Fantastic experience: At school I was bullied pretty bad & I was beaten up one day at the start of year 7... a group of year 11's kindly took me under their wing and looked after me from that point on 2 in particular. After they left school we kept in touch & remained pen pals for a good few years (no phones back then) & it makes me feel old!... fast forward 20 years - after many years of lost contact, that same kind person, who is now known as Master J, who helped me. Is now helping my son with the exact same issues! teaching him self defence and to grow in confidence. I couldn't be any happier or more greatful for all the support to Fin from not only Jason Bonthuys but the whole team @ martialartworld! Literally 2nd to none and everyone goes above & beyond to make him feel comfortable. Lastnight my boy passed his 1st grading with the help of the team and I am so incredibly proud of him! Thank you everyone. You are all amazing Just goes to show its not just a job they are genuinely the kindest people even from a young age ❤️

Fantastic experience: As a new family to the area we joined Martial Art World and we are so glad we did. It has a really friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The facilities are great and both my children love attending their classes which cater for all abilities. The instructors are consistently positive and always make learning fun. We definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: A great martial arts training school for anybody interested in martial arts. Offering two very different martial arts, taekwondo and kickboxing, it caters to individuals and families of all different interests, with the opportunity to train both at the same time. The instructors all have a wealth of experience and are great at breaking down moves into small manageable chunks, allowing for seamless learning. There is a steady progression system with regular grading, allowing you to get into it from being an absolute beginner. The school has some really unique features, namely a large purpose-built facility which adds to the experience. Moreover, the classes are separated by ability, and you find yourself moving up the ranks with those you joined with, making for an enjoyable and almost collaborative journey. Overall I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. It's an incredibly welcoming school and is very well suited for those who are a bit unsure or a bit nervous to start!

Fantastic experience: Its not often I write reviews, but felt Martial arts world, the Bonthuys Family, & Mr Dawson deserve Praise for the environment they have achieved in there school. For anyone starting out for the first time or for someone who is trying to get back into martial arts after a hiatus ''like Myself'' will be met with a warm family atmosphere as soon as they enter, what is a fantastic centre with all the amenities and facilities you could want. The teaching Structure is set out that all abilities are taken through a very traditional and informative syllabus where all ages can follow with confidence knowing they have realistic goals to aim to. Amazing !!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My son joined MAW only two weeks ago, and there has been such a big improvement in him already. He really focuses and concentrates in the classes which is so good to see, as concentration is something he has always struggled with. After Master B chatting with the group at the end of a session last week about respect, discipline, and their behaviour, we have seen a massive improvement in our sons behaviour he is a completely different child and it has just made home life so much more relaxed for everyone. It’s not just about the kicking and punching at MAW, it’s also about making everyone of them there realise to be the best that they can be as a human being. Would highly recommend MAW to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My children are enrolled on the ninja rangers program, and I feel it’s a great way to get them moving after too much sitting down in a classroom all day, as well as providing them an opportunity for developing confidence. I decided to dip my toe in the water by supporting my neighbour who wanted to try the adult classes. I consider myself more of a yoga or meditation kind of a gal. For the last few years, I have really committed to a journey of improving my self-confidence, indecision and clearing away self-doubts about my capabilities. With the understanding of the mind and body connection, I am amazed at what a difference I have witnessed by working on myself from this angle of the body. The powerful movements and use of my voice in a different way has brought me to a whole new level, and I really am starting to believe in myself so much more. I can see how it has changed my energy in my day to day life and in my new business and with my creative side in writing my book. The results have exceeded my expectations. There is an amazing community vibe, I love the connection with the other participants. I feel it’s a non-judgemental place and also support coming from both instructors and the other participants. I love that it is a family run business and not a franchise. I feel there is a real passion and authenticity with Martial Art World, it truly is a gem, as are the people. It’s the art that I didn’t know was missing from my life, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to experience the leadership program, which has already been life-changing for me.

