Negative experience: Shittiest gym I've been to, super expensive and got nothing but bodybuilding stuff.. Staff is useless and very unhelpful.. I was forced to move houses after about 6 months of me paying for a year upfront at this crap gym, and when I called in for a partial refund the girl told me I needed to come IN PERSON on a WEEK DAY MORNING to speak to her manager to get the refund which I did, and he flat out said no refunds even though I'm owed about 200 pounds and it wasn't my fault I couldn't go to this gym anymore.. Inhumane, trash gym just don't join because you're better off at a JD gyms or a PureGym since it's cheaper and way better equipped.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to. Equipment is top of the range and always expanding. Good atmosphere never too busy from what I've seen and there's more than enough stations to get quality sessions in even at peak times. Layout of the gym is bang on, everything is where you'd expect it to be, 10/10.

Negative experience: Equipment is top notch Mens changing rooms are absolutely minging , stink, water everywhere just generally awful. No water machine which is shocking considering the price of a membership. General cleanliness is poor.

Positive experience: Best gym I've ever been to. The only reason it's got 4 stars is that a day pass is £9.50 but minimum card payment is £10 which seems deliberate to make you spend more money. Nonetheless, highly recommended and will definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Me and a couple of lads from our local gym in barnsley visited here today and like the one in rotherham we cant fault it, some incredible equipment and nice staff, enjoyed it so much we didnt realize we had been in nrly 3 hours, Only complaint is you havent opened one in barnsley yet ...Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: I was in the area for work and found this gym. Great equipment and good atmosphere. Parking was great and I've come from a pure gym so the music was spot on for me. This gym may scare the average gym goer as it is full of men the size of wrestlers and muscle mummys

Fantastic experience: Love this Gym. Staff are amazing. The gym is always clean. Music is excellent for working out to. Showers are clean & brilliant. Clientele in the gym is all helpful too. Everyone loves working out & this shows, vibe is amazing.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area by a mile. No expense spared on machines. Super clean well looked after and the trainers look in peak condition compared to the skinny 17 year olds you get in most mediocre gyms. Well worth paying a little extra to be a member.

Awesome range of machines, lots of space, especially now with the new mezzanine. Very friendly staff and management. If you're a serious athlete or serious about training, I'd highly recommend Ultra flex Normanton
