Fantastic experience: This is the first gym I've gone to nearly every day (when I wasn't traveling). I always looked forward to each class I attended. It was important to me to find classes that provided a variety of workouts which I definitely found here. My skill, strength level and form improved greatly over time thanks to all of the lovely instructors. I also took full advantage of cardio equipment, free weight and functional areas on my training days. Great value overall.

Positive experience: Went to this gym once as passing through town. If you're used to a private gyms, this is definitely going to be a downgrade. Equipment is okayish but was missing clips to actual attach anything to them. Seems they could use 2 more on the multi gym. Okay selection of free weights. Some only have 1 set and seems to be a mix of brands. Deadlift platform in back corner is good but you may have to wait ages to get it. One bench. Overall nothing special if anything ranks just slightly lower then a PureGym. Good if local as no real other options of this size. But bad if travelling though town. £10 for one session is pretty high. Guy on reception was super friendly though and overall made everything a better experience.
Hi Luke - thank your for taking the time to leave us a review here at Melksham! We love hearing feedback from customers so we can better our services! You will be pleased to know we have some new carabiner clips on the way as they often go missing in the gym! As one of the newer Snap gyms in the area all our free weights and DB's are all the same brand, and we have at least 2 sets of DB's up to the weight of 20kg - after that we do only have one set of each up to 60kg! However, some of this are kept upstairs in our funcational area instead of in our free weight section - which may be why you missed them! We do have 2 deadlifting platforms/squat racks and 2 fixed benches (incline and flat) here at Melksham - did you find them all to be busy? Our day passes are only £5 per session here at Melksham - I'd be happy to refund you the difference if this was mischarged to your account from us! We'd really appreciate knowing what day you visited us on if you don't mind sharing, so we can praise the member of staff working for providing such a positive staff interaction. Negative experience: Really difficult to determine who is a member and who is a member of staff considering they don’t wear uniform. Spoke to the assistant manager about my goals, she seemed so uninterested and more consumed by her mobile phone. Gym looked dusty, floor had bits all over it, untidy, and I don’t get on with the fact it’s split on two levels. Will be staying with snap but going to another branch.
Hello, thank you for leaving us a review! We're sorry that you seem to have had a bad experience when visiting - could you let us know when you visited please? All our full-time staff/reception staff wear branded SnapFitness T-Shirts, jackets or jumpers, and our PTs will either be wearing the same or their own business branded clothing. Our gym is cleaned daily and we pride ourselves with how smart the gym is - with staff also cleaning up around the day, so you may have caught the gym off the back off a busy time period but this is no reflection of our usual standards. Fantastic experience: I've been immobile for a long time and have 0 fitness level but the team at Melksham Snap Fitness have helped me so much! They have shown me the best machines for what I need and how to adjust them for my disability and helped me to be confident in joining classes and going at my own pace no matter what everyone's else speed is. Jess and Sam have been invaluable in helping have the best start to 2023 and helping me into a life of more independence and mobility. Thanks team!

Fantastic experience: I joined back at Snap after 4/5 years out of the gym, I have been to other snap gyms before but this one is by far superior. The amount and range of equipment they have is brilliant, it’s spread across the gym perfectly, always clean and the staff are always so welcoming. Despite the fact that there is a snap gym in Trowbridge I would much prefer to travel to this one

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym in mid-January. The staff are fantastic. I started taking classes in pilates, yoga, spin and LIIT. It is addictive and is is definitely helped by the fact that all the instructors are so friendly, enthusiastic and very approachable. I would recommend it to anyone!

With some great advice from the staff on the type of training to do and what type of foods to eat I have lost over a stone in under 6 weeks. All staff have helped keep me focused and motivated.I have been to numerous classes including spin, Pilates and LIIT, all have been fantastic.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym.would definitely highly recommend as All The staff are so friendly and Sam was very helpful helping me set my Apple Watch up all equipment is up to date and the showers for after the gym are great. The equipment is clean and well spaced out!