Fantastic experience: Martial Art World is so much more than a martial art school. As well as learning kick boxing and/or Taekwondo skills you also learn how important mental focus is and how to use it to drive you to become the best you can be in all aspects of life. The team are amazing! They make you feel so welcome from the first time you walk in and they make so much effort to really get to know each and every student - how they remember everyone's name I have no idea! They are so supportive and make it explicitly clear that every student must work at their own pace and ability and not to compare to others which in turn brings out so much mutual respect between students. I would highly recommend Martial Art World, whether you are wanting to increase your fitness, learn the art, self defence skills , develop self confidence or want to join a community of like minded people or all of the above! - this is the place to be.

It has a strong family-friendly ethos at it's heart, evidenced by the many black belts that have come through the 'Little Ninja's' programme! With a supportive, talented and understanding team of instructors, that recognize that everyone's abilities are different, it will encourage you to become the best version of yourself. Fantastic experience: The real deal in Martial Arts training. Compelling leadership from practitioners at the highest level of their Art. The training is not just technically good but delivered in an accessible way that allows a complete novice to grow on a journey to Black Belt. It is also worth noting that the training is flexible around individual goals that makes it a great place to train if you are; unfit , starting on a journey ; very fit looking to improve to excellence; or just wanting the comfort of knowing a reasonable level of self defense. The students are from all walks of life and , indeed, all age groups so this is a great place for families to train together. The culture is very open and inclusive - so, my personal advice would be to come along, and check the place out. At the time of writing the club offer several initial sessions entirely free so you can "try before you buy".

Fantastic experience: There's a reason why Martial Art World is one of Hampshire's biggest Martial Arts Clubs and still growing. Being a family run business with years of experience and expertice the Bonthuys offer a club like no other. Classes are fun and engaging as well as teaching a number of life skills whether you're a Little Ninja taking your first steps in the Martial Art World or a seasoned Black Belt. Martial Art World Offers a Diverse and exciting place to train specialising in Korean Marial Arts and Takwondo. Anything else is a compromise.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend MAW highly enough for students of all ages and abilities. From the moment you arrive you can tell that MAW is a family run organisation as the care and consideration is second to none. They really take the time to understand your goals and aspirations and ensure that the experience is right for you. This is the first coaching organisation I have ever been involved with where money really doesn't feel like the motivator and that only serves to enhance the experience. The facilities are purpose built and superb - none of the 'old church hall' here - and this allows for a very safe training environment. Vastly experienced instructors and a very comprehensive, well thought out syllabus ensure that you always know 'where you are heading' and feel fully supported in getting there. Everyone is judged individually so there is no embarrassment in your first class and everyone is very welcoming. If you are considering a training program for yourself, whatever your goals or perhaps for your family, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MAW to anyone. Go along, you wont regret it. Fantastic experience: Martial art world has an atmosphere like no other, whether your anxious or raring to go MAW brings fun, community and discipline. One of the best qualities about MAW is that everyone is able to work at their own pace ,while also being pushed to be the best they can be. The instructors here are also amazing and allow each student to shine through patience, friendliness and expertise , and I cannot thank them enough! Through their guidance I have gained so much more confidence that has really translated through the rest of my life! Returning after a few years break due to family circumstances, I was welcomed back with such warmth, and I felt very relaxed and cared for as I got back into training, all thanks to the wonderful people here. I truly look forward to every class and i can assure you that the hard work does pay off. So if your looking for a great place to train, exercise and have fun, no matter your experinece ,I cannot recommend martial art world enough!

Fantastic experience: My daughter Lucy started at age 9 in the ninja classes and has now progressed to leadership! It has had a positive effect on Lucy’s concentration and confidence, both personally and at school! All members of the Martial Art World team have been hugely supportive throughout the the process! Lucy has become very focused and determined to teach her goals! As a mum I am so pleased at Lucy’s enthusiasm and the fact she is learning key life skills!

