Positive experience: Great place to pump iron, burn calories and be active while being spoilt by the choices of classes with an innovative booking system. All of the staff I have met are kind and keen to help. Mixture of client base from all walks of life conversing in the steam room or the sauna. Loneliness is the biggest disease of the 21st Century. Be healthy in body and mind . Victoria Leisure are also very competitive with their member's fees. Some of the members have been in Victoria for 20+ years! Say no more. The Sauna is on the small side with a capacity of 5. Secure points to lock bicycles is a bonus I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Rejoined the gym and had a thorough induction based on my specific needs. The instructor was polite friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and asked me at each stage of the induction activities how I was feeling. I thought that this was a nice touch. Thankyou

Fantastic experience: Victoria Leisure has good facilities with a good range of classes. I came to a fantastic Zumba class on Saturday and got a high energy HIIT work out on Sunday by booking by phone on a PAYG basis. There's a small cafe area as well.

Fantastic experience: Its a one stop "shop" for keeping fit. Gyms, Swimming, Sauna & Steam Room. Keep fit /Swimming Classes for all ages with a great friendly staff and atmosphere. VERY clean work out areas and swimming pools..A coffee shop as well, to relax after a hard, or easy session.What's not to like?

Fantastic experience: Great exercise venue in Southport. Inside a building which was public baths in the Victorian era. Three swimming pools, weights and exercise machines, studios for classes, café area. Friendly staff. Reasonable membership fees. Kept nice and clean.

Positive experience: Got all you could ask for, more or less. Bit of a rabbit warren with rooms / gyms up and down stairs and round corners. But I suppose that I will get used to it.
Thanks Paul your observations are welcome from earlier this year, and yes it has its own character of layout being 150 year old building for sure. Negative experience: Very small pools that are consistently too populated making swimming a chore as you constantly have to zig zag around others and avoid the time wasters having a social meeting in there. The gym is also cramped and has quite an oppressive feeling like I'd imagine a prison gym to be. Victorian leisure would be a more apt name for this place, there's a reason modern gyms are open and full of light.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are good and up-to-date. The staff are friendly, helpful and remember your name. Pool could be a tad warmer. COVID-19 systems are good but some members can be lax in following the rules.

Negative experience: We are in Southport for a month and wanted to 'gym' while we are here. Toured the facility and then toured DW Fitness (8 min walk away) and there is no comparison. £35 v £50 is a no brainer. Straight to DW Fitness for their clean, well set out and modern facility.

Fantastic experience: Best gym and leisure centre in Southport, lots of classes and three pools. Great deals on the family members and everyone is super friendly and always offer to help or offer support. Been member in the past but recently rejoined. Lots of gym space so never feels over crowded, good equipment and selection of classes, also we all love the hydrotherapy area. Thankyou to all the staff that keep this place on point. This place is One of southport’s hidden gems in my opinion.

Positive experience: It has been a very unpleasant experience. I know we have restrictions still in place, but I phoned up to visit the swimmingpool. The person forgot to inform me that it is for only members at this point. So I turned up with my children and was sent away that it is booked and unfortunately they can not help us. So I am sharing this information so people don't experience the same thing.
It is really unfortunate Judit that in the gap between your phone call, and actually coming to visit us, that members had filled the available bookings. Our experienced team are taking 10 or 12 calls a day on this subject and we do make it clear that when you arrive as a day user, there is always a chance we cannot accommodate you. We hope you will phone to try again and we can welcome you and your children. This has only happened on a small number of occasions and with the easing of more restrictions in June, we hope we can revert to the previous ‘no restrictions’ at some point. I'vechad some health issues n not been able to go but they have allowed me to suspend my membership and I just need to turn up when I'm ready to get exercising again n my membership wilbe reactivated. Only down side is the pool n changing rooms downstairs so if you can't manage stairs you are stuck.
