little girls! Tim on the other hand showed a total lack of empathy. For a Catholic Church run charity to be able to cancel a 7 year old girls party so last minute without offering an alternative is absolutely unforgivable. As a member of the Catholic Church I will not be using this venue again.

Fantastic experience: I play squash here most weeks. It's a decent price and place is generally pretty clean with lots of space. Staff friendly and always happy to help. You can borrow rackets and balls for free if needed. Decent looking gym and good quality cha going rooms. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Started going to this gym a couple of weeks ago, can't fault it! Really friendly staff and not that big. Must admit I've never been a big fan of going to the gym but feel really comfortable at this place so I may get fit Yet!

Fantastic experience: Me and my girlfriend go to the gym hear and its only 3pound per person! So only 6pound each time we go so theres no contract at all. the atmosphere is very peiceful relaxing staff are kind and friendly and resepctful. And if you dont no what you want to do in the gym or dont no what to do the staff are kind and will assist you with any concerns in using the sports centere E.g the gym!

Positive experience: It's a small, friendly place. Gym. Squash. Badminton and boxing

Positive experience: Friendly staff, good place to take kids. We usually book the sports hall and play football but they do have badminton, basketball, squash, gym and changing rooms/showers available. They also have offers/discounted prices on certain days.

Positive experience: Surprisingly busy for squash and badminton, didn't see the gym so can't say how it is, worth going to if you want to start playing badminton for a social club and league Also can book room sports hall for football, badminton, basketball etc for indoors matches Cheaper going in the weekend for badminton as court prices during the week are kinda high unless part of club Had to call up to ask about badminton court and no longer has the facilities for it which is a shame