Fantastic experience: I am having an amazing time at Martial Art World. The whole team are so helpful and supportive, it is like having a second family. I have been going for the last two and a half years. I have seen my fitness levels and confidence increase and my mental health was helped by being part of such a fantastic team. The instructors certainly know their stuff and they are all amazing at teaching both adults and children. Master Bonthuys, Master J Bonthuys and Mr B Bonthuys are all kind, and patient and genuinely want their students to succeed. The ethos and values mirror my own, self-discipline and respect for ourselves and others are two key principles. I would highly recommend Martial Art World. This is the best Martial Art Club in the country and if you are fortunate to live in Andover I would recommend you to come and see Martial Art World for yourself.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been training together at MAW for the last six or seven years, and our son has been attending ninja classes for the last two years - it's a very family-friendly place. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting into martial arts either for the first time or as a reintroduction. The MAW programme starts you from the 'ground up' learning basic skills, before offering you a choice of Taekwondo or Korean Kickboxing (or both of those disciplines together as a dual art). Their 'module' based approach means that, provided you stick with classes, your skills and capabilities grow and improve in gradual increments over time under their careful guidance, and before you realise it, you've become a capable martial artist. This isn't a 'throw you in the deep end to see if you can cope' type of school - it's a very supportive environment, great for growing confidence and depth of understanding as well as breadth of knowledge. The culture amongst both staff and students also reflects the wider ethos of the school - everyone is mutually supportive and respectful of each other. People are genuinely keen to help each other develop as martial artists, and the responsibilities that come with that - in terms of using the skills you learn appropriately - are made clear to all students. All in all, a great place to train - whether you're in it for the fitness, fun or to learn serious self defence skills.

Fantastic experience: As a family of 4 we have been training at martial art world for over a year now. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. What I like about martial arts is not only the physical exercises and fitness that you gain but more so the mental side of it as in becoming the best version of yourself and believing in yourself. I also feel less scared every time I go out at night by myself knowing that I already know some self defence techniques and having two daughters who are learning these now makes me feel less worried. As for marriage, I don’t know, there’s something about kicking your husband that’s therapeutic training together is also super fun! Martial Art World is very family friendly and lets you train together with your children which is an awesome thing to be doing as a family. Thank you martial art world!

Fantastic experience: I first started my martial arts journey with the Bonthuys family over 20 years ago as a child. When good values and principles are consistently taught and modelled at a young age, it can be life changing. Now in my 30’s I can recognise them in myself and see their impact on how I have handled life’s challenges. If my mum had a google page I’d give her 5 stars for signing me up back then! As a parent, I’m watching my child now develop the same values in the Ninja Rangers programme and I can reinforce them at home. I recently returned to the mats as well on the Leadership programme, and it feels like coming home. Martial arts, and specifically the way the Bonthuys family have always taught it, is a full-person work-out; in body, mind and spirit, and it will help you become a better person in every way if you choose to embrace it. There is a reason why MAW has been successful for so long, and why many of us feel like we’re in some sort of fantastic cult!

Fantastic experience: Since joining Taekwondo and kickboxing classes at Martial Art World, it has become an integral part of our lives. The ‘ninja’ classes for children are excellent, teaching all levels of technique to encourage beginners and challenge the more experienced. They are based around a single philosophy of nurturing the younger generation to make good decisions and become the best version of themselves in all they do. The adult classes are wonderful for improving fitness and focus, all the while developing mental agility in a friendly and safe environment. We started training at Martial Art World after I had practised judo for some 40 years, and my family had very limited knowledge and understanding of Martial Arts. It is the most wonderful family activity, keeping us fit while having fun and helping each other to achieve our goals. I would strongly recommend Martial Art World to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Martial Art World (MAW) is an awesome place to learn martial arts. Our children have loved training here since Little Ninjas with Mrs Bryden and Miss Whiley. They're now in Leadership, ready to gain the experience needed to earn their black belts. At every step the staff have been patient and brilliant taking each of our children's abilities to help them progress and gain confidence. One of our children is autistic and seeing the positive effect martial arts has for him is amazing. If you're thinking of starting a martial art as a family we would highly recommend you come here first!

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Martial Art World highly enough! My son has worked his way through Martial Art World’s Ninja program from Little Ninjas to Ninja Rangers and has now moved into the Ninja Leader program (he’s now aged 7). The classes are taught with an excellent combination of respect, discipline and fun. The teachers are caring and take the time to get to know all the children attending and support their needs. The dedicated training area with padded floor also makes a huge difference giving the children a safe and spacious environments with plenty of space to train together. We had in the past tried another local taekwondo academy but it came nowhere near to providing the Martial Art World experience!

