Harrow School Sports Centre

Fantastic experience: We joined the gymnastics summer camp for 4-12yo kids class, the teachers are well trained and make all the kids enjoy the activities, the venue is nice and tidy I am considering to join the swimming lessons as well.

Negative experience: I have never had such an ableist and humiliating experience before. First when I could finally reach someone at the pool (I think Victoria was her name, a bit older woman) - to ask about the accessibility she straight up started talking to someone else about their girlfriend like I wasn't on the phone. When she started talking to me again she did not once apologized. She assured me that the facility is accessible and can easily be reached with public transport. So I bought the daily pass through Hussle. My nurse and I got off the buss and couldn't find the way to the pool. 2 men were taking care of the fountain and when asked where the pool is they were smirking at me and acted like they don't know only because I was in a wheelchair. Two grown up men in 2024 still finding funny and embarrassing to talk to a disabled person. Finally a lady has arrived and told us she'd show us the way and I quote; it's not far and I help you with the wheelchair. Well it was down a hill, then up a hill, then around and I personally still can walk but it is risky for me as I can collapse and a fall would definitely paralyze me. Which I expressed. When we walked up to the two men btw I slipped and almost fell. We finally saw a building but unfortunately she told us that we either have to walk down another hill or go to the other way where's like 20 stairs!!! And she kept telling me oh you can make it I help with the wheelchair. I told my carer I am calling a taxi because I couldn't even stand anymore let alone walk more. Absolute trash people, humiliating a disabled person. If this is what you are teaching in the school I am deeply concerned about the younger generations. No empathy whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: We go here for my son's private swimming classes. The pool is clean and the staff is very attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for swimming lessons.

Fantastic experience: This is a great facility operated by the school but made available to local residents for use when boys are at scho work. The swimming pool and gym are well maintained. There is a Badminton and multi utility sports hall on the campus. A number of activities such as Yoga, Boxing, etc are conducted and made available to members and non-members. Staff is great and is always helpful..

Negative experience: The facilities and tutors at this place are good, however when I try to contact admin team regarding getting an access to see my child's report etc, they take ages to reply and still the problem has not been solved. I wish you had a better team who would be efficient in answering emails.

Fantastic experience: The ground is meant for boys from Harrow school. There is footpath and other sports facilities that public can use. Very nice open space.

Fantastic experience: This is a very well maintained sporta complex situated on the Harrow School campus, which is well hidden within the north west of London. I was a guest, but there seems to be plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy. Tennis, track, badminton, swimming, and possibly other sports I didn't get to see on my badminton visit. Will review further once I get a chance to explore the centre.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible gym and pool. Even more terrible is their RUDE, HARRASSING staff. The manager of the facility has zero knowledge of how to deal with customers. Making false accusations. ZERO Customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this center. Other customers have similar complaints. Tiny pool. Mostly closed for public - both gym and pool. Hours in entire 7 days are fixed for harrow boys. Changing room is small and dirty. No sauna, steam room or jacuzzi. Would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: What tedious and aggressive staff!! The pool facilities are good enough. The team on reception tho, what an uptight bunch. Emma Rollings in particular. When I disputed what she had to say, she said I could speak to the manager, even though a manger wasn't available. Then failed to give me any details. She was shaking with rage. I've encountered receptionists like this before, leave you waiting for 20mins for absolutely no reason. 0 POINTS FOR PEOPLE SKILLS
