Fantastic experience: Great selection of equipment for strength training and cardio workouts. Gym floor has a good layout and even at peak times it never feels over crowded. 3 weight lifting platforms and plenty of dumbbells as well. Changing rooms and spa facilities are as you would expect for a premium health club. Good location if you stay in the west side of Edinburgh.

Fantastic experience: Great facilities for the gym, racket sports, and spa. Maja made the joining process seamless, explaining everything clearly and thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: I recently re-joined David Lloyd after 2 years away. Thanks to Emily and Craig, the process was very smooth and completed in a matter of minutes, and I’m already enjoying being back, making use of the excellent facilities and welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: After a very informative tour of the facilities by Maja in the sales dept. I joined the club two weeks ago and since then I have been enjoying social tennis, the pool and my first session with Callum a personal trainer in the gym.

Fantastic experience: Was delighted with the tour from Maja, she answered all the questions and took the time to show us everything. Facilities are brilliant, the gym is top class and the pool and spa facilities are perfect. PTs are great whatever your circumstances and will happily work with you to help achieve the goals you set. Highly recommend for anyone considering it, you will not be disappointed.

Positive experience: This is a very good facility, particularity for families with younger children. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant food is disappointing though, especially at the price point.

Fantastic experience: From our first visit to David Lloyds in Corstorphine to have a tour and meeting sales team member Maja our first impression was wow, then onto the tour and the wow factor just kept coming, the whole club just feels right and a great place to exercise, relax and enjoy a bit of recuperation, definitely well worth the membership fee and looking forward to continuing our weight loss journey with David Lloyds, I can only give a 5 star rating but in my opinion it’s definitely worth a higher rating, Thanks Maja and all the team

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the David Lloyd and the whole experience has been fantastic, from the initial tour, to range of excellent classes such as yoga, cycling, and blaze. The PT class with Craig was also brilliant, as are the spa facilities and clubroom. Would highly recommend to anybody looking to improve their health and join a like minded community!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently joined David Lloyd corstorphine and my experience so far has been wonderful. Georgia helped me with the onboarding and answered any questions I had. My two kids have been to swim easy with Lewis, who was absolutely incredible with them and really out them at ease. They also attended design squad/science which they loved. Every member of staff I’ve come across has been incredibly kind and helpful, which adds to the friendly/community feel of the place. I’m so glad I joined and cannot recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: I was a member 15 years ago and recently joined again. I'm impressed with how good the gym is looking upstairs, very different from when I was last there. Staff have been lovely, Emily was fantastic taking me round showing me the gym and getting me all setup with my membership. Had my first PT session with Aaron and really pleased with how that went. Looking forward to making the most of the gym.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience at the club since joining. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and create a real luxury experience. The classes I’ve attended so far have been great, really well organised with a fun atmosphere. Everything is so clean in the changing rooms which makes a difference to your experience. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone interested.

Negative experience: Just went to this place for a research for my new gym and was super disappointed of how sales person presented to me this place. Actually we seated in lobby and sales manager almost didn’t ask any questions about my plans and expectations from membership. Zero interest to sell me and my wife membership.

The luxuary facilities and attention to detail in this gym was absolutely beautiful. I found the machines easier to understand and cleaner than many other companies and I could really see why this brand has such a high reputation. The staff were lovely and receptionist Sophie made sure I felt comfortable and informed on my guest visit. What a lovely day and I’m very excited to get my own membership

Special shoutout to Ross at reception, who always greets you with a smile and makes you feel so welcome from the moment you step in. I also have to give a huge thank you to my personal trainer, Cameron, who has completely transformed my gym experience. I used to feel unsure and unmotivated, but Cameron’s support and guidance have given me the confidence to enjoy working out again. His tailored programs and encouraging approach have made such a positive impact on both my fitness and mindset. If you're looking for a gym with an incredible team that genuinely cares about your fitness journey, this is the place to be.

Negative experience: What a shambles been a member of David Lloyd for years and it’s getting beyond a joke I work away from home and have explained this so many times my throat hurts been turned away from clubs now after being told you can use all of them! Turned up with a friend from work and was going to use my guest pass and the lady at reception said I couldn’t come in as only home members are allowed in I explained I work away from home and am just visiting and could she make an exception. No was her answer as I’m at the front desk with a friend! By the way it’s the middle of the day and they weren’t that busy how utterly pathetic what a disgrace and to then tell me to drive another 25mins to the other club I can almost understand this rule in regards to not letting the other two Edinburgh clubs just swarm into that one I get it but surely when you’re home club is Lincoln and you’re just visiting this is very different, I’m absolutely raging seriously considering cancelling my membership as it’s getting ridiculous

Positive experience: Decent Gym but usual issues , cyclone class bikes keep dropping out and body hub not working again.. definitely not at star experience

Fantastic experience: I was recently shown around the gym by Emily Halcro and found her to be very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. She made us feel very comfortable and went above and beyond in providing a robust introduction to a fantastic premises. She is an absolute credit to the organisation and is a key reason we will be leaving our usual gym to take on a new membership at David Lloyd.

Fantastic experience: Been a member at DL for years now but only starting using all the facilities recently! I’ve been having PT sessions with Kyle and they’re just great! He’s really pushing me to lift heavier each session a reminding me that building muscle and being strong isn’t just for men! Would highly recommend him to anyone. I have also been doing regular Blaze classes with Charlotte and Graeme and they are just great. Fab classes with fab instructors. The pool is also lovely.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH. THEY WILL BILL YOU INACCURATELY AND THEN SELL THE DEBT TO DEBT COLLECTORS. THEY WILL FAIL TO RESOLVE MATTERS AND ALLOW THEIR DEBT COLLECTORS TO CHASE MONEY NOT OWED. ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS COMPANY. They have subsequently been in touch and continue to lie and falsely claim we haven't cancelled the membership when we did. Steer clear if these sharks who think they can lie to you and keep taking your money.

Fantastic experience: Joined DL around a month ago and everything has been first class. From our initial tour around the facilities with Steven to our PT sessions (with Ryan and Aaron) included in the membership. The PT sessions are a great addition to build that initial confidence in the gym. Everyone who organises and runs the classes are super friendly too and make you feel welcome - never a silly question either!