Fantastic experience: I joined Martial Art World after moving to Andover in lockdown. I had previously dabbled with TaeKwonDo 15 years ago before taking up Korean Karate for 3 years before moving. I struggled to find the right kind of school and eventually found Martial Art World on google. They do a great combination of traditional TaeKwonDo and Korean Martial Arts aka kickboxing. It is often difficult to find a martial art school that is good with adult beginners but MAW has a great blend of session that cater to both juniors, adults and families. The instructors at Martial Art World couldn't be more friendly and engaging - just the right balance of support and challenge to get the best from everyone regardless of fitness or skill level! The other students are fantastic, not sure you could find a more friendly and supportive group whether you are coming with a family of little ones or training as a group of adults. Every session has just the right amount of challenge for every person! I personally love the blend of traditional forms and self defence with sparring to test your growing range of skills. Would I sign up again - absolutely!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started here in the summer of 2022 and has loved every training session since. We attend on a Monday evening which is perfect for her as it is a quiet session and because she is autistic she can get a bit overwhelmed. Mrs Bryden her instructor is amazing with a firm but fair policy on behaviour. The other helpers are also amazing and really know how to get the best out of the children and obviously love what they do! I would recommend Martial Art World to those who are committed to train.

Fantastic experience: TL;DR A friendly family-run club that can take you as far as you want to go! I first found out about Martial Art World at a primary school fete, I got chatting to an instructor and it seemed like a great fit. At the time we were looking for a martial arts club specifically for our little ones to join, and this one sounded really good. Gotta see it to believe it, so we accepted the initial free period, of course. My first impression upon entering was Wow! The facilities are purpose built and there was a large matted area surrounded by loads of equipment (Bobs, pads, etc). The class was packed (a good sign) and there were loads of young black belts assisting. This appealed to me as (a) I wanted somewhere for the kids to train where they would have others at the same level, and (b) clearly students get to black belt here. The training was exceptional and we had no reservations in signing up both children. We later found out that MAW has loads of black belts that have their own classes, it seems black belt is where the training gets serious! Fast forward 3 years and the kids are still at MAW, now in the leadership program, heading for their own black belts. Not only that, as we purchased family membership my wife and I have started to train also as we are included in the price (you can’t waste free!). In the adult class there is a great diversity in age in those training and physical constraints are catered for too, for example I do some alternate warm up exercises as I have bad knees. We are all always made to feel very welcome and the instruction is first class, being taught by an extremely well qualified family of experts with lifelong training. We only have great things to say about this club and its instructors, but don’t believe me, go see for yourself!

Fantastic experience: My son absolutely loves going every single session he comes out smiling. The communication between parents and staff could not be better. Looking forward to many years of taking my little ninja to martial arts world.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing Kubiton seminar tonight run by Master B. I have learnt so much and now feeling more confident that I could protect myself or more importantly my family should I ever need to (hopefully not) I cannot recommend MAW enough and not just for their seminars but signing up to learn a Martial Art. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Martial Arts World highly enough. We moved to the area only 6 months ago and were looking for something for the whole family to do together that was both fun and rewarding. From our youngest (girl 5, boy 7) on the Ninja Ranger programme to our eldest (boy 9) doing Ninja Leaders, and Mum and Dad (40ish) doing Taekwondo and Korean Martial Arts, we all love it. Inclusive, welcoming and flexible, but also full of encouragement and positivity to help everyone achieve their personal tailored goals. Whatever you're looking for, whether it's fitness, skills, self-defence, confidence, discipline, going for black-belt, or having some fun and meeting new friends, this is it.

Fantastic experience: Our son has been doing his martial arts since 2016 when he was a little ninja. He now has a black belt in taekwondo and kickboxing. He has grown so much in confidence since he first started and he is going forward to achieve his 2nd dan in both arts. All the instructors and staff have been brilliant in supporting him over the years.

Fantastic experience: So much more than a martial arts club! I joined Martial Art World in December on their Leadership programme, to learn Korean Kickboxing. The support received from the Bonthuys family and their team is absolutely brilliant. MAW is extremely family focused, safe and friendly, but that takes nothing away from the martial arts training. At 49 years of age I am finding that my strength, fitness and flexibility are all improving more than I thought possible. The last couple of years have been tough for everyone and the way that classes and support continued via Zoom was fantastic. I also received some amazing personal mentoring and support to deal with my own ups and downs, from everyone in the MAW family. My fellow students are also incredibly supportive, it's definitely a place for working together towards shared goals and achieving great things as a result. I would not look anywhere else, if you want to truly get the best out of yourself!

