Heywood is a welcoming and inclusive sports and fitness club in Diss, Norfolk.

The fastest growing sport on the planet, Padel is the easiest racket sport to play at entry-level; beginners can enjoy a game after just a few minutes of coaching.

Heywood offers a small gym with a selection of cardio machines, resistance machines and a variety of free weights; suitable for anyone who wants to improve their strength and fitness.

Boasting a state-of-the-art SkyTrak golf simulator, private bar, pool table, poker table and big screen TV; SHOTS allows you to play some of the world's best courses whilst relaxing with friends.

Constructed in the summer of 2019, our Padel courts are a fantastic addition to the sports facilities available at the club; everyone who has tried Padel at Heywood is now a racket-owning regular.

The fastest growing sport on the planet, Padel combines the basics of Tennis with solid rackets (paddles) and glass walls, slowing the ball and keeping it in play.

Padel is a very accessible sport, anyone can play; you just need to find three people to play with (it's a doubles game) and we'll provide the rackets, balls and a little coaching to get you going.

No matter who you are, your age or appearance, your gender or beliefs; everyone is welcome to experience the genuine excitement and real fun we have at our classes.

Fitness needn’t be boring or relentless, it should be awesome and addictive! We want your heart racing, your endorphins flowing and your smiles beaming from ear to ear!

We'd love to meet you and are always pleased to see our members, so feel free to visit during opening hours for a chat and a cuppa, or a drink at the bar.

The club is located in the north-east corner of Diss, immediately next to Diss High School, on Walcot Road. You can reach us via Mount Street, Uplands Way or Walcot Green.

Positive experience: Lovely AstroTurf Football pitch And everything else only problem is i had to wait 3 or so minutes till a member of staff would go to the reception
