Fantastic experience: Great gym! I have Dylan as my personal trainer and in just a month I’ve lost half a stone. I’m always anxious going into gyms as usually full of ‘posers’ but this gym is by far the most down to earth place. If you are struggling with self confidence get one of the trainers here and I promise you it will change your life. Lots of equipment and always clean. Everyone down to earth.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back! Waites is the best, no-nonsense gym I've been a member of. Catering for everyone, you'll be welcomed here, no matter what your fitness goals are. I've been in gyms which are full of posers, sneering at fresh-start members, or 'body beautifuls' who feel entitled to first choice on all the equipment, even at busy times. This is not what you'll find in Waites. Every user is considered, and there really is something for everyone. From classes, to solo training, and all in between. Best gym for miles!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I'm happy to travel from Mossley as it's a great spot. Lots of space, good classes included in membership, and friendly staff/members. Opening hours okay and always clean. Also has decent heavy bags and good weights equipment.

Positive experience: Nice clean gym with a diverse range of equipment. Would prefer to see more lifting cages as these quickly fill up, leaving you frustrated if you've a heavy day planned. The staff are helpful and friendly. Members tend to keep themselves to themselves (i.e. there does not appear to be a culture of 'working in' to share equipment, that's been my experience anyway).

Fantastic experience: Well kitted out gym with a load of machines, a free weights area and a general purpose space. Another bench or two may help a bit but generally there is everything you need. Plenty of squat racks and weight lifting platforms. Staff are also friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience: A decent selection of machines, and not too overcrowded, very good for a local gym for myself. Staff are very friendly, however not just friendly they are very inclined to help individuals, which is great for those seeking advice or wanting to start somewhere. The gym itself has a very motivating environment, personally, i'll be sticking to this place.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately only had about 40mins to train here but really enjoyed it. The lady who worked there was lovely. Plenty of equipment to use. Whenever we come back to Ballyclare we will definitely come back here.