Fantastic experience: The Ninja classes at Martial Art World have been a big part of my girls' (6&3) lives for the past 3 years, they both love it and jump for joy when it's "their martial art" day. I have loved watching the instructors get the best out of each of them, encouraging them and pushing them just enough to increase their confidence and skill. After lockdown, it was my turn! I joined and havent looked back! Originally, I was convinced I'd "just do 2 nights", but because of the friendships I have made and the support from the instructors I have quickly jumped in with both feet and am giving it my all. The instructors never give up trying to make what you want a reality, and are working with me to increase my self-confidence and reach my full potential, which I have already seen grow! I can't wait to see where the journey takes us all!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Martial Art World enough to anyone wanting to start a Martial Art. It's friendly and really welcoming to everyone of all ages, especially families! It strikes the perfect balance of learning new skills and instilling the right values for us as a family, whilst being so much fun and so highly addictive! Fantastic experience: Having been Training at MAW since 2011 I have seen the Academy grow from strength to strength. Master Bonthuys and his Team provide first class Tuition with the emphasis on continuous self improvement and personal development regarding fitness, state of mind, confidence building and of course the ability to perform Martial arts whether thats Tae Kwon Do or Kick Boxing. I personally like the blend of traditional Martial arts blended with modern self defence techniques. Worthy of a mention to, is due my work commitments during the last four years this has prevented me from Training anywhere near like I used too but I'm always made to feel so welcome and have the opportunity to continue with my program even though I haven't been Training regularly. To finish, I have seen many Families and individual students floursh over the years at MAW which also included my two boys one of which achieved his Tae Kon Do Black belt alongside me in 2013. Come along and give it a go whatever your capability, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.

Fantastic experience: Ideal for beginners, this academy is family friendly with outstanding facilities. Professional staff are welcoming and supportive and this academy is suitable for all ages with its clean, safe and fun environment. Would recommend anyone to give it a try, the benefits can be life changing.

Positive experience: Friendly club, until you have to leave due to a change in circumstances, it is extremely upsetting that they demand further money from someone who can no longer get their child to class due to no fault of their own, a welcoming club and a great facility but it is extremely (extortionately) expensive with a non refundable £400 joining fee, a shame really that they are so focused on earning money, goes completely against the spirit of martial arts. 9 months training for a 10 year old had cost £1400 in total, this was for only 45 mins per week, any additional training costs between £25 - £55 per hour. Think carefully before you sign up as there are additional costs for gradings outside of the monthly direct debit which are not explained or is the terms of contract explained in full during a very high pressured sales pitch made in front of your child. I do question the ethics of the business model here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate Martial Art World and all their instructors highly enough. You really feel like part of one big family. My son has learned so much there. Along with martial arts, respect, compassion, tolerance and empathy are learnt.

Fantastic experience: An excellent martial art school who value their members. Great facilities and instructors who are very welcoming and friendly, making you immediately feel at ease. Since joining just over a year ago, I now have a whole new friends network who are undertaking the same journey, working towards the end goal of being a Black Belt in either and/or Tae Kwan Do and Korean Kickboxing. I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than i was yesterday

Fantastic experience: We started together as a family to improve our health and to learn a new skill. From signing up to the positive start programme we instantly were welcomed and didn't feel the new guys. The programme fits all, helps with fitness, concentration and feeling positive, from which we as a family are all gaining from. The classes are focused and hard work, but everyone enjoys. We are now all on the leadership programme working to our black belts in both Taekwondo and Korean Kick-boxing which we know we are going to achieve. The Team are really welcoming and always available for a chat and after class to follow up on anything you need to ask. If you want to get fit, be inspired, learn a martial art come a join. Three years later we are going for our black belts, supported all the way through, by excellent instruction and great quality instructors

