Fantastic experience: Was looking for somewhere to train having travelled up from Sheffield to Edinburgh through work. Spartan is a good old fashioned hardcore gym with really helpful and friendly staff. Was perfect for my 2 day working away from home and at just £4 via the Hussle App, what's not to love about this cracking little gym. 10 out of 10!
Fantastic experience: What a great old school gym! Not the newest or cleanest gym, but that’s the whole point. I loved lifting in Spartan while in Edinburgh. Nice to also have a gym with proper dumbbells (that go up to 160lbs!!) The owner was very friendly and helpful. Day passes go for £5.

Positive experience: It depends what you're looking for, this gym was filthy and some of the equipment looked right unsafe. It had a bodybuilding vibe to it but unfortunately not quite what I was looking for. The staff were very helpful and chatty but please update your stuff man and have it cleaned.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant, no frills, hardcore gym. Expert advice from John so you can’t go wrong. Serious trainers only. You don’t go to this gym to pose and look in the mirrors.
