The Beach Wellness

The Beach Wellness is a unique health and fitness facility located in Minehead, dedicated to promoting wellness through tailored exercise opportunities for adults of all abilities. Operated by the Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (SASP), The Beach Wellness was founded in 2016 with a goal to create an inclusive environment where everyone can pursue their health and fitness goals.

Our gym stands out as a rehabilitation specialist, offering a safe space for individuals living with various health conditions such as cardiac issues, cancer, stroke recovery, and musculoskeletal challenges. Members can benefit from personalized training through the ProActive Physical Activity on Referral scheme, all under the guidance of our friendly and experienced staff who bring decades of expertise to the facility.

At The Beach Wellness, we believe in more than just traditional gym workouts. We offer an array of supportive fitness classes that cater to varying needs and skill levels, ensuring that every participant feels welcomed and encouraged. The classes focus on fostering community spirit while promoting mental and physical well-being.

Our gym operates from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM on weekdays and 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM on weekends, ensuring ample opportunities to find a time that fits your schedule. Memberships are currently available for unlimited gym access, or you can join for both gym and class participation to enjoy the full range of benefits we offer.

Fantastic experience: Fortunately the Beach Wellness Centre has reopened. The staff are welcoming, positive, supportive and in attendance. I feel confident and safe there, because the equipment is spaced and cleaning materials are available after use. Numbers are limited, ensuring health, hygiene and safety levels can be maintained. I recommend it.