Fantastic experience: My husband started training at MAW a year ago in KKB and TKD. The family made us feel very welcome and part of the family. The atmosphere is fantastic, The instructor's are highly experienced who go out thier way to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself no matter what level you are at taking you step by step through your training. Would definitely recommend Martial Art World.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at MAW for about 2 1/2 years alongside my daughter, her partner, and my older granddaughter. We have great fun as a family training together and are working towards our black belts in Kick Boxing and Tae Kwon Do. My younger granddaughter is in the Advanced Ninja Ranger program. We all receive such support from intructors and other students. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You never feel that you are imposing if you ask something. Both granddaughters have changed over the last 2 1/2 years. Their confidence in themselves and their attitude to training and school has improved so much. Older granddaughter has gone from a painfully shy child who could not make eye contact to the first person on the floor to offer to demo in a room full of adults. I would recommend Martial Art World to anyone,whatever age, who wants to get fit & have fun. Since I wrote this review, we have gone on to gain our 1st Dan's in both TKD & Korean kick boxing. I have signed up to a lifetime membership because the instruction is first class. The training hall is probably one of the best in the country, and that is what other guest instructors say whenever they visit. It may not be the cheapest place to train but you pay for quality in any walk of life. I train 4 nights a week with great instructors & my fellow students. It is much more like a big family and family is at the centre of their approach

Fantastic experience: My 8yr old son and I have been training at Martial Art World for the last 3 years. It’s a great family run business, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. There is always a great atmosphere and you are made to feel like one of the family, I have made a lot of great friends while training there. Fantastic experience: We have only praise to give to the team at MAW! Our daughter joined just 3 months ago and already we have seen a massive change in her. She was somewhat shy before joining and would never ask questions of her own accord. Now there is no stopping her! She is more confident of not only her own capabilities, but also in her communication with other peers, both older and younger. The MAW team have encouraged her to go further with her training which we can only see as a greater benefit, especially as she progresses on to secondary school next year. They are supportive not only on the mat, but also off, which we feel is really important, especially at my daughters age - this appears to be unique to Martial Arts World. All the Instructors have their own way of handling the younger attendee’s, all of which are successful, but they tailor it to the individual’s own personality….and it works! We love their principles of Discipline, Respect, Integrity and Trust…..but what we appreciate more than that is the fact they lead by example. Fantastic experience: My two girls began training in Martial Arts World Andover in 2014, I then joined them in 2016. I had reservations at first, as a busy Mum could I fit this in, would it be too demanding physically, is it really for me, but then I settled into the drills and started to enjoy myself. I’m now three years into my training and I’ve graded to black tag along with my eldest daughter, going for our full black belt in June, my youngest is well on her journey to black belt. The MMA facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. The learning environment is professional, friendly, and family focused. The teachers are well qualified, dedicated to their craft and accommodating to all needs. I’ve found my true passion, and look forward to every session, I can’t imagine not training as it’s become a key part of my life. Fantastic experience: I started training with Master Bonthuys in 2004 and I haven’t stopped growing ever since. In less than a year I started taking on new challenges I would never have considered possible. I used the principles of personal development embedded in the Martial Arts World ethos and applied them not only to my Martial Arts but also to many other aspects of my life. As a direct result I took on my biggest challenge to date and signed up for a History and Religious Studies degree with The Open University. I am now in my sixth and final year. It has been tough, and at times I have been ready to throw in the towel and walk away, but I am a Black Belt and I know it means more than how I punch and kick, it’s about integrity, perseverance and indomitable spirit. Today at the age of 45 having left school 30 years ago with not much to show for it other than bad attitude, I have submitted my application for teacher training. I owe my thanks and gratitude to Master Bonthuys and his team at Martial Arts World for helping make that possible. There are those in life who ‘can’ and those in life who ‘do’; if you want to ‘do’ then there is no better place to start than with Master Bonthuys and his family at Martial Arts World. Fantastic experience: Professional, friendly, welcoming, expert tuition and good fun. The facilities are impressive. Joined with my family (husband, son 5 years, step-son 9 years) and we all absolutely love it. Currently learning TKD and KKB on a foundation programme and the youngest attends Little Ninjas for 3-5 years. It supplements my fitness alongside other sports, aids flexibility and has additional mental and co-ordination challenges. Beneficial to our boys for concentration, listening skills and taking instruction. So glad I bumped into Master J one day who introduced me to MAW - thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am a mum whos daughter has done ninja rangers for the pass 2 years and she has loved every minute of it. She has enjoy being a roll modle for martial art world and has been haveing lots of fun with the wonderful instructors who have been very helpful in many ways and are very kind. Over the pass two years she has been going she has made a great improvement in her school work and at home with all the help from everyone. She has now moved up to the leadership class and is very much enjoying her-self and cant waite to become a black belt one day just like her mum and soon her brother and sister will become black belts .All i can say about martial art world in Andover is they are a very nice big family and people who come in to see us stay and enjoy there journeys. I do very much recommend people to come in and see what we are all about and just give us a try and also if you have any young children with you from the age of 4 to 9 please bring them with you to and see what the little ninjas and the ninja rangers are like as the staff of martial art world will welcome you all with open arms and will look after you as part of there family.

