Positive experience: Has what you need to get a decent workout done it's just a generally small gym so may get busy during peak hours. some of the kit is not the best and seems a bit dated. Very clean and tidy considering it's not staffed all of the time so more for those who know what they're doing as help is not always available.

Negative experience: As a former member of several SnapFitness gyms around the London area, I expected consistent quality when I joined the SnapFitness Crosshands location while traveling between Wales and London. Unfortunately, the quality at this particular gym is subpar. Let me start by acknowledging the staff - they are excellent and very helpful. However, the issues seem to stem from higher management. The air conditioning is either minimal or non-existent, leaving the gym feeling uncomfortably humid at all times. The temperature regulation is inconsistent, with upstairs being too cold and downstairs being too hot. Downstairs, the gym has an unpleasant odor that hits you as soon as you open the door. While gyms can have occasional smells, this one is persistent. The management's attempt to mask the smell with overpowering air fresheners only makes the situation worse. Properly filtering the air with the existing ventilation system would be a better solution. The showers and disabled facilities downstairs are frequently unclean, and the treadmills appear to have accumulated dust since the gym's opening, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. While the gym employs a cleaner who comes in the morning, a two-hour cleaning shift is inadequate for a 24/7 facility. After four months as a member at SnapFitness Crosshands, I have decided to cancel my membership and move to another gym. As mentioned earlier, the staff is excellent, but it seems the owner or management needs to take the lead in addressing these recurring issues. Despite raising these concerns multiple times, both personally and echoed by other members, no improvements have been made. Unfortunately, while I am willing to trade 24/7 access for a cleaner gym, this particular SnapFitness location is by far the worst out of the five I have been a member of, despite being the newest. I did not want to post this publicly, but leaving feedback on numerous occasions with no changes made me feel this was the best course of action.

Positive experience: Nice ppl n venue. But 8 been out of action for 15 years so bit rusty in places. But inten to get back into it again. )

Fantastic experience: Just popped in to see if I could get a day pass as stopping overnight at Travelodge. Reception were extremely accommodating and what a good set out of equipment. Nice warm colours too . Will definitely visit again when I'm next down here on my travels with work.

Fantastic experience: Cannot fault this gym! The atmosphere is always great, friendly staff that welcome you. The facilities are well kept and always so clean, never see broken and worn out equipment. The gym has amazing personal trainers, really could not recommend Steve and the gang enough. I have come so far in my fitness journey with his training and knowledge. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Where do I start been a member at this gym for nearly a year and the motivation is still going strong for me,cut a long story short I was bullied at my school gym badly and due to that I vowed never to set foot in a gym ever again but I decided that due to failing mental health I needed to do something different and healthy to accompany my rowing and cycling and try to get back on top of my mental health and this gym has done everything possible to help me.due to my very busy work/family lifestyle I can workout after staffed hours but this is perfect in every way thanks to the 24hr access for members.everything is top notch and clean including the toilets and showers and if anything is broke it’s promptly fixed within a few days.lovely atmosphere with all the members and staff alike and i never see any aggression or gym rage every one is friendly and I’ve even made new friends.staff very helpful and polite and will go out there way to assist you and a special shoutout to Katie the receptionist always a pleasure to chat to and full of good advice even when she’s working out herself.snap crosshands have changed my outlook on going to the gym for good,I absolutely love it thanks guys

Fantastic experience: I’d give 10 stars if I could haha! 10/10 for this gym! I joined SnapFitness about a year ago and I haven’t looked back since! I hadn’t been to a gym in over 6 years and I honestly wish I started here much sooner! All of the staff are so polite - always willing to help show you how to use equipment and always saying “Hello” or “Thank you” when you enter/leave the gym. SnapFitness has been a big part of my weight loss journey, just the boost that I needed! I even plucked up the courage last week to do my first gym class which was such a good experience for me. Bonus points that it’s a very clean hygienic gym - equipment is constantly getting cleaned!

Positive experience: Good equipment and spaces. WiFi is a bit dodgy at times, never too busy though and staff are kind. Facilities are also good, changing rooms/showers and there's free to use hair dryers and straighteners. Great price and great gym definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym well over a year ago and really liked the warm and welcoming atmosphere I received. Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable especially Nia who is assisting me along my fitness journey! I enjoy attending the classes on a weekly-basis, tending to take the early morning ones before work. There is a good choice of equipment for all abilities.

I go when it's never too busy, so feels like you got the whole gym to yourself. Plenty of gym equipment and they're always looking to expand with new machines, even asking what machines we would like to see. Challenges every month which is motivating. Really enjoy the place

Fantastic experience: I've only been coming here for two months but I love it already. Staff are all really friendly, the gym floor is consistently spotless and being 24 hours means I can fit my routine around my shifts. Great range of machines and weights to please everyone.

Negative experience: Omg, that's the worst I've ever experienced! Had just finished shopping across from this gym and decided to take a look and see about joining. Upon arriving at the front door which was locked, I could see 4 people, one of which was the gym manager? Who knows, but as far as being rude was concerned this guy definitely gets the managers badge. On opening the door, he stood in my way as to not allow me access, then asked how can I help ya buddy! I'm with a client!, I was just wondering about joining was my response, but with his attitude rolled my eyes at him and walked away. Very abrupt and very unwelcoming. GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Snapfit for over a year now. I still love it. The staff are always friendly, the unstaffed hours are convenient. I love Nia's classes as she pushes hard but gets results and Sara's relaxing yoga. I'm a 6am attender so they are now the only classes I go to. (Sorry Steve and Chloe). Facilities are great and your opinions are always taken into account by management. Showers have recently been redone. All in all a fab Gym that I couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic experience: Great gym full of brand new equipment, with free weights up to 60kg, and plenty of cardio equipment, including two stair climbers. The atmosphere in the gym is brilliant, very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, each member of the snap gang has a can do and helpful attitude. Perfect location with plenty of convenient shops nearby, easy to access and plenty of car parking spaces.

The guys are super friendly and make you feel welcome immediately - no big egos or bravado, a nice family run feel to the business. Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in the area. Opening hours are very beneficial to many who work long hours. The equipment is new and of high quality and plenty of it at that! Plenty of good kit to get the job done. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much of an ask. They are super friendly people and are very easy to approach for advice. All members of staff go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. Snap fitness Cross Hands offer a "taster session" which for me, is a nice touch. This includes a detailed tour around the facility as well as 1 free session on your first visit. Who doesn't like a try before you buy? ❤️