Fantastic experience: Joining MAW is one of the best decision I have ever made. The instructors and staff there are always on hand to help, and the facilities are second to non! I have been training at MAW for over 18 months and not only have I got fitter & stronger through learning Korean Kickboxing & Tae Kwon Do I've also met and train with a great group of people. Best of all I get to train in the same class as my 9 year old son and with the aim of achieve our Black Belts together.

I encouraged my late wife Jill and her friend Terry (Therese) to start a month later on the same course and I was invited to move up to the Leadership course the next month. I proudly became a Lifetime Member of Martial Art World in April 2013, just prior to earning my 2 black belts in Taekwondo and Korean Kickboxing. Martial Art World is a family run business with some of the best instructors in the UK and a wealth of experience to share. Master Bonthuys, his family and his staff are not part-timers doing this in their spare time after their main job. These people don't have other jobs, this IS their only job, running a highly succesful full-time martial arts academy, the largest in Hampshire. An extremely professional outfit, there is always help and encouragement available, both for training and for personal issues. I consider Martial Art World as an excellent resource for personal development in all areas of your life - the more of yourself you put in, the more you do, the more you learn, the more personal benefits you will receive - it's that simple. I personally cannot thank them enough for their support and understanding (especially recently).

Fantastic experience: My son has been training at Martial Art World for just over a year now, starting in Ninja Rangers and recently signing himself up to the full Leadership programme in both arts. When he first joined he lacked confidence and was regularly losing his temper over the smallest of things. His turning point was his first grading at Ninja Rangers when Master Bonthuys made him feel relaxed and encouraged him to be proud of his achievements. 12 months on and, with the support from his Ninja Ranger instructors, he is now a completely different child! He has so much more self confidence, self control and self belief that he can achieve anything he sets his mind to. Fantastic experience: I started training at Martial Art World in July 2010 on the Positive Start course with my best friend Jill Turner after Paul Turner (Jill's husband) had been training for a month previously, I then went onto the Positive Start Plus course and now I'm on the Leadership Challenge Active course. I have two hip replacements and the team have been extremely helpful in constructing special training to suit my abilities. I started at Martial Art World to get fit and build self-confidence, both of which have been achieved. Fantastic experience: I was looking to join a kickboxing club in Andover and was introduced to Martial Art World by a work colleague. My wife and my 6 year old daughter also came down, (just to be nosey!!) but after seeing the facilities we all signed up for positive start programme, which builds up your fitness and introduces you to martial arts. A year on, and we are fully committed to achieving black belts and beyond. I have lost nearly a stone in weight, my 34" waist is now 32" and noticed positive changes to my physique. Ive also noticed that my flexibility has dramatically improved. The instructors are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and their Martial art knowledge and skill is staggering. I can genuinely recommend Martial Art World as its become a huge part of my and my families life.

At the time he was very shy and lacked confidence, 4 years on he is a black belt and has set the goal to achieve his 2nd dan. Fantastic experience: I have been training here for 5 years. I started at the age of 50 ( I am not the oldest student ) so you are never too old! It's a family orientated club with great facilities. They teach TKD with in a different way that in my view makes the classes much more interesting so if you new student or are looking for exposure to different Martial Arts then give it a try.The instructors are at the top of their game and very experienced so you will get the very best tuition.
